Anna Jadwin sat in the plaza in front of the mall for a long time.

Her eyes were dry and sore, but no tears would fall.

It was natural for Wayne Bailey to be affectionate toward Cathy Xavier - she was his wife... while Anna was nothing but a simple adjustment in his life.

After waiting for an unknown length of time, she got up in disappointment and tried to hail a cab on the side of the road.
