Chapter 59: Collage Coral

I woke up in a familiar embrace. I had my arms around a soft body while a warm body was hugging me from behind.

It's amazing how fast a human brain adapts. In just four days, I have gotten used to this familiar way of waking up. It feels right, like it's my everyday truth and the scenes of my past life feel like they belong to a different time.

As always, Roxanne was aware of me being awake, even though I didn't move a bit. She turns around and kisses my lips. The soft lips, the lively tongue, Ahh it makes neurons rapid fire in my brain, awakening me fully, leading me to reciprocate her kiss.

"Good Morning, Master" Roxanne said with a sweet smile.

"Good Morning, Roxanne" I then turned around to receive another kiss. I must say it's a good morning indeed.

During our changing session, I couldn't keep my hands to myself and started groping Roxanne's boobs, although this is a daily occurrence for me, I get hard all the same.

"Umm, Master I am sorry, I won't be able to receive your affection" Roxanne said hesitantly.

"Huh?" I looked at her with pure confusion.

This was the first time when Roxanne had denied me, in fact this was the first time that she had said no to me. But looking at her awkward face, I came to realize what she meant.

"Is it that time of the month?" I asked her, removing my hands from her breasts.

"Yes, Master," Roxanne nodded.

"If you want, you can stay at home today. There is no need to take any risks" I suggested, taking her hands in mine.

Although I am a newbie at this girl stuff, but I had heard that during their periods, girls can suffer with back pain, stomach pain, and other discomforts.

I don't want to bring Roxanne to the labyrinth to fight monsters, when she is already bleeding.

"No Master, it's fine. It happens every month, and it doesn't even hurt a bit. I won't slow you down in the labyrinth, so please let me come with you" Roxanne said seriously, looking at me with conviction.

I sigh mentally, what was I even expecting. She once again made me realize how strong these girls are. I lean in and give her a short kiss.

"I wasn't worried about our progress in the labyrinth, I was more concerned about you" I gently rub her soft ears, "But if you are feeling fine, then okay, let's go to the labyrinth"

We finished getting ready and Warped to the Quratar Labyrinth's 5th floor.

Honestly, hearing that I wouldn't be able to have sex with Roxanne for a few days really put a dent in my mood. It's so weird. The me from my past life would surely chastise me, for feeling upset about a few days of restraint after spending years without experiencing a woman's touch.

But I knew it wouldn't be too bad, as it wasn't as if I wouldn't get any action, since there was still Sherry. She would just have to take on some of Roxanne's share of work now.

Anyway, if this day went as I planned then she wouldn't have to suffer my attack alone.

Shaking these thoughts away, I adjust my Jobs.

I had kept Warrior before, because I wanted to make it reach Level 30, so I can unlock more Jobs. After that, my plan was to level up Swordsman. However, yesterday night's madness made me realize that Sex Maniac would come in real handy in the future, so I am gonna level it up some more.

I added my extra BP to Intelligence instead of Strength because I wanted to increase my Magic Damage as I am gonna be using Magic predominantly from now on.

"Master, we will find Collagen Coral on this floor," Roxanne informed me.

Both Sherry and I nodded, as Roxanne was the only one among us who had explored Quratar's Labyrinth before.

"Let's go then," I said and we followed after Sherry.

"Sherry, don't you need to look at the Map?" I asked, as I hadn't seen her take the book out of her bag.

"I have already memorized the map for the next three floors," Sherry replied simply.

Impressive, as always, I don't think I can do that. Just then, Roxanne warned us of demons ahead.

[Collagen Coral Level 5]

We encountered two Collagen Corals. They looked like rocks with a leg sticking out of the bottom. The big rock had a coral texture, the single leg made it resemble a short Exeguttor, which all in all made it look really weird.

'Water Storm'

As soon as I saw them, I used my Water Spell. Water started forming around them, striking their bodies. Instead of walking, they started approaching us by jumping, probably because their single leg couldn't bend.

Roxanne and Sherry took the lead and intercepted them. Roxanne dodges the Coral that jumps at her and uses her shield to deflect the second one.

The first Coral bounces again towards Sherry, and she thrusts her spear forward, smashing the Coral to the side. They keep bouncing, so it looked like getting the timing right would be a bit difficult, for Sherry I mean.

I, on the other hand, stayed safe on the rear end and finished both the demons using another two water storms.

[Collagen Gelatine]

Its drop was a rectangular piece of yellow substance, I picked it up to observe it.

"The Collagen Gelatine is an adhesive. We can dissolve it in hot water and use it to stick the carpet to the wall," Roxanne explained to me.

Well, we haven't gotten around to pasting the Carpets we bought onto the walls yet, so it would come in handy. And if this is really Gelatine, then I think you can also make Jelly from it, which could be used in making many food products.

I put it inside the Backpack, and we moved on.

We had to take detours to avoid people as I was using magic right now. It is always astonishing to me how even this early in the morning there are still people in the Quratar Labyrinth.

Roxanne and Sherry had a very good synergy, and although I was in the back row, I was still not safe from demons. One time, Roxanne and Sherry had to engage with two Cheep Sheeps while the third demon, a Collagen Coral, bounced its way to me.

I smashed it with my Steel Rod, using it like a baton. Its rock head was quite hard, not like coral at all. So after that, instead of confronting it head-on, I just evaded it and kept using my spells. For me, its jumps didn't become a problem as I had my skill 'Initial Movement Sense'.

While moving forward, we occasionally encountered dead ends as we had to detour from the map to avoid people. Each time, I checked all of them, hoping to find a monster room again.

At one point, I did find a hidden room, but it was empty, with just a slightly raised center.

"Master, it's a treasure chest," Roxanne said, going ahead and piercing the lump with her rapier.

"We won't find any mimics on the lower floor," Sherry reassured me when she saw me looking worriedly at the lump.

Well it's because I had horrible memories of playing Dark Souls, making me doubt anything that resembles a treasure chest, as I always see it as a potential trap.

[Leather Bracers: Equipment]

The floor easily gets torn up by her rapier and inside there are just regular bracers. This must be the equipment of someone who had died in the labyrinth.

Roxanne gives it to me and I keep it inside the Backpack, we were wearing gauntlets so there is no need to wear additional bracers.

We backtracked to a different path and we encountered a single demon.

[Magic Crystal]

I couldn't see the Magic Crystal, but my Appraisal told me it was there so it must be. We made short work of the demon and I approached the place where the dialog box was hovering.

While looking I have to actively think what this is, for my Appraisal to work. So probably I had missed many such Magic Crystals before and I found this one only because it was near the demon.

On the ground half of a Magic Crystal was buried inside, so I took it out.

"You found a Black Magic Crystal? But it doesn't even shine, and it's so dark here. How did you manage to find it?" Sherry looks at the Black Magic Crystal in my hand in amazement.

"As expected of Master," Roxanne happily chimed in.

I smiled wryly and explained to them how my 'Eye Powers' work. Sherry and Roxanne already knew about it, so they took it for granted and continued following the route.

We had to walk a lot before we were able to reach the Boss room. This Fifth Floor felt truly huge. I can't even imagine how long it would take for us to reach the Boss room without a map.

There was another team in the waiting room ahead of us, so we had to wait a while before our turn came. According to Roxanne, there were fewer people here than on the fourth floor. I guess we were just lucky yesterday as we didn't have to wait.

While waiting, I adjusted my BP to Crystallisation instead of Experience and Strength instead of Intelligence.

We entered the Boss room when our turn came, and the door closed behind us as smoke gathered on the opposite side of the room. Before the Boss materialized, I added BP to my System making Curtana disappear and Glamdring appear.

I looked at the tall Boss in front of us, it was a huge Rock, a boulder on a single leg which was even longer than me.

It was a bigger Collagen Coral, now it really looked like Exeggutor or a bigger Lileep. We rushed towards the Boss.

The Boss, just like its smaller counterpart, jumped towards us instead of walking. This Boss didn't have a front or back or sides, so all we could do was surround it on three sides.

We all attacked its leg, but instead of jumping, the Boss started swirling around its huge Boulder head in 360 degrees. Roxanne and I kept our heads down while continuing our attack, Sherry, meanwhile, was too short to be in the attack range.

That was the limit of what the Boss did. It also jumped two times in between towards Roxanne, but she easily dodged them.

After six more slashes while keeping in mind to stay out of that revolving Boulder's range, the Boss dissolved in smoke.

[Collagen Gelatine]

Sadly, the Boss also dropped the same thing, although it did look bigger than the other ones we got.

This Boss had a devastating attack. If that boulder hit, I don't know how many bones it would break, but its attack pattern was too predictable and hence it looked way less menacing than the other Bosses we have faced.

We ascended to the Sixth Floor.

"Master, it's almost Sunrise," Roxanne told me

Well, I had thought it would be because the Fifth floor did take too much time already.

"Alright let's return for Breakfast"

We warped back Home from the Sixth Floor.

Today's Breakfast was Fried Rabbit meat and Omelet. While eating, I decided to tell them my plans for today.

"I will be going to the Imperial Capital today to check out it's trading place"
