I was almost dead seeing her struggle for the air, what was wrong with her, when did she develop this type of condition... I blamed myself for what all she has gone through these five years... It was all because of me that, my minion had suffered all alone, thinking of which I was so angry on the people who were responsible, first I need to take care of my Megan, she was so weak in my arms, I laid her down on my bed, poured a glass of water and then increased the AC for her, then sat next to her, and asked...

"From when do you suffer this...and why Megan"

Megan flushed first, and said to me,

"First... When I left for Seattle, I was all alone, even though Crystal stayed with me in my house, I was not so very comfortable with anyone... So I use to think a lot about... and that's When I choked, and it became a routine that whenever I think too much or worried I started choking for air..."

When she said that, Megan had her head down when I lifted her head to see... Tears dripping, I was so mad at the people who had done this to her, which included me... Megan Pov

I wanted to just hug Daniel when he came to hug me... Wanted to cry, all my suffering in his arms. But when I thought about Becka... I was so broken and wanted to go out, far away from this person, which was very difficult for me, but the truth was that, I wanted to be there... In his embrace, telling him how much I miss him, the most shocking thing was, when Daniel stopped me and said he was not dating Becka but was with her to annoy me... When I was still looking at him in shock, he shook me even more by saying, he wanted me back... And it was always me, no one else, I just wanted to rush to him and say, I too want you back, but I can't... As Abel is still out there, wanting Becka to marry her son, I didn't want to get back into the same drama again, so I gathered myself, and said

"I am sorry Daniel, I don't want to have anything with you... What is over is over... Let's both move on, it's better that way for both of us"

As I said, tears started filling my eyes, while Daniel stood there unmoved, I turned fast not to face Daniel, so he can't get to see my tears.. When came out, Christine walked to me, from the other side of the corridor, and said

"Done, let's go... You rejected him, right"

"Ya, I can't get into the same mess again, Chris..."

"You think Daniel is a mess"

"No, but our relationship is, we can never be together, his mother will again cook up something new, destroy what we have built... We were living peacefully, but Abel killed my child and did everything possible to separate us... I don't want to go through that shit again, I am happy the way I am...so let it be"

The next day, all my friends were going back, Jack came to me and sad,

I nodded to him, I know what was Jack was saying, I and Daniel had a field trip to A city, to finalise our land for the resort, as it had no major changes... So we thought of starting A city project first. When all my friends were leaving, Riley walked to me, I know why was coming, so I moved from others, so he can free to talk.

"Megan, I spoke without thinking yesterday, so please don't mind, I will be leaving now, take care of yourself, call us when you visit K city next time"

He had his eyes on Christine who was arranging our travel to A city, while he was talking to me, I looked at the direction he was looking to make understand, I also was aware of where he was looking... Riley came back to his sense and moved his sight from Christine when he turned me in the direction to face Christine, and he said

"It's not like that, I said you... I some sort of like guys, I am figuring it out myself, but sorry about last night, he must be a normal guy, who would like girls, so it doesn't make any sense..."

I controlled my laugh, not to embarrass both of my idiot friends... While we were speaking, Christine was literally peeking at Riley, I felt so funny at these two grown-up men... Both had no guts to say what they really are, so successful in their profession, but struggling to acknowledge they like each other..ha...ha...ha

As I was controlling my laugh, Christine walked to us, and said

"Hi Mr Will, you're leaving with your friends"

"No he's coming with us to A city"

I mocked him, while he rolled his eyes at me, and gave his card to Riley, saying

"Mr Will, in future if you want to contact me, here is my card, call me"

Riley took his card and looked at me with a puzzled look, but I just smiled at him and said

"Go on, I will call you once I am back from A city"

Riley nodded and smiled at Christine before he felt... Christine turned to me and said

"I am thrilled, your friend smiled at me, will he too like me, Megan"

" I wanted to torture him a bit, so I shook my head, and said

"He came to say me, the way you look at him, is annoying him... And"

Before I say anything, Christine, walked to Riley, calling his name, I was shocked at his action, I have never seen Christine so panicked

"Mr Will, wait a minute, I need to talk to you...."

Riley, stood there waiting for Christine, when he went near him, he said

"Mr Riley, I just wanted to ask, do you feel embarrassed because I keep looking at you"

Riley was dumbfounded, by his question, he looked at me, and looked at Christine again, in a puzzled look, but Christine didn't back up, he even went near to him, and again asked in a low voice

"Riley... Think and answer me, don't you like the way I look at you, does it bother you"

Riley lifted his head and looked into his eyes and said

"I actually like the way you look at me, but...."

His voice trailed... and he turned and walked away, leaving Christine to stand there alone, I felt sad for both, they liked each other but were so scared about what society will say... But if it was meant to be, it will be....

As I thought I dragged Christine fromnthere to the car that we were driving, it was my new Royce Rolls, jet black... With unbelievable interiors, when I was about to sit in my driver seat, Eric walked to me and said,

"Madam, Boss's car has some engine problem, it is an useless old car... So if you can take Boss with you to the project site, I will get this old crappy car ready, and will come to pick Boss in A city"

I was so pissed of with Eric... He called my uncle's car, a useless, crappy car... How dare he, when looked at him, Eric smiled helplessly and said

"Sorry Madam, I have said so many times to Boss, to change that waste piece of junk, but he won't agree"

Now this was it... A waste piece of junk...

"Eric seriously, do you mean my uncle's car is a junk"

I was so angry, when Daniel walked and asked Eric...

"What happened to the car, why are you wasting your time talking here, why can't you go get a rented car, I should have listened to you, and bought a new car, year's ago... Holding on to that junk, is cost me a lot of time waste"

God, even this man feels my uncle's car is a junk, I looked at Daniel when he ignored me, I had no other way, then I said

"Daniel you can come with me, your work is delayed because of my Uncle's car... After we are back, I can take that car back for a fair price, and you can buy a new car"

"Do you say, I am that poor, to sell a gift from my wife to you, and buy a new car with that money, Miss Felix"

I was shocked at his sudden attitude change, last night he said, he wanted me, and me to go back to him, but now he's acting like a stranger, his wife's gift, is he suffering from some bipolar, I am his wife...ok Ex-Wife, and that is my uncle's car... Which he doesn't want to give me... Wow... I didn't want further to talk to him, so I just said

"Ok, Mr Ried, if you insist on keeping that car, you can, but it's getting late so you can accompany me in my car, to the project area"

Daniel nodded with a serious look, and got into the passenger seat, while instructing, Eric

"Eric, leave that junk here, we will figure out what to do with it, when we are back, now ride with

Mr Christine, and Miss Crystal"

Eric nodded his dumb head, giggling like a child got his candy, walked to Christine car, and said

"Mr Christine, I will sit back with Miss Crystal"

Christine looked at me helplessly and then said,

"Who said, I am coming, you can drive my sister safely, I have things to take care of, give that car key of your Boss, I will ask to check it for you"

Eric smiled even much more and gave the keys, and got into the car...as we started our journey, when Christine winked to me and said

"Take care... Be careful of your journey, if you really need anything call me"

I smiled back, nodded, this was the first time am going to a project area inspection without Christine... When Daniels's voice interpreted

"Want him to come with you, if you miss him so much, take him... Just wanted to give some private time for Eric, and Miss Crystal"

I was surprised by what I heard, it was always me who do the matchmaking work, when did this man start to do that... When I was thinking Daniel tapped my hand and said

"Let me drive, you take a rest, before we reach there"

I nodded, while I tried to get off the car, Daniel stopped me, he suddenly, carried me to his lap, and said

"No need to get down, I will move from here, then he slowly, allowed me to sit on the passenger seat, and moved to the driver seat... His lips was brushing my nape, is breathing touched my ears, while his strong chest moved back of my back... Making all my blood flow backwards.... God, it was so hot, while the man next to me sat there as if nothing happened...
