CHAPTER 16 :BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE
All of them came out of theatre, they were looking for restaurant to have dinner
Vijay - tum sab yahaan baitho hum dekh ke aate hai aas paas koyi na koyi restaurant khula hoga
Raj was still looking at Simran
Sameer :Raj chale?
Raj - wo haan chalo
Vijay - kya huwa hai tum dono ke bich? wo itni dari huwi kyu hai, aur tu bhi dara huwa lag raha
Sameer - maine kuch dekha
Vijay - kya dekha
Sameer - did you both kiss each other
Raj was shocked , so sameer saw it
Vijay - what?
sameer - yes bro i saw it, this is the reason I started talking loudly so that ye dono alert ho jaaye
Raj - we didn't kiss
Sameer - accha, jo maine dekha wo kya tha
Raj - mai bol raha hoon na ki nahi kiya tho nahi kiya, I just wanted to calm her down so
Vijay- so you kissed her ?
Raj - I didn't kiss her damn it, I just wanted to console her , I don't know what just happened,i shouldn't have done that,I scared her more, I should apologize to her
Sameer - pagal hai kya? kyu apologize karega tu?
Raj - I made her uncomfortable and took advantage of her, pata nahi kya soch rahi hogi mere baare mai, I don't want her to think other wise
Vijay - matlab?
Raj - matlab I don't want her to think that I am interested in her
Sameer - so you are not interested in her?
Raj - mera matlab wo nahi tha
Vijay - just answer me in yes or no, do you like her?
Raj - wo mai
Sameer - yes or no mai bol, tera wo mai ye, nahi sunna hume, are you attracted towards her?
Raj - yes , I LIKE HER but
Vijay - But you will not accept it easily
Raj - let's stop this convo here itself, I think there is one restaurant let's bring them here
(raj walked away )
Vijay - like aways running away from his happiness
Sameer - pata nahi ye kab apna past sab bhoolega
Sameer and Vijay followed Raj
Raj - there is one restaurant, come let's go
They all started walking towards the restaurant
Raj looked at Simran , she looked sleepy, she wore his blazer properly,she looked at him, they eyes met , he smiled unknowingly , she was not smiling , she looked confused , he wanted to apologize , there was pin drop silence between them, they kept walking together silently towards the restaurant , they all reached the restaurant
They sat together in the big corner table, all started speaking about the movie , simran and Raj were quite all the time
Sneha - next time we won't choose a horror movie, instead we will go for a romcom
sameer - yes that's good, I think simran didn't enjoy the movie at all
Seema- simran kuch bol aise kyu baithi hai, kuch huwa hai kya?
Simran came back from her thoughts
Simran - nahi kuch nahi huwa, I was thinking ki hume ghar jaana chahiye we are getting late
Sneha- thank god you are fine
Sameer - kuch khaa ke chalte hai phir
Vijay - biryani order kardeta hoon, and some desert with it, konsa karu?
Simran - custard ( Simran said by biting her lower lip ) I heard their prepare yummy custard here
Sameer - you have been here before?
Simran - no, I just heard from my brother
Vijay - that's great I will order it
Simran got normal, Raj was relieved by looking at her, she was talking finally , but he wanted to speak with her alone, he wanted to apologize for whatever happened between them
They had some food , and deserts , and kept talking about the movie, Simran got a call from her mom
hello mumma, haan mumma thodi der mai aa jaaogi, nahi aap tension mat lijiye I am safe, bye I love you,she said and ended the call..
Raj - I think we should leave now it's late already
Vijay - abhi sirf 10:30 hi tho huwe hai
Sameer - kuch baat karni hogi isko akele mai ( murmured sameer in Vijay 's ear)
Vijay - haan chalo chalte hai
Everyone left the restaurant with their partners
Raj and Simran were left alone, so Raj tried to speak to her , Simran tried to avoid him
Simran - I am getting late , pls aap ghar chordoge warna mai auto mai chali jaaogi
Raj didn't want to make her feel uncomfortable so he didn't argue ..
Raj started the bike , Simran sat by leaving some space between them, she didn't even look at him once, he kept looking at her through the mirror , this silence between them was so awkward and Raj couldn't tolerate this anymore
Raj started the convo casually
Raj - mujhe pata nahi tha tum itna darti ho horror movie se
Simran looked at him through the mirror
Simran - I am sorry
Raj was surprised, and immediately stopped the bike and both got down from the bike
Raj - what?
Simran - I am sorry, meri wajeh aap movie enjoy hi nahi kar paaye, maine aapko bahut pareshan kardiya, I am really sorry ( she started crying )
Raj was taken a back by the way she was crying , he didn't know what to do, her tears was affecting him so much
He touched her face with his palm and wiped her tears
Raj - plz don't cry
Simran - I spoiled your movie night
Raj - shhh you didn't, it was the BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE
RAJ SAID WITHOUT EVEN REALISING WHAT HE JUST SAID
Simran looked at him and unknowingly blushed
raj wiped her tears properly, started the bike and asked her to sit , they both smiled by looking at each other through the mirror of the bike
Raj - ab theek ho
Simran - hmm
Raj - ek baat puchu?
Simran - haan?
Raj - why do you get scared so much?
Simran - because I am scared of darkness and noises
Raj wanted to know the real reason behind it because her behaviour and her fear didn't look normal to him but he didn't want to ask her directly so he kept quite
Simran- Raj, are you finding my behaviour abnormal ?
Raj was shocked, she even knows what's going on in his mind
Raj - no I just wanted to know tumhe aur kon konsi cheezo se darr lagta hai, so that next time I will plan according to it
Raj tried to make her feel comfortable , suddenly Simran shouted
Simran -raj Raj wo dekho
Raj - kya huwa ?
Simran - Aree wo dekho Ice cream
(shouted Simran in excitement)
Raj - ewww tum uss thelewaale se ice cream khaaogi , yuck
Simran- Raj pls stop the bike mujhe khaani hai, tum mat khaao
Raj - yaar pagal ho gayi ho kya, dusre ice cream parlor leke chalta hoon idhar nahi khaane dunga tumhe
Simran - RAJ STOP THE BIKE PLS, mujhe idhar hi khaani hai, idhar mere favourite flavour ki ice cream bhi milti hai
Raj stopped the bike and Simran got down from the bike and ran towards the ice cream thela
Raj - oh god kitni pagal ladki hai, ruko yaar aa raha hoon mai bhi
