"William and I will take care of the hydra, while the rest must find a place to take shelter, taking this magical beast to our enemies must be done with great care and control, at this moment only we have the ability to do this job" Anana stood up with his wand in hand.
This was the first time William had seen Anana draw this wand since the beginning of a confrontation since this young man was dedicated to training to perfect the art of magic with a wand.
Nahuen had as much or more ability than William, but someone had to take care of the group if things went wrong.
Anana the heir to the island of Rapa Nui and William the fifth son of the Rosier's stood atop the mountains of gold inside the room, both were high above looking down at the magical beast below.
"Nervous?" asked Anana.
"I'd be an idiot if I wasn't nervous or afraid, we're facing one of the most dangerous beasts."
"We should start big don't you think?" Anana stared at the hydra that had barely noticed them raising their heads as it began to make a sound similar to an electric guitar.
Anana raised her wand upwards "Garjanā!" the white light of raised towards the ceiling then dropped down in the form of a bolt of lightning that struck the hydra making it roar in pain.
"Wingardium leviosa!" each of the heavy things in the room began to slowly rise, even the coins on all sides, then it only took a wave of the hand for each object that was made to levitate to be thrown at great speed against the Hydra.
"Beginner magic with great effects, really something unusual" Anana commented.
"Throwing lightning from a start is a great entry."
They both smiled confidently as they looked at the Hydra that lunged towards them the moment it regained its composure, both mages backed off while using spells to slow the creature's advance.
They had to keep their concentration on the path they were traveling, the three heads of the hydra and the huge murderous sting that had threatened them several times throughout the confrontation.
Both wizards were quite proficient, more so than all the other students in their own grades but at this moment that strength they were proud of was minuscule against the hydra. A beast capable of making the aurors fear a direct confrontation, one of the reasons for this was because of how thick its skin and scales were causing many of the spells that would be used to confront this beast to be useless.
"Where are our scapegoats?" asked Anana avoiding the sting of the hydra that buried itself in the position it was only a second ago.
"On the other side of the door, they have their guard down but if we go in first then our lives are not likely to come out intact" warned William looking at his partner who already seemed to have taken action regarding it.
Now the two of them had to move to be on the other side of the beast and force it to back off somehow or simply....
Bam!
Anana kicked the doors open with a single blow, leaving the hydra and the two young mages in the open.
All the treasure hunters stared at the duo of students who had entered the room they were guarding, they didn't delay a single second in pulling out their wands to defend themselves then they noticed the three heads peeking through the door.
"I hope you don't mind, but I brought this boy to keep you company, as for us... we still have things to do" both students started running in a random direction.
The treasure hunters immediately fought back, they began their attack with ferocity, the magical beast in front of them was not something they could take lightly.
No more than a minute had passed before the hydra's sting impaled one of the hunters killing him almost instantly, though the hydra scales were tough, withstanding the amount of spells and curses cast by the treasure hunters was an incredible feat but their defenses were rapidly decaying.
"It's a very strong beast" mentioned Anana watching the battle from an upper floor, in a safe place where they could not be found easily but at the same time simple to access. Both students were waiting to see which of the two sides would give up first and then attack the winning side when it was weak.
William and Anana were waiting quietly when the white-haired man's mind's eye detained new presences.
"William?" asked Anana looking at the young man beside him "'what's wrong?"
"We have company" replied William in a deep voice
"More treasure hunters?"
William shook his head, before Anana could continue speaking William looked up at the ceiling "They're Mortifagos."
"Mortifagos, how can you be sure!"
"The aura... my grandfather before had to serve Voldemort and the aura of Mortifagos doesn't disappear, the sense of coldness their spirits possess is only below the Dementors" William remembered his grandfather and the first time he saw him, a terrifying man indeed.
William and Anana focused their attention on the entrance to see the identity of Voldemort's new followers. Each of the morphs that entered the ruin were dressed in dark robes with a mask that protected them and kept them anonymous, but one look at them would petrify you.
