A few months later,

In the evening,

Rainier and Orson were sitting and drinking tea.

"So, today was the last treatment,"

"Yeah," Rainier nodded.

"Now, we can begin his training,"

"Yes, you can,"

Rainier put the empty cup on the table and said with a serious expression,

"Sir, I have something to tell you,"

Seeing his face, Orson raised his eyebrows,

"What made you make that expression?"

"Young master Edric has recovered, but there is a slight possibility of side effects."

"What type of side effects?" Orson had lines on his forehead.

"I don't know myself, since it's my first time healing a person whose memories have been manipulated." He shook his head.

"Did you tell others about this?"

"No, I haven't told anyone about this,"

"That's good. Don't tell others about this,"

After seeing Orson's cold eyes, Rainier didn't dare to ask the reason for not telling them about this.

Elena and Edric approached them. Now, Edric's lifeless eyes had changed to vibrant ones and he could express his feelings through his expressions. Additionally, he had a smile on his face, which made him appear more attractive than before.

"We're going shopping. I want to buy Eddie some new clothes," Elena said.

"Okay," Orson nodded.

Elena and Edric leave the house.

When they left, Orson said,

"I will observe him, to see if there are any side effects,"

"Alright,"

"And don't tell anyone until I tell you," Orson said in a cold voice.

"I don't dare to say anything," He said, sweating buckets.

Outside the house,

Elena and Edric got in the car.

"Mom, when will big sis, Tracy come?" Edric asked as they sat in the car.

"She'll come on her holidays,"

"And when will the holidays be?"

"I don't know that,"

"When will big sister Alina be free?"

"I don't know about that either,"

"That is not an answer." He paused and said,

"I'm so bored," He melted on the seat.

Last month, Tracy returned to school after her two-month break. Although she did not want to return, she had no choice. She was the one who want to be a teacher and teach students, she can't blame anyone for that,

In Alina's case, she has been so busy with guild work that she hasn't even come home. As for his dad, he was always on business trips.

"That's why I brought you with me,"

"But I already have so many clothes,"

"You can always get new ones and I will buy your favorite ice cream,"

"Then, let's go," His posture instantly changes.

When Elena saw his sudden change of mood, she chuckled.

'Now, he looks more like a 12-year-old,'

A while later, they were in front of a large clothes shop.

Upon entering the shop, they were welcomed by a beautiful woman wearing a uniform.

"Welcome, Ma'am and young master,'

Elena nodded and went to the kid's clothes section,

After searching for half an hour, she picked out several dresses.

"Try these,"

"So many," Edric was shocked at the number of dresses his mother chose.

"Yup,"

"And you're thinking of buying them all,"

"That's right," She said with a smile.

"Sigh, whatever,"

He took the clothes and went to the trail room.

A few moments later, Edric appears wearing a white t-shirt and black pants with a cap.

"How do I look?"

"Superb, let me take your a picture,"

"Why do you need to take a picture? You're already buying them,"

"I want to send these pics to your sisters," She said with an evil smile.

Seeing her smile, Edric had shivers through her spine.

"Give a good pose,"

"Try another one,"

"Okay,"

He went in and came out wearing a blue jacket with black pants and light green shoes.

"Beautiful,"

Click!

Again he went in and came out wearing a black and light blue full sleeve t-shirt.

Elena was lost for words, so she only took the photo.

After an hour,

Andric was sitting on the chair exhausted, his mom had made him try on all the clothes.

"Let's go," Elena said.

"Okay," Edric said weakly,

After Elena cleared the payment, they left the store. When they left, it was already dark.

"How about we go for the ice cream, now?"

Hearing her words, Edric quickly sat in the car. The driver drove the car near an ice store.

Getting out of the car, Edric entered the store.

Elena laughed when she saw Edric's speedy movements.

He walked up to the counter and said.

"One chocolate ice cream and one vanilla ice cream,"

"Yes, sir. Please take a seat,"

He nodded and took a seat with his mom.

After a few seconds, a waiter came and put the ice creams on their table,

"Please enjoy,"

As the waiter left. He took a spoon and was about to start eating when his mother stopped him,

"Wait,"

"Now, what?" Edric asked.

His mom took out her phone and said,

"Why don't we take a selfie with the ice cream?"

"Okay,"

His mom took serval pics and said,

"Now, you can start,"

Edric began eating hurriedly like he was starved for a few weeks.

"Eat slowly or you will get brain freeze," She said as she also began enjoying her ice cream.

"Ahh!." Edric grabbed his head,

"Told you," She said with a smile.

As he finished his ice cream, he looked at Elena,

"Want more?"

"Yup," he nodded rapidly.

Elena called the waiter and ordered another ice cream.

In a few minutes, the waiter comes with another ice cream.

"Please enjoy,"

Edric took the ice cream and feasted on it.

When he was eating the ice cream, Elena sent the photos to her daughters,

After taking a bath, a young woman with red hair emerged from the bathroom.

"Tracy, your phone keeps vibrating," A woman with blue hair said.

She is Kayla Salvage, Tracy's roommate, and her best friend.

"I see,"

Tracy took her phone and began to see the photo and message her mother said to her.

The room temperature decreased as she scrolled down.

Feeling chilly in the house, Kayla asked,

"What're you doing? Stop release your mana,"

Tracy looked at Kayla with wet eyes,

"What happened?" She tilted her head, wondering what could have caused the Ice Queen to make those eyes.

Tracy showed her phone screen to her, and there were photos of Edric trying on clothes and eating ice cream.

"So cute!" Kayla exclaimed.

"My mom sends these pictures to tease me," Tracy said with a sad face.

"Oh, I understand your pain," Kayla patted Tracy's head as she embraced her in her bosom.

"My big brother often send my nephew pics to tease me,"

"What should I do? "Should I kidnap him?" She asked while her head rested on her bosom.

"If we do that, your mother will kill us,"

"You're right about,"

In the office, a woman was sitting on a chair with stacks of papers covering her table. She had red hair and golden eyes. It was Alina.

Bzzt!

"Who is sending this many messages?"

She turned on her phone and saw the message. The messages were from her mother. Her mother sent photos of Edric. She viewed them all.

"She sure is enjoying herself," She smiled helplessly.

She would have left already if it weren't for work.

"Sigh, nothing can be done,"
