“Did she just ..” Ronan asks through his mindlink but he can’t just say anything else.

“I think we should...” River says in return.

“We should do nothing,” Phoenix says and looks at Faith. She just knocked them out and they didn’t even know what happened.

River and Ronan would like to tell her something but they can’t even find the right words. She said that she knows that they hate her? Why the fuck did she said that, River can’t help himself asking. It was never about hating what they were doing.

But Phoenix and Axel, because they were the most aggressive ones, just stood there and watched her while in their hearts the emotions were so mixed that was confusing them.

Axel doesn’t like women at all. He thinks that they are annoying and all mess with men's heads but Phoenix instead likes to dominate them, and right now Faith just made him submit in front of her.

He has no idea what hit him, neither Axel but whatever it was, it put their ego down.
