Chapter 34

Jeane came out of the bathroom and didn't see her nanny anymore, she stood for some time wondering where she has gone, she shrugged it off not suspecting anything.

She quickly got ready and came out of her room, she wanted to go to the sitting room but she glanced at Jeame's room.

She smiled "he must be sleeping," she said and knocked at the door when no response came, she turned the doorknob and entered only to see the room empty, she sighed in her heart and shut the door behind her, and came down to the dining table.

She saw Jeame, and her grandfather having their breakfast, Old Man Bill was already dressed for work, he got up when he saw Jeane "my daughter" he said and embraced her.

"I will be going to work" he turned to Jeame "he will take you to school and one... thing, he is now registered as a student in your school" he pecked her cheek and walked away, Jeane was stunned and doesn't know what to say.

She regained her senses and hurriedly sat on the dining table, he stared at Jeame, as he eat calmly, observing all table manners, and his excellent way of eating reminded her of a British noble, a character in a movie she had watched.

Jeame lifted his face and gave her an askance look "what?" she asked, she felt cornered, he bent down and continued eating.

She didn't say any other word, she also had her breakfast, keeping her questions and thoughts to herself.

Chin swam out of the swimming pool, one of his men came to him with a phone "you had a call, Boss" he said, and Chin stretched his hand and received the phone.

"Buddy, what is it?" he said into the receiver, a voice in the other end laughed maniacally "I am coming for you" and the phone went dead.

He tried calling but the phone didn't go through, Chin became confused wondering what was going on.

The guard who had brought the phone to him, observed his mood and saw some worrisome changes "is there a problem, boss?" he asked.

Chin sighed "yes, you have to do something for me, Japheth, wait for my instruction," he said and returned into the pool of water.

Arial walked into the company with a bright smile "good morning" a voice greeted.

"Morning" she answered smiling.

Two staff gathered in a corner "she looks so happy" one of them commented, "I think Jasper and her have reconciled" the other added.

Arial got into the C.E.O elevator and was taken to the top floor, he came out of the elevator and entered inside her office.

The secretary followed in "Boss, there are numerous files that needed your attention" Arial nodded, still smiling.

She observed Arial happy mood but had no gut to ask, she left and brought the files to her.
