The sunflower

Again she was trapped in the wildflower field, walking. Lost in a giant place, feeling so small and alone. He stepped lightly on the grass for fear that he was hurting her.

"I'm here again ..." My voice was low, almost a whisper.

I watched my feet take the lawn one step at a time, and then stopped. The camellias mesmerize my eyes with the bright color, and the mixture of fragrances entered my nostrils, I liked all those mixed smells. In the end, I enjoyed being there.

"Will I return to this place every night forever?" I looked up at the colors scattered in the large flowered dimension.

I sighed and stared at the colors of the field. The wind blew the smells over my face, and a few loose petals touched my skin like a caressing gesture.

"Is it spring here?" I closed my eyes inhaling the perfume.

"We are in spring." I heard a male voice.

I opened my eyes in alarm and got up looking for the owner of the voice.

"Who's there?" my eyes rushed and frightened all along the field as far as I could see.

"Who's there?"

My heart was beating faster, afraid of that person hiding somewhere.

"Where are you?" I tried again.

"Let's show up and tell me who you are."

I heard the noise coming from deep into the wood of tall trees, where the entrance was hidden behind a wall of bushes. He should be hiding in that place where my eyes couldn't find him.

"Are you afraid?" the voice wanted to know, and once again the clatter of leaves among the bushes.

"Of course not. Let's get out of there." I lied.

"You look like a fearful person to me." the voice had a face, and then a body too.

"Someone afraid, uses false courage."

Only half his body was outside the wall of green leaves and holding an extremely beautiful sunflower in his hand. I couldn't see his face clearly, the sun interfering with the lenses of my glasses.

"Where did you get that conclusion?" I know my hand to cut the sun's rays on the lens and forced my eyes to see his face.

"How can you talk that way?"

"You are a person." he said serenely bringing the big flower to his face not letting me see him.

"Human people are just like that, aren't they?"

"I'm not understanding you."

"You easily omit what is true." he said

"Is this part of humans?"

"What?" I asked confused.

"Why do your questions sound affirmative? You're making me confused."

"What exactly are affirmative?"

"Don't you know? Wait ... Who are you? Can you stop trying to divert me from the main question and answer me ?!" I asked impatiently.

He moved the flower to see part of his face without expression.

"You're impatient. You ask a lot of questions." he said and hid his face behind the sunflower.

"Of course I'm impatient. You didn't answer any of my questions, much less the main one. Who are you?"

"You didn't answer mine."

I ran my hands over his impatient face, and then when I took them off he was no longer there.

"Where did you go?" I searched with my eyes.

"Sunflower guy, where are you?"

"Wake up human person." his voice whispered in my ear.
