Treaty Between Nazarick and Olympus

Currently Chu Yi and Naberal were sitting down inside a large hall filled with many tables with a wide variety of food with stiff faces.

The table was full of food ranging from golden honey glazed boars, pigs and fish filled the table to divine ale which could increase lifespan and heal wounds. A large assortment of fruits, from grapes, to apples.

Looking at the food, Chu Yi eyes twitch, before looking at Naberal, who had a cold and disgusted look on her face. The food honestly wasn't up to par to Nazarick standard, even if the cook was a god.

Back in Nazarick, NPCs created for the sole purpose of cooking could make this food taste better than this. That wasn't the problem, no, it was the food itself. How does one expect a being who regularly dined on dragons and other powerful creatures to be content with this?

In the month in Nazarick, the rarity of things he had eaten had been alarming, something that most would never imagine or eat in their lifetimes. To continue this lifestyle indinifilty, he made one of his children nurture some rare plants and beasts inside the Expanse.

Putting his silverware down, Chu Yi grabbed a cup filled with ale, downing it in one go, and nodded with a pleased look. The ale wasn't bad, he felt a burning sensation on the way down. Of course, it was nigh impossible for him to get drunk but the feeling was amazing in itself.

Chu Yi and Naberal were sitting at one end of the largest marble table with Zues, Hera, Poseidon on the other side. They were exchanging some small talk, not focusing on the main topic at hand.

The other gods, gods like Hermes and Athena were sitting at separate tables eating lunch, occasionally glancing at the main table. They were curious about these unknown gods, and their reason for being here, in the heart of Olympus.

Chu Yi put his cup of ale down a little heavily, drawing the attention of everyone towards him, "Zues, let's not drag this out longer than it needs to be, I still need to report back to the Supreme One."

Naberal Gamma smiles, she loves the fact that Chu Yi, even with his exalted status, still acknowledges he was a subordinate of Lord Momonga. She was sure that Albedo would be pleased and lessen her worries.

Zeus's blue eyes flash with lightning as he nodded, standing up from his seat, he drew everyone's attention, "Everyone, i already told you of the reason why Heaven's Blazer and the Lightning Goddess, Naberal of Nazarick Pantheon are here, but i will say it again. They are here to sign a treaty with us, becoming allies."

The gods began to whisper amongst themselves as this was a rare event. These gods may be tempermental but they werent stupid. For Zues to be willing to sign a treaty, it must mean that the Nazarick Pantheon was as strong as them or even stronger!

The last time that they signed a treaty was with the five pantheons: Chinese Pantheon, Japanese Pantheon, Norse Pantheon, Egyption Pantheon and the Hindu Pantheon and this was because they were extremely powerful with the Chinese and Hindu Pantheon being the strongest.

If Olympus attempted to fight any of these pantheons, even if they emerged victorious, many gods would fall, ending Olympus in the long run.

Hera and Posiden had worried faces as they listened to Zues.

Zeus was undoubtedly the strongest of the pantheon, but they could tell he was afraid of Chu Yi by the subtle movements he was subconsciously making.

If their father, Cronus and the other titans were here, they would not be worried, unfortunately the titans were ended by their own hands.

Hera frowns and drinks a glass of wine. She was perturbed, ever since she sat down, she felt a scorching gaze on her person, making her tense. She couldn't tell where the gaze was coming from, but she could sense the heat from it, obviously the other party desired her. But how could they be so bold before Zues? Unless.

Looking forward, she saw Heaven's Blazer golden eyes piercing into hers, not breaking contact. He smiles at her before looking at Zeus.

"Zues, I wish to discuss land." Conjuring up a map of the areas they pass through on their travels, Chu Yi pointed at four islands, one which had Nazarick on it, he didn't want them to be suspicious so he added the three other islands, "We require some land, off the mainland if possible. On our journey, we have crossed over many islands, but we fancy these four."

Zeus frowned and looked at his brother, Poseidon, "Brother as the God of Seas, do you know where these islands are? I don't recall them."

Poseidon nodded, "These islands are uninhabited islands far into the oceans approx. 15 days travel from Athens. We never had a reason or need to utilize the island since they are barren and hard for anything to grow on and thrive in it. These islands are close to each other, if they could merge into one, they could become a bigger landmass. However, around the islands there are very dangerous sea creatures that don't listen to me and the wild straits, a very fast current that rips ships to shreds.``

"You hear him, my brother is very knowledgeable about the seas, if he said it, it must be so. You can change to other islands if you want."

Chu Yi's face was calm but inside he was confused. When he stepped outside of the tomb, the island was anything but barren. There was greenery everywhere, with many tall trees. 'Could the Tomb's arrival change the landscape of the island? That would explain the change of the island, but that would mean the scope of the force capable of making the tomb and the NPCs real, also had access to more power. This was a frightening possibility, since it would prove difficult to protect yourself from it, if it should strike again. I asked Demiurge about this matter but I am already expecting no result since only Momonga and I are truly aware of what happened.'

"These islands are what we want, they will serve their purpose after we temper with their structures. I request one more boon in becoming allies with Olympus." Chu Yi already plans to gain as much as possible for Nazarick, because they need a lot of resources to upkeep the tomb's operation. While the Eternal Expanse was excluded from this, making the tomb stronger was the same as making the Expanse stronger.

"Let's hear it."

Resting his chin on his palms, Chu Yi's eyes narrowed, "Once we signed the treaty, I want you to allow us temporary roaming privileges in your lands. This is until our islands can operate without our pantheons' oversight."

Zeus and the other gods became quiet, the reason for the treaties are to prevent gods from entering the domain of other gods. Divine wars had happened before because gods didn't have boundaries.

Zues sat down, with a frown on his head, 'The Nazarick Pantheon have many Supreme Beings equal to Heaven's Blazer, who may be stronger than me, no he is stronger than me. If I allow him free reign into my lands, what is stopping him from attacking us and annexing Olpympus? I'm afraid that we cannot stop these Supreme Beings, but allowing them in is like letting a tiger in our home, a nightmare to live with.' Thinking for a moment, Zeus solemnly spoke, "I will grant the Nazarick Pantheon this privilege but we must be allowed to do the same in your lands. None of the Supreme Beings are allowed to enter our lands without directly asking me, which I will also do to you. The gods are forbidden from showing their divine powers in our lands, they can only use it for self defense, but nothing more. They cannot lead the mortals away from our influence."

Chu Yi realized that Zues was becoming more wary of him and the threat he possessed so he simply agreed, "That's good, I was about to say something similar."

Sighing deeply, Zeus asked a question he had been wondering about, "How would you go about populating these islands? We could send a hundred thousand mortals to you."

"There is no need, the Supreme Beings have their creations, they will repopulate the islands. I believe that concludes this talk."

"Yes, all we need to do is sign the treaty with the Fates." Zeus stood up and guided Chu Yi to the tallest temple on Mount Olympus, the Temple of Fate.

Walking inside the temple, Chu Yi looked surprised because the inside was very clean and organized, not what he was expecting of beings capable of weaving fate. How do they have time to clean their surroundings or do they have servants that do it for them?

As they walked deeper inside the temple, three individuals appeared in front of them. A young girl, a middle aged woman and an old woman that had pale skin and purple eyes, were all wearing the same clothing, black robes and gray shawls with pale patterns woven into them.

Zeus use a respectful tone as he address the females, because while he was technically their father, their powers and duty was something he didn't dare to question or hindered, as they could kill him, he was not that stupid, "Fates, i brought before you Heaven's Blazer of the Nazarick Pantheon, we wish to sign a treaty between our respective pantheons."

The Fates look at Chu Yi as if seeing his fate but all shook their heads, they couldn't see the fate of the person before them, it was he was cloaked in a void of nothing, which means they cannot interpret anything or how he will affect Olympus as a whole.

It was different for Naberal, the Lightning Goddess, they tried to see her fate when she entered Olympus, at first they could see something but then a skeletal hand reached out and grasped in their direction sending shivers down their spines. They didn't have to be geniuses to know that it was a warning, if they continue, they would be meeting death, not the kind they are familiar with.

Chu Yi felt something when the Fates were looking at him, akin to a tickle in the back of his head, before it disappeared as if it was not there. He knew they had just attempted something on him, but he was not too worried.

On the way to the temple, he already gauged the overall strength of Olympus which was not high. Mobilizing the first 7 floors would be enough to level this place, but there are many things to worry about. First, the only reason he didn't act and take Hera is because he was wary of the skills they had. He was still scared of how Zues knew of what happened a town over when Chu Yi didn't sense him. Second, there is no way a divine force like Olpymus didn't have powerful weapons hidden somewhere that could possibly kill him. Third and lastly, attacking Olypmpus would draw the attention of the other Pantheons, which is not what he wanted. He wants to develop before attempting anything.

One of the Fates disappeared and reappeared with a sheet of paper made out of silk threads. "This thread is the strongest thread we have. Once you sign your name on the paper, the binding force of the universe will act on you. If you break the treaty, you will be attacked not only by the gods of this world, but by the universe itself."

Looking at the silk threads, Chu Yi smiles, because he realized when he used he saw the power and the restrictions of the treaty. Honestly it was honestly powerful, not even he could break it but he was not scared because the treaty only acts on creatures of this universe, but since they were from Yggdrasil, it had no effect. Another thing he realized is that Demiurge as an Archdevil could write contracts that have similar power, but weaker binding force. If they find new gods in the future, they could use this to fake a treaty.

Pricking his finger, Chu Yi wrote in big bold letters 'Heaven's Blazer', forcing his healing to slow down. He was beginning to realize he was overpowered. His speed can break space itself, his health stat makes it hard for wounds to last long. He would not be surprised if he could resurrect just on his health stat alone.

Golden blood?

The Fates and Zues were confused, no creature in their knowledge had golden blood, not even they the gods have that. They could sense extreme heat and vitality in the blood, they were sure that if a drop of blood dripped on the ground, a hole would be burned into it. If a mortal swallowed the blood and managed to survive they would become immortal.

"Zues, you can sign your name." Not seeing the subtle change or maybe he did but not care, Chu Yi pointed as he stepped aside.

As this was happening inside the Temple of Fate, back at dinner hall something interesting was happening.

———

"Lightning Goddess, who are these Supreme Beings you speak of, and why do you think I'm not worthy of Heaven's Blazer?" Although she spoke calmly , everyone heard the wrath in her voice.

Hmph, looking down at Hera with her eyes, Narberal Gamma began to explain, " The Supreme Beings are the highest beings in the universe, they all possessed powers above the gods. In fact, in the past, the Supreme One and his comrades kill gods as sport in order to adorn the walls of Nazarick with their spoils. Each Supreme Being represents something, a kind of law or order. Lord Yi, represents the Sun, Light, Life and Creation, and Destruction. He is the Lord of the Eternal Expanse and the Right Hand of the Supreme One. The Supreme One represents Death, Life, Foresight, Knowledge, Magic, Rulership etc. and the Leader of 42 Supreme Beings and Lord of Nazarick. If you are not Supreme Being, or even their creations, you are not worthy of even carrying his shoes, let alone spending eternity with him."

If Chu Yi was here he would be surprised by what Naberal Gamma had said. He was powerful but by no means was he equal or above the gods, well the gods of Yggdrasil that is. Even the weakest god requires a decent size party to kill.

What Naberal had sprouted was what Ming, the Young Lady, had told her. What Ming and Naberal dont understand is that the Eternal Expanse was created by Chu Yi with a lot of Chinese influence. So the reason Ming believes that the Supreme Beings represent a law, is because of the floor backstory which is in debt and expansive. In fact, it would not be surprising if one sees immortals flying through the skies as that is what he likes and what he tosses into the backstory. As long as he liked it he tossed it in there, but the main backstory was for the beasts and humans to fight.

Hera and Poisenden frowned as they looked at each other. Many other gods began to whisper. They could feel no falsehood from Naberal which meant that the Supreme Beings are what she said they were.

They knew beings that represent something like law are Primordial Deities, the first beings to exist like their grandmother Gaia and grandfather Uranus. However they could tell the Supreme Beings were different; they were more organized and rational than Gaia and Uranus.

As for killing gods? Hera and Poisiden didn't flinch as they themselves have killed many gods in their immortal lives. But there is one thing they know and that is the fact that Chu Yi was extremely powerful more so than their strongest, and to think there were 41 of such beings!

Hera could tell that Chu Yi fancied her, with the passionate gaze he sent her throughout the feast. From Naberal she would infer that Chu Yi was single, and had not taken a wife yet, which means if she wanted she could become that figure. However she was in love with Zues and while he had many affairs in the past, he had changed and become more loving towards her recently. If he goes back to his old ways, she will leave him, even if that means she will leave this pantheon forever…
