The Handsome Stalker

Mi-Young couldn't believe her eyes. She was staring at the same man who tried to hit on her last night. The man was literally sitting next to her in class. He flashed her a smile knowing exactly what she meant before facing the front to pay attention to the lecture. "Was he stalking her," she asked herself mentally before shifting her attention.

Mr. Lin began the lecture and rambled on about the importance of social media for about an hour. The lecture wasn't bad; in fact it was one of Mimmi's favourite subjects. When Mr. Lin was done, he gave each of them a case study to do and allowed them to discuss it among themselves for the next hour. They had to hand them in after class and he had also advised that the upcoming assignment for the semester would be similar to it, which would then benefit all of them.

Mi-Young took out her notepad wanting to tackle the case study and trying not to pay attention to the man next to her.

"Hey, do you mind if we work together on the case study?" the gentleman next to her asked.

"Yes, I do mind. I prefer to work on case studies alone," Mimmi responded rudely.

"Well, aren't you a trooper," he mocked.

"Excuse me?"

"I mean, you barely said hello to me or introduced yourself and when I offered my help you blatantly refused," he stated.

"Jackson is it. Please be so kind as to keep your opinions to yourself as I don't give a rat's ass," Mimmi said without looking at him.

"I will gladly do so, since you asked so nicely," Jackson said sarcastically. The two of them continued their work in silence. Jisoo and Si-an watched the confrontation in front of them and could not believe the tension that had ignited between the two. Jisoo wasn't really best friends with Mi-Young but they were pretty good friends. She wondered what the beef between her and Mr. Hottie was.

"Hey, what do you think that was about?" Si-an asked her.

"I have no idea," she said in response.

"Maybe something happened between the two of them," Si-an said in speculation.

"Shut up!" Mimmi said, giving both girls a death glare.

Both Jisoo and Si-an dropped their heads down pretending to be working. The girls giggled as they did their work.

(An hour later)

Mr. Lin dismissed the class and asked them to please place their worksheets on the table by the door for collection. Mi-Young couldn't wait to leave the class, leaving behind her new classmate. Jackson stayed seated and watched her walk away. He couldn't figure out what her problem was. The girl had a fiery spirit but was just as hot headed as her brother.

"Hi," a girl said sweetly, "My name is Jisoo and the girl who just stormed off is Mi-Young."

"Hey, my name is Jackson. Is she always this 'joyful'," he asked.

"Lol, actually she is a lot more welcoming and sweet," Jisoo said, "I think you caught her on a bad day."

Jackson gave the girl a smile before leaving class. He couldn't stop thinking about Mi-Young and how beautiful she was. So far he knew her name but he wanted to know more about her. If only he could see her again and try to clear up the misunderstanding they had earlier. He looked at his watch and realised he had to attend his next class. He decided to look for Mi-Young later otherwise he would be late.

(Later in the day)

It was 4pm and Mi-Young was in the music room packing up her sheet music. She had just finished playing the piano and was ready to call it a day. She had a big love for music, especially classical music. It helped her escape the real world and brought peace to her soul.

Her cell phone vibrated on the table and she saw it was a call from Joonie. She didn't bother to answer it. Her brother was the last person she wanted to speak to right now. As much as she loved him, she really hated him for putting her in this position.

Mi-Young soon made her way towards the door, holding her notes in her arms. As she left the room and closed the door behind her, she suddenly bumped into someone. Her notes flew all over the corridor and her temper went from zero to a 100 in seconds.

"For crying out loud, can't you look where you're going!!" she yelled while picking up her papers.

"I could say the same thing to you too little missy", the stranger said, folding his arms.

Mi-Young dropped her things and marched her way towards the well known culprit. "Who the hell are you to call me that," she said, pushing him against the wall.

"Jackson Wang," he said, looking dead straight at her.

"Well then Jackson Wang, are you a stalker or something? Cause you seem to be everywhere that I am," she said not backing down.

"Oh please, don't flatter yourself sweetheart. I have more important things to do than to follow you around."

"Then get to doing them and stay the hell away from me," she warned.

Mimmi picked up the rest of her papers and bolted down the passage ignoring the bystanders. Jackson chuckled a bit to himself. He enjoyed how easily he got under her skin. The girl was truly annoying with her hard exterior but he couldn't deny that she was attractive. Deep down, he wanted her and planned on getting her.
