Before Incident Part 1

The day starts with a bird chirping in the morning, the light shining in a room, especially to the face of a teenager. He wakes up, stretches his body, and goes to the bathroom to take a shower. Then, he wears his high school uniform and takes breakfast with his parents. He said bye to his parents and goes to school.

On the way to school, someone greets him from behind.

"Good morning, Kai."

"Good morning, Akane."

She is his best friend since elementary school. They always walk to school and go back home together. But, they are not in the same class. Akane is in class 2-A and he is in class 2-B. But, this doesn't keep them away from each other.

"Did you finish your homework, Kai?" She asked while tilting her head to him.

"Why do you want to know? We're not even in the same class." He said while looking at her.

"Eeeeh, don't be like that. I'm just worried about you, you know." She pouting.

Cute. He thinks to himself. "Yeah, yeah. Thank you for your concern, but I complete my homework. ...How about you?"

"...Please, don't ask me. The teacher gave us a pile of homework and expect us to finish it in one night. Can you imagine that?" She swings her hands around like there is no one here.

He doesn't say anything, instead, walks faster like he wants to run away from her. School is just around the corner. He thinks to herself.

"Heeeey, wait for me. Don't leave me alone." She waved her hands and run to catch up with him."

She continues to talks until they split up to go to their class. He enters the classroom and sits at his table. The class begins. Nothing special happens. The bell-ringing points out the time for a break. He brings out his bento made by his mother. The bento fills with rice, eggs, a piece of meat, and two pair of cute-looking sushi. Suddenly, a noisy sound comes from the corridor. A group of popular students comes to this class. They walk into the class and to Kai.

"Hey, are you Izanagi Kai?" The one in the front who looks like a leader of this group speaks to him. This guy must be the most popular because of his face. Kai thought to himself.

"...Yeah, why?" He answers with a bit of arrogance.

The popular guy leans his head to him and speaks, "Then, you must be a friend of that hot chick, Mitsubushi Akane, right?"

Kai is a bit shocked when he hears that. His eyes are wide open and he grips his hand, holds his anger.
