Her mercy to His penitence

"Don’t do it love! Please. Am sorry I hurt you. How can I live without you? Forgive me. " The girl stood at the cross road. Tears streamed down her pale cheek as she debated between listening to his pleas or to her heart. She was tired and could no longer take any of it. He took everything from her yet she stayed until she felt that her soul was no longer alive. Each pain he caused chipped a little at her soul until there was nothing left to give. She was now an empty soul that was hanging on a thin thread. She was only breathing, but being alive never counted as living. It was time to let go. A new day has begun with everyone in a certain mood. Enzo was not seriously injured aside from the shock he suffered and a little burn to his foot.

The first thing he asked about was his brother. The man who took the fall for him. After he was allowed to wall around, he immediately went to his friend's ward.

He didn't bother waking his friend up. He had been imagining if he would have done the same for Jayden. If their situation was reversed, would he be as selfless as Jayden and shield him?

The answer was complicated. He wouldn't know how to react. He was selfish. Nothing close to self-sacrificing as Jayden.

He wanted to cry for the first time for his friend. A part of him was glad that Jasmine ended up with Jayden.

Though she was no longer with them, at least she had been loved as she should before death.
