/"Hey, where you headed red?/" Dave asked jumping on the kitchen counter as he saw Audrey with her book bag.

/"Oh hey, umm... college/" Audrey said.

/"Need a ride/" he asked with a smirk.

Audrey didn't get the point of his smirk though.

/"No that's alright, Brandon will probably be down any moment, we go together/" she said.

/"Hate to break it to you Red but I saw him drinking last night till he passed out, probably got a killer hangover that is if he is up yet/" Dave said.

/"Oh/" Audrey didn't know what to do with this information.

/"Tell you what... you go check on him, if he's up then he can drop you off or I am right here, I'll do it/" Dave told her. He was standing close to her now and tucked a stray piece of hair behind her ear making her turn the other side and back away.

That was weird and uncomfortable but she didn't wanna dwell on it too much. It was probably nothing she thought.
