Shocking Revelation

William was looking for his mate. When he returned to the party and saw that she was gone, he was alarmed. In the beginning, he thought she had been kidnapped. In his social circle, he was despised by those who were like him. If they can get their hands on his mate, they'll have an easier time taking him out.

"Cristy returned to her home. She appeared worn out." Michelle appeared.

"Thanks." William said.

The moment Lily walked into her own house, Michelle stayed behind. For the rest of the night, humans began to separate from the rest of the pack. Only a handful of women who enjoy sleeping with werewolves remain.

"You have a duty to protect Cristy. The pack's still following your orders for now but we didn't know until when."

"No one will dare to challenge her."

"It's the pack's way, William. Her situation will deteriorate in the next days and weeks." Michelle cautioned her to be ready or face the consequences.

William scowled angrily as he made his way to Cristy's house. He went to the kitchen and sat at the counter. He saw Cristy's father muttered something to his wife. Tears streamed down her face as he tried to sooth her. William looked at the scenario with a grimace on his face. Cristy's mother attention was drawn away. Cristy's father picked her up.

"Is there anything I can help you?" Enquiries were made by Cristy's father.

William gave a nod. Even though he's bit far from Cristy, he was able to pick up on the aroma of her around the house. "What's going on here?" William asked.

"When I walked into the room, Anna was rubbing her neck and staring at herself in the mirror, as if she had spotted something else."

William shook his head when he realized that he needed to talk to Darwin.

"Until I speak with Darcwin, I can't help you." William replied

"The witches and warlocks' who hold on them may be wearing off." Daniel knelt down and rubbed the back of his neck.

"Keep your mind at ease. Everything will be okay."

Daniel gave a nod. "Would you like to come and see my daughter?"

"She won't leave my side no matter what happened." William said.

Daniel took a breath and let it out. "She's been through a lot, after all. No one or anything should ever be able to harm her in any way."

"It would never occur to me to harm her in any way. Cristy's happiness is all that matters to me."

After Daniel's nod, he stepped back. "William, I'm glad to hear from you. To ensure my family's safety, I'll do everything in my power."

"They are, after all, members of my family."

After climbing the stairs, he made to Cristy's bedroom at the back of the house. When he opened the door, she was still curled up beneath the sheets. After that, he shut the door; he removed his shirt and jeans. It was for Cristy's benefit that he didn't remove his boxer underwear. It was William's preference to sleep naked rather than dressed in the morning.

Before going to bed, William took a last glance around her room. The cream walls obscured his mate's presence. No cosmetics were found on the small vanity table; only a few bottles of lotions and perfume were there and she wasn't using it. He made his way to the wardrobe, to see what's in there. She wore modest apparel that covered the majority of her body on a regular basis.

Once he was satisfied, he shifted to the bed. As he slid under the duvet, he encircled Cristy in his arms. Meanwhile, William was staring at the ceiling as he stroked her hair.

What was the significance of being paired with a human? To him, the gift of something so fragile made no sense. The moment he finally tracked her down, he embraced her close and counted his blessings.

The arrival of the other species in a few weeks would bring mayhem to his peaceful community. They both had a continual sense of dread during their encounters. Locals in the town were frightened by the presence of the vampires, but the bears' size also frightened the people. There was a persistent argument between the warlocks and witches about a battle they had lost. William rubbed his eyes in an attempt to relieve his head of the tension in his body.

Suddenly, Daniel footstep approached Cristy's door, her father had left a garlic bulb at the door.

"What precisely was going on with this family?" William said to himself.

William was infuriated. He was disgusted by the scent of the garlic. Once outside, he picked up his light bulb and began to descend the stairs. When he placed the garlic on the counter, he used a handkerchief to keep the bulb's bothersome stem. He rummaged around in the cabinets and found a bottle of scented aerosol.

The kitchen was filled with the scent of lavender. William went to Daniel's study room afterwards to make sure that there was no garlic odor in the air. His body wasn't used to falling asleep so quickly after a workout. The study room was crammed with books on the supernatural and cult monsters.

The desk had a book about vampires from 10 years prior open. William had never seen anything like this before in terms of the number of books he could choose from about paranormal creatures. He learned everything from his father. He had previously been encountered by the majority of the creatures of the Otherworld. He'd been told he didn't need to know anything about the species he hadn't yet encountered, so he'd kept his mouth shut.

William sat down in Daniel's chair, and grab a book in hand. For the most part, the pictures showed vampires with long, piercing fangs and blood-suckers. Many different words can be used to describe vampires.

It was imperative that he quickly absorb all of Daniel's knowledge on vampires. The paranormal community as a whole kept information about its many types a well guarded secret in order to safeguard their own interests. Vampires had the power to rule over anyone, and they had been around for much longer than most other species. As he returned the book to the desk, he spotted a book on werewolves under it. In the end, his insatiable curiosity won out. His gaze was drawn upwards to the book's spine as he pulled it from the stack. A deafening scream tore the air apart. A shiver ran down his spine.
