Chapter 5 : Butterflies in my Stomach

SIMRAN'S POV

We went and sat in canteen area , all my friends we're chit-chatting, sneha started talking highly about her college, we were listening to her

sneha- I am sorry simran

simran - sorry kyu?

sneha- I am sorry for whatever happened with you

I got it she is talking about the accident

simran - why are you sorry about it? it's not your fault

sneha- I know but he is my friend, and it happened by him so, he sometimes goes over the board he has extreme anger issues I am really sorry

Simran - no it's not his fault, I didn't hear, unhone horn bajaaya tha , he gave me his hand to make me get out of the mud but I didn't listen to him so he got angry

Anjali Seema were shocked , they looked at me shockingly - ARE YOU DEFENDING HIM?

DAMN I SAID TO MYSELF WHAT DID I JUST DO? I DEFENDED HIM, Him? the rude guy who just touched me , pushed me

sneha too looked at me shockingly

sneha - so you dared to not obey his orders?

Simran- what do you mean?

sneha- I mean you didn't listen to him?

simran - why would I? he is a stranger to me

I don't know what was so shocking about it, why would I hold him when I don't even know him, I got a flashback of that incident again, the way he held my hand and pushed me towards him, I got butterflies in my stomach, I was lost again, I saw something in his eyes, his eyes were so deep but he was angry, he scared me so I was about to leave him and him pushed me back towards him by holding my waist tightly , how dare he, he touched me, aaj tak kisi ladke ne mujhe aise nahi chua, agar kisi ne kabhi cheda tha tho maine uski bahut baar pitaayi karwaayi hai bhaiya ko bol ke, and this guy I left him without punishing him, why? I was in deep thoughts and took my dairy milk chocolates and started eating, I saw him he came and sat in front of me , my heart started beating so fast, I tried to ignore him but I can sense him staring at him intensely which was making me uncomfortable, I kept eating my chocolates silently

Sneha introduced her friends to us, we greeted each other, Vijay and seema starting talking to each other fondly which me and Anjali noticed we didn't disturb them and started talking to each other, he was still looking at me but suddenly I heard him saying stop it Raj and he turned his face away from me and took his mobile and got busy

first bell rang

Sneha: I think we should go now our first class starts now, let's go

everyone got up and went upstairs to our classroom, sneha studied here and she knew where is the classroom so we followed her, boys went separately, we went together

we went in a classroom, we girls sat together on one big bench , and we continued with our gossiping session

Sneha- so all of you are single?

seema- yes

Anjali - it doesn't seem so seema,

she winks at her and we laughed on her

seema- very funny , if that's the case then you are not single too

Simran - shut up seema

her words hurt Anjali, her face fell, anjali loves my brother veer but he fell for some other girl, though my brother broke up but Anjali never confessed him about her feelings, veer bhaiya knows she loves him

Sneha- kya huwa, are you ok Anjali?

Seema immediately apologized to Anjali

Anjali - it's ok

Sneha- but huwa kya? are you in love? it's one sided?

sneha was smart enough to understand this so quickly, we didn't talk about it further and remained quite for some time
