Chapter-53: Poisoned

The man was alarmed when he saw that the sword was moving towards him. But he could do nothing and wait for his fate.

The sword arrived in front of him and in a flash, both of his legs were cut from the ankle.

"Agghhhhhh....." He fell down and screamed in extreme pain when his legs were separated from the rest of his body. He knew that his fate was sealed and even if he was saved from here, he will be a cripple for life.

He didn't want to accept his fate and shouted at Ashmus," Please... Let's make a deal. If you let me go, i will give you anything you want. I have a very high position in the Darkmoon. Please..... Let me go."

Ashmus, who heard his words was disgusted by this cowardly fuck and said," Are you a moron? You think i will believe you, someone who would kill all his subordinates for a bit of resources."

Just as he was about to release some devouring fog, the man who was lying on the ground while clenching his legs suddenly took something out from his storage bag and threw it at Ashmus.

"Hahahahaha... You are still a inexperienced brat. Do you think i came unprepared when i wanted to wipe out all of my subordinates." The man saw that Ashmus was hit by his poison and was extremely happy.

Then he continued," Even if i had divided the whole team without their suspicion, i still don't have enough strength to kill them all. That's where this poison comes into play. but i didn't think that i will have to use it on you in the end."

The man was extremely satisfied by himself and his previous arrogance came onto his snake like face.

"Hehe... Now, if you don't want to die, let me get out of here right now and i will give you the antidote." The man said to Ashmus while smiling ruthlessly.

He has already decided that once he gets out of here, he will make this brat pay severely for making him a cripple.

At this time, Althea hurriedly came by his side and asked with worry on her face," Ashmus, are you okay?" She had panicked look on her face as she gave him a hand.
