Ashley's POV

While I was designing a particular clothes I was disturbed by someone barging into my office.

"What the hell" I said as I turned to look at the intruder and all the colours in my face drawing.

"Why the fuck are you here" Mr beast yield glaring at me.

"I'm sorry Ashley I tried stopping him but he just ignored me" Bianca said apologetically.

"No worries it's fine. You may leave" I told her smiling and she left.

"You have not answered my question" he said again. Me being me I ignored him and continued with the designs.

" I believe I'm talking to somebody" he said grabbing my arm.

" Let me go" i said releasing my hands from his hold. "Well I believe you have no control over my life outside your house" I said going to my seat.

"If you don't come with me I'll close this place" he said smirking.

"You would not dare" I said resting my arm on the desk looking him straight in the eye he chuckled

" Well looks like you're growing wings and I would hate to be the one to cut it off so just do as I say and come with me" he said.

"Please leave your presence irritates me" I said and to say I was proud of myself was an understatement.

"Oh but you went irritated that night" he said taking his seat in front of me.

" Don't even bring that day up ever again until you remember exactly what happened. Since you are not leaving I would gladly leave" I said standing and taking my bag.

" What is so important about that night if you were just screaming my name" he said sounding curious. As I was about to go out of door he held me but I just snatched my hands from his hold again.

" I told you never to touch me and I would hate to repeat myself. Don't you have a company to run so I'm sure you know your way out" I said then slam the door in his face.

He left the office and joined me in the Elevator I was about to press Ground floor when he hit the emergency stop button and stood in front of the controls.

" What the fuck is your problem?" I yelled having had enough of his bullshit.

"Oh my problem I'm glad you asked" he chuckled humorlessly. "Well my problem is you Ashley, you never do what I ask you to . Why are you so frustrating? What is it with women and not sticking to instructions" he said walking towards me while I moved back trying not to panic as the feeling of deja vu hit me.

" Please don't come closer" I said try not to panic.

" What is it with you not having confidence when I'm close to you, you try to behave strong and all but the moment I come close it goes down the drain why?" He asked going back to the controls looking confused while running his hand through his hair.

"Just please let me leave this elevator I'm not feeling good" I said looking everywhere but him.

" Are you okay? Is it my baby?" he asked looking worried.

"No just please I need to leave"I said try not to panic. He hit the ground button still looking at me. When the elevator opened I left the office with him hot on my trail I noticed the surprise and curious looks on my employees faces. When I got to the parking lot I was about to enter my car when he offered to take me to get something to eat.

"Really" I chuckled

" Yeah you shouldn't be stressed out and maybe we can actually have a reasonable conversation without arguing" he said keeping a poker face

" You know if it were coming from someone who actually cares I would have loved to go but it is you we're talking about here so don't even pretend that you care and to answer your proposal I don't think we can talk without arguing" I said and opened car door.

"Why can't you just agree with me for once?" He asked running his hands through his already disheveled hair.

" Oh that is funny because it's a simple question I don't trust you. I can't trust a man who forcefully took everything away from me just because he saw how vulnerable I was" I said frowning.

"I did not forcefully take anything from you" he said looking me straight in the eyes

" Oh you didn't give me much of a choice just like you are doing now" I said entering inside the car.

" I just want what is best for my child and I will do whatever I have to in order to make that happen" he said opening my car door.

"I hate you and don't you think about closing my company because you would not win that case" I said pointing the finger at him.

"I think we have both established the fact that you hate me and don't be too overconfident" he said closing my car door before leaving.

I went to "El Rosetta" ( this is just a made up name) an Italian restaurant near my office since I was craving something Italian. When I was done eating I got a mail but instead of checking it need on my phone I took my laptop out of my bag and checked it. One if my clients is having her wedding in two months time and she wants me to fly over to Japan in order to design her dress and her bridesmaids dresses.

I went back to the office after replying to her saying I'll be there in two weeks. When I went back to work I started preparing for my trip I called Bianca and told her about it as I wanted her to follow me and I needed her prepared. I also called Aurora and told her to look after the company until I came back since Bianca and I would not be in the country I started filling her in on my schedules and people I wanted to strike a deal with. I went back home late that night but with my bodyguard. My were parents already blowing up my phone with calls and messages but my brother was the last to call me so I decided to call him back since he does not know the reason for me going back to work and I don't want him to get angry again as we just reconciled. When I called it rang for a few seconds before he finally picked

" Ashley why haven't you been picking my calls" he said immediately he picked the call.

"I was busy" I said

" Doing what exactly because I don't understand what could keep you so busy at home" he said questioningly. Well looks like I have much more explanations than planned because now he doesn't even know that I went to work

" Well you see I went to work because I want........"I started but was cut off by him

" What the fuck. You are meant to be fucking resting not doing bullshit" he yelled into the phone.

"I needed do something at work not bullshit Blake just because I'm pregnant does not mean I should sit at home like a couch potato" I said slightly annoyed at the way everyone was treating me like I was sick or something

" Well I hope today is the last day you go to work and we are doing this because we love you and we don't want you to get stressed out" he said

" I know but also I can't stay home for 9 months doing nothing I'll go crazy" I said with finality in my voice

"what if something happens while you're at work" he said concerned

" Well Mum hired a bodyguard and I also have Bianca so I think I'll be fine" I said with a smile even though he can't see it.

" Okay then you're free to go so far you don't stress yourself you know you always be my baby sister and it would hurt me if something ever happened to you and I could have stopped it. I still can't forgive myself for what happened that night" he said sounding sad

" Don't worry Blake it was not your fault let's just move on okay" I said trying to comfort him.

" I can't just forget about it if not for me you wouldn't have been in that party that night" he said with slight regret and anger also I knew that anger was not directed at me

" Don't worry about it too much and also I'm going to Japan in 2 weeks" I said changing the topic just so he does not think too much about it.

" What do you mean you're going to Japan in 2 weeks while you're pregnant" he said now confused

" Well a client of mine asked for my assistance in designing her wedding dress and the other dresses she would need for her wedding and she also invited me to the wedding" I explained

" Well get Adriana to go or Bianca just not you" he said

" You know Adriana is still recovering from the death of a father and the client asked for me personally and Bianca is coming with me also Taylor my bodyguard" I said trying to calm him down.

" Fine but stay safe and ensure you call me everyday okay" he said

"yes I would now bye it'll be time for dinner soon and I still need to freshen up" I said

"Okay then bye" he said then hung up.
