Annabeth pov

Ever since a week before the latest battle there's been this voice in my head. It's been making me angrier and I can tell some of my friends are starting to notice. I don't think Percy would have noticed if i hadn't started arguing about Nico with him. I was sitting in my cabin at the moment looking at pictures on Daedalus' laptop. During our trip on the argo two we took a bunch of pictures with a camera Leo had built. Then after the war i loaded them onto my computer so i could print them out and give them to everybody. I still haven't given them to everyone but the talent show is coming up and I'm gonna give them each a photo album. Speaking of the talent show The seven are doing a song and then Percy Emma and Emily are doing a song. Plus some campers from the Apollo cabin and some other campers. The talent show is in two days. The only reason there is one is because everyone needs a little distraction.

Today is the talent show. I'm doing two different songs. One with the rest of the seven and one with Emma and Emily. The seven and i are doing the song "Together" by King and Country. Then Us three are doing a song we used to sing with Nico, but we are leaving nicos usual lines unsung. We don't really care about winning, it's just about having fun and not excluding Nico. We are going to sing Let her go by passenger. Anyways, everyone was sitting around the campfire, facing the temporary stage. Will walked up onto the stage. "Alright everyone so we have many singers tonight but we are going to start off with the seven!!" He walked off the stage as we got up and walked on. We each were handed a wireless microphone. We had the music on a recorder Leo had made. The music started to play. Frank started us off.

Piper was next and we continued to sing as the music went on. We finished and got a standing ovation. There were multiple groups after us. Including three Apollo kids each playing two different instruments at the same time as singing (they were actually pretty good) a Hermès kid and Hephaestus kid and some others. Finally it was my turn to go with Emma and Emily. Will welcomed us to the stage and the music started to play.

We finished and I zoned back in. We were getting even more applause then when the seven sang or anybody else. I guess we sounded pretty good. We took a bow and walked off the stage. "Wow you guys are great" Annabeth said as she came up and hugged me "thanks Wisegirl" I answered "yeah you guys might win." Piper said, agreeing with Annabeth "I'm not so sure about that us Seven sounded pretty good." I contradicted myself. "Whatever kelp head" Jason said. "Hey what's with all the empty words?" Frank asked. I shared a glance with Emma and Emily. "Emma, you explain." I MM'd her. We looked back at the rest of the seven. "When we were in Tartarus Percy would start singing. Slowly we would all join in. That was the song we sang most down there. Eventually everyone had their own parts. Those Empty words were Nico's solo parts." She explained. "Oh" Frank answered. "Yeah so anyways-" Emily was cut off by a roar of applause as Will walked on stage. "Well everybody we had amazing singers tonight but only one can win. And that group is..."
