Valentine’s Day

Seating down lazily, jia xin looks at the pile of files on her desk and gave mien mien an innocent look

"Why am i the one to sort out this, isn't this your job "

"Are you complaining " mien mien asked fiercely.

Jia xin immediately started sorting out the files, mien mien smirked and walked out. Few moments after mien mien left, two other colleagues walked to jia xin's desk and smiled at her. Jia xin already knew why they came so she just stood up and said

"I will go get you some coffee just let me finish this up fir...." before she could finish her sentence her male colleague hurriedly handed her some files

"Mr yun wants it done by the end of the day " with that he walks back to his desk , before jia xin could even put down the files xiao tan and rou rou her two female colleagues cleared their throats and smiled at her,she looked at both of them and said

"Ok i will go get the coffee " she puts down the files and hurriedly left the office. Xiao tan and rou rou giggles and walked back to their desks.

Jia xin is a girl of twenty three she can be considered an average beauty, she has a great figure but her height can't be considered tall for girls her age,but she had a really nice skin, a skin as white as snow is what her best friend called her skin. Jia xin works at a large advertising company she just got the job a year ago and has been working really hard since then.

It was already 8pm and jia xin just started tidying up her table,when mr long the head security guard an elderly man who is in his late fifties walks in.

"Jia xin why are you still here, don't tell me you worked overtime again "

"No uncle i just had some few things to finish up with "

"Jia xin office hours ended two hours ago, well quickly tidy up your things am turning off the lights soon "

"Ok uncle thank you "smiled happily as mr long walked out .

At the top floor of the highest skyscraper in city k, a young man in his late twenties was seated majestically on the executive chair, he was lazily reading a file while his other hand was toying with a pen. Wang xi yi the most wanted bachelor in city k, he is super handsome,really tall,crazily wealthy and most of all he had a very prominent background.

Standing opposite him is his assistant,lang zhi.

"Young master, old madam has asked you to come visit her " said Lang zhi bowing his head

" what is she up to this time " said xi yi nonchalantly, while still reading the files.

"She said if you don't show up on Valentine's Day then you should prepare her funeral " said Lang zhi sweating profusely

"When did she turn my lover, hmmm, fine let me see what she got planned for me " with that xi yi stood up carefully placed the files on the table and walked to Lang zhi he, stood before Lang zhi and said "don't worry i won't ask you about the plan she told you i would want it to be a surprise for me" even when he calmly said it Lang zhi still got goosebumps all over his body. After saying that xi yi walked into his lounge and closed the door behind him.

Lang zhi finally breaths out "am going to die early if i continue to hide things from him" Lang zhi said as he walked out of the office.

Jia xin just got home and was so tired, fell lazily on the sofa. Her apartment was not very big, it was a two bedroom apartment, the apartment gave out a girlish vibze, everything in the living room has only this two color white and pink, her apartment was not so extravagant but it can pass for a girl's apartment. She stays together with her best friend tang ning.

"Jia xin you are back so late again " asked tang ning walking out from the kitchen holding a cup of coffee,

"I had somethings to do so i..." before Jia xin could finish her sentence, tang ning cut her off

"Stop it young lady i know you too well, you helped others do their work again am i right " asked tang ning getting agitated

" am fine ning you don't have to get angry at me , hmmm " stretches both hands forward

"Am so hungry " said Jia xin standing up from the sofa and walks into the kitchen, tang ning could only stare at her innocent friend pitifully, not knowing what to say anymore, this friend of hers was so gullible and she hated it when others take advantage of her naivety.

Jia xin and tang ning have known each other since high school, they became friends after tang ning saved Jia xin from bullies, tang ning was a year older than Jia xin, but Jia xin was the intelligent one while tang ning was the popular one. Tang ning was the daughter of a rich household so naturally everyone wanted to be her friend, but she never liked any of them she made friends with tang ning because only tang ning acted natural around her. Tang ning and Jia xin rented desame hostel when they got admission into school and has been living together since then.

"Wow Ning you made soup!" Exclaimed, Jia xin

"Don't eat it that the taste is horrible, let's just order for take outs" replied tang ning feeling disappointed

"Oh, why don't we give Mo ting a call and ask him to join us for dinner what do you think" asked Jia xin suddenly feeling giddy

"Do whatever you want, that boyfriend of yours is probably with a girl right now " replied tang ning, feeling irritated

"Stop it ning, those girls are just his female colleagues "Jia xin refuted, she picks up her phone and dialed the number saved as mo ting, with a beeping sound Jia xin suddenly heard a female voice " hello "

"Good day, please can you help me pass the phone to the owner " Jia xin calmly asked, tang ning shakes her head and seats down still sipping her coffee

"Ahhhn, Stop it president mo,it tickles"

"Oh, president mo is busy... aahn, slowly, oh call back some other time" said coquettishly the girl from the other end of the phone, Jia xin was shocked when she heard another beep from the phone,the call ended.

"Jia xin i told you already, mo ting is a jerk stop deceiving yourself " tang ning got irritated

"Mo ting is just busy that's all," answered back,Jia xin

"Alright whatever you say, come on let's go get something to eat"tang ning grips Jia xin's hands and together they walked out of the house.

"Tang ning am planning to give ting a surprise this valentine what do you think i should do for him" asked Jia xin as she walks along the busy road holding hands with ning

"Xin, don't ask me, you know i don't like mo ting so i don't want anything to do with him" tang ning replied nonchalantly

" hey, you are helping me not him, am i no longer your bff " asked Jia xin looking disappointed

"Of course you're my best friend so i will help you, just take him on a vacation for two days, it's valentine after all "

"Wow such brilliant idea, thank you ning," Jia xin thanked ning with a big smile on her face

Together they entered the restaurant, bought some takeout and returned home.
