"Ok this is hella impressive " I said as I watched Quanxi go in super insane speed bullying Jogo.

"Come on, Quanxi! Show him what you're made of!" I cheered, my voice carrying a mix of excitement.

Quanxi flashed a quick nod in my direction before focusing back on the fight. Her movements were fluid, as she countered Jogo's fiery assaults with her swords, her immense speed made her avoid getting burn by the spirit.

Jogo's frustration was evident, though hiding it through his arrogant laugh. "Shut your mouth, Akii! This is just a warming for me"

"In that case, I'll just enjoy the show," I retorted, couldn't resist a bit of banter. "But seriously, Jogo, all you do is some fire shit, can't come up with something new already?"

Quanxi's response was a flurry of calculated strikes, each one aimed with force and accuracy. She was in her element, she managed to land multiple hits and slashes with her swords, resulting in one of them melting from Jogo's cursed techniques heat.

"Quanxi, watch out! He's getting desperate!" I called out, hoping my warning would give her an edge.

[Cursed Technique: Disaster flames]

Shooting multiple heat rays from his palms, that the last sword of her can't block, so she avoided them, with her speed hiding under and in nearby trees that most of them caught fire eventually.

She was nowhere to be seen, only me watching while Jogo looking around frantically trying to locate her.

"Ohh looks like your dog likes hide and seek" The volcano course said before

[Cursed Technique: Ember Insects]

He summoned small flying insect-like curses from the volcanic opening in his head. They spread around before finding her, she lunged at him from behind but they had large stingers that produced a loud noise upon impact before detonating into a flaming explosion, she cut the insects in the way but the explosions were unavoidable.

Despite it, it did not affect as she successfully cut his arms, landing on the ground with grace, her swords breaking into pieces in a cinematic view.

Well, the spirit just regenerated "this is taking too long, I shall finish it"

We're cooked if he is about to do what I'm thinking, since sharing techniques with my contractors is pretty tiring.

[Domain Expansion: Coffin of the Iron Mountain]

His domain is just a volcano from the inside, though Quanxi seems to be not bothered by his cursed techniques heat, the domain was a different story, she burned up on impact, dropping to the ground.

"I'm suprised you still used your domain even after what happened with Gojo Satoru" I said.

To be honest, the constant sharing of techniques with my contractors is quite energy draining, I can't cut it off since I don't know what situation Reze is right now, and choso's taming is very important given he is the one who knocked Yuji leading to the disaster in Shibuya.

It was very hot in here, I couldn't stop sweating. Jogo is not an easy opponent, though it shown that he is weak but he only encountered unfair matches, Gojo and Sukuna.

I dodge Jogo's fiery blast, feeling the searing heat graze my cheek. My skin sizzles, but I twist in midair, my foot connecting with his face. He reels back, his flamed arm swinging toward me. I duck, then leap up, delivering a swift kick to his jaw. His lava engulfs me, my skin melting and reforming almost instantly.

"Persistent, aren't you?" Jogo snarls, summoning a torrent of molten rock that rushes towards me. I sidestep, rolling to the left, then launch myself forward, my fist aiming for his chest. He counters with a flaming fist, and we collide midair, the force sending us both spiraling back, but he sure went far than me.

My body ignites as his flames consume me, but I don't flinch. Instead, I barrel through the inferno, landing a punch to his gut. Jogo snarls, sending an explosive wave of cursed energy that hurls me against the domain's 'moutain rocks'. The impact cracks my bones, but they knit back together before I hit the ground.

Jogo soars above me, raining down fireballs. I dart between them, every missed shot leaving the ground scorched. I leap up, delivering a spinning kick that connects with his temple. He staggers, then retaliates with a burst of lava that engulfs my arm. It burns away, only to regrow seconds later.

"Impressive regeneration," Jogo mocks. "But how long can you keep this shit up?"

"As long as it takes," I growl, launching myself at him. We exchange blows, each strike stronger than the last. The impact of his domain's heat burns my flesh, but I ignore the pain, focusing on my next move. I sweep his legs, and as he falls, I land a punch that sends him crashing to the ground.

Jogo erupts in a fury, his entire body becoming a molten inferno and glowing of cursed energy. I leap back, narrowly avoiding the tidal wave of lava. Midair, I twist and propel myself forward, landing on his shoulders. I grip his head, smashing it into the ground. Lava spews everywhere, but I keep my hold, feeling the heat eat away at my skin.

"You're damned finished," I hiss, my hands glowing with cursed energy. But Jogo erupts in a final desperate explosion sending me flying. I land hard; my body regenerating even as I skid to a stop.

Is he a volcano spirit or a bomb one ?

Jogo stands battered but defiant "Is that all you've got?"

"Not even close," I smirk forming a hand sign "Simple Domain."

REZE'S POV

Choso and I walked down the worn out street, the excitement of our recent battle still fresh in our minds. Choso had just experienced an emotional breakdown of discovering that Yuji was his brother. I watched him closely, seeing the mix of different emotions like pain, guilt, new found brother complex

"Reze," he said hesitantly, breaking the silence. "Is it really true? Yuji... he's my little brother?"

I nodded, giving him a smile, a faint one. "Yes, yes Choso! Yuji is your damned brother! I know it's a lot to take in, but it's the truth dude, get a grip"

He stopped walking and looked at the sky, as if trying to make sense of everything, that was quite cringy and awkward for me. "My brother... all this time, I had family. And I... fought him..." He sounded guilty.

"Hey, you didn't know," I reassured him. "Now you can protect him, just like you've always wanted to protect your family."

Choso's eyes softened, a rare vulnerability showing. "You're right. I can make up for all the lost time. I won't let anyone hurt Yuji. I'll be there for him, no matter what."

We resumed walking, Choso's steps more purposeful now. "Reze, thank you for telling me, for helping me see the truth. I want to be the best brother I can be for Yuji. I'll teach him everything I know, keep him safe from harm."

"You're already a step ahead, Choso. Just being there for him is enough," I said, "and you will pay for it anyway so need to thank me" she added.

Choso's face lit up with an earnest smile. "I'll take Yuji under my wing. We can train together, fight together. I'll show him all the techniques I've learned. And we'll have fun too! I've heard about this thing called 'movies.' Maybe we could watch one together. And food! I'll make sure he never goes hungry."

This sounded sweet and at the same time overprotective. "Sounds like you have a lot of plans."

His eyes sparkled with determination. "I do. I want Yuji to know he has family who cares about him. Someone who will always be in his corner. I missed out on so much, but I won't miss out on any more. Not with him."

"I'm sure Yuji will be more than happy to have you as his brother," I said. "Just remember, it's okay to take things one step at a time. Building relationships takes time, but your genuine care will mean the world to him." If he pushes himself at the poor guy all at once won't be good.

Choso nodded, carefully realising. "I understand. Thank you, Reze. For everything. For being there, for helping me. I owe you a lot."

"No need to thank me man. I'm just glad i did some of a family reuniting" I replied softly.

As we continued down the street, Choso kept yapping about his plans for bonding with Yuji, his voice filled with a newfound joy and determination. Listening to him, I realized how much this revelation affected him. It was kind of heartwarming to see him embrace his role as a brother so fully, and I had no doubt that Yuji would be incredibly lucky to have someone like him. Damn I was kinda jealous now !

Anyway mission accomplished (+ 250 exp)

Back to Aki

[New shadow style: simple domain]

In a radius of few meters, I am now kind of immune to Jogo's domain effects.

I raised my index finger, mimicking a gun, and shouted 'Bang.' A surge of energy shot out, targeting Jogo's arm. He howled in pain as the cursed energy tore through his flesh, leaving a smoking wound in its wake. But Jogo was no pushover. His flames trying to overwhelm my shadow style.

Thinking fast, I summoned a group of zombies to distract Jogo. Their fragile bodies stumbled towards him, drawing his attention away from me. I watched as Jogo's flames consumed the zombies, leaving behind nothing but charred remains. It was a risk, but it bought me the opening I needed. With a swift movement, I lunged forward, aiming a punch at Jogo's midsection.

He countered with a barrage of fiery punches, each one burning through my skin. But I held my ground, trying to avoid them.

[Cursed technique: Choke]

An invisible hand wrapped around Jogo's throat, squeezing tightly. it was a temporary hold, but it bought me precious seconds.

I used those seconds wisely. Regenerating in the process, I launched a flurry of punches and kicks at Jogo, reinforced with cursed energy, hitting two consecutive black flashes in a row !

Jogo staggered back, looking pale and tired as he groaned in pain.

Disappointment, my black flash should knock him out !

I didn't give him a chance to recover. "Bang!" I shouted, unleashing another burst of energy that sent Jogo flying backward.

But Jogo wasn't done yet. With a roar, he used what looked like an army of insects and different cursed flames, I blocked it with a pile of zombies as I quickly held Quanxi's body

[Usage : 70 years]

Pulling a fucking hydrogen bomb from my halo and throwing it at the lava pool near the moutain in the domain, and damned, within a second the explosion managed to completely destroy Jogo's domain.

Given my cursed energy cannot hurt me, I wasn't injured but I only managed to protect most of the upper half of Quanxi's body.

I positioned my right hand into the shape of a gun, index finger pointing straight out as the barrel, left palm facing up before saying 'Bang' and I let the blood drop and spill into the blonde's mouth. As she is a hybrid, she was fully awake and healthy now, all healed up.

Jogo was one punch away from death, Quanxi just looked around quietly before walking up to him.

But before she could deliver the final blow, a familiar figure appeared on the edge of the battlefield, interrupting the moment.

"Kenjaku, and ...?" I muttered, titling my head in suprise and confusion, even Uraume was there with them, my face tensed up as the cursed duo made their presence known. I immediately stopped sharing my techniques with Reze, this was way serious.

Kenjaku's arrival marked the end of the battle, as he whisked Jogo away before Quanxi could strike the final blow.

"Thank you, Aki," the curse user said as he absorbed Jogo, with his cursed spirit manipulation.

"Should we kill him ?" Uraume said, though my focus had already been focused on Kenjaku.

"Always showing up at the worst moments," I muttered, my annoyance clear as I glared at the retreating figure.

Quanxi was ready to pull the arrow, her demeanor returning to its usual calmness.

"Making me hand you Jogo on a platter for you is just a nightmare come true" I said, "You played it well" I admitted.

[Usage : 100 years]

Summoning two long swords, handing one to Quanxi, getting ready to engage in another fight.

[Cursed technique : ice formation]

The genderless spirit froze us in place, I would easily break the ice, but I noticed something. Kenjaku isn't planning to fight that's for sure, my eyes caught the curious twisted look on his face as he looked at Quanxi.

"Tell me Aki, what are your dogs exactly " he asked, eyes fixed on her.

"Cursed hybrids, just like the ones you made !" I lied.

He hummed while thinking throughly, 'Bang' I yelled bursting out the glace, taking my sword and lunging forward at them, specially Kenjussy.

He used a curse that countered my attack, I pierced through it though it wasn't enough to take it down.

[Summon: tail]

With snake tail I pulled Uraume to me, coming at me with full speed I met him with a black flash. Sent him flying again at Kenjaku who caught him using one of Curses.

What a Weakass.....

The spirit coughed blood, getting petty looks from the stitched head. "We finished our work here, Quanxi, I hope we meet again " said the cursed user, taking off and holding the injured Uraume with him.

Unfortunately...Now he has interest in my hybrids.....
