The Nine-tailed Fox falls into a trap

He only finds a small entry hall, partitioned off by a dark curtain and a lone servant sitting in front of a desk, looking supremely bored.

He makes a beeline for the curtain, intent on ignoring the servant and whatever questions he might ask him. The man notices him trying to slip in and his arm shoots out, immediately denying him entry.
