A Day out (2)

Of course it surprises me that she'd be staring at me but with a look like mine it's quite normal to look at me. Not because I'm good looking but because I look like some sort of demon straight from the demon realm.

Red eyes, white hair, like I wouldn't be surprised.

"At least you finally got your outfit purchased." Izza says while we walk.

"I'm glad I got it done. Tomorrow I'll go back." I reply while looking into the distance.

Soon enough I'll leave this manor for something better. This world has a lot to it and I'm not going to see it if I'm just sitting around all the time doing nothing.

"Well I'll gladly accompany you again if you like." Izza says with a positive tone in her voice.

"I'll let you know tomorrow for sure." I reply with a positive voice.

There's some other stuff I'd like to check out tomorrow so I don't know if I'll bring Izza along with me this time. But after that she'll be coming with me more often.

After a bit of walking we made it back to the Manor with no problems, this place was protected quite well with magic from my father from so long ago.

He made sure that no one would ever be able to attack his home no matter what came up in life.

I still miss him but there's nothing I can do about it since he just disappeared, there's no telling if he's alive or dead.

But that aside, we both entered the manor and I was about to walk back towards me room when Izza spoke.

"I'll let you get some rest as it is getting late." Izza says before walking the opposite direction.

"You make sure to rest yourself." I respond while giving a smile.

With that she went towards the other wing of the manor while I went to my room. I didn't even bother changing before bed, everything just sticks in my mind lately.

Was I always meant to be alone in this giant place all by myself?

Yeah there's maids but I mean I don't have friends or someone close to me. Though I'm not sure one girl is all I'd ever want in terms of a relationship, since I've always thought of having a Harem.

My father use to always talk of how how he knew people like that but he has no regrets even after meeting my mom. Which is great but I can't see that as my fate, I'd love to have more women.

Sickening to some people but that'd be amazing and one day I hope to make it happen.

And without realizing it, that's exactly what I went to sleep with.

Those thoughts got me through the night and I had plenty of dreams of beautiful girls all around me. Ah, one day hopefully.

Though it was odd because no one knocked at the door or anything today, maybe Izza overslept or something this time. No worries though, I need to head into town anyway.

I changed into another set of clothes since it wouldn't be like me to wear the same thing back into town.

Time to head off, I left a note for Izza and the other maids just in case they wondered where I went.

Like yesterday it took a little bit but I made it to the town of Minver once more.

Back to the same shop as yesterday where the man was already waiting with my outfit.

"Back early I see. Well it's all done." He says while putting it on the counter.

"Thank you very much." I reply with a grateful tone.

He did something special because it's all black and I definitely have no problem with that at all.

I took the outfit and as I'm walking out I notice the same girl from before, she's outside just walking past this time. So I walk out the shop but then I notice she's just standing there.

"Something wrong my lady?" The Knight asks.

"This guy, I want to speak with him." She Responds while glaring at me.

She wants to speak with me? How weird.

"Of course my lady." He says while looking at me.

Within an instant he had come over and started to speak quietly.

"Will you come with me for a moment sir." He Whispers.

"Sure." I reply back quietly.

So I follow the two of them over to a place far from the publics eye and of course it feels quite sketchy to me but I'll play along. I take a seat at this bench and so does the lady from before.

Riyori I believe her name was but I'll keep that information private and act as if I don't know her name yet.

"You have a weird look to you, but yet I wanted to talk to you." Riyori says with a curious voice.

"Um Thanks." I reply while trying not to sound rude.

"I'm Riyori, I'm from a noble family." She introduces herself.

Didn't expect her to be this nice since most nobles are quite annoying.

"I'm Kenji, its nice to meet you Riyori." I respond back with a friendly voice.

Her knight didn't seem to fond of me but it's probably because he takes his job very seriously and I can't say I blame him. Must be a lot of work looking after nobility on a daily basis.

"Do you come to this town often?" Riyori asks while looking up at the sky.

"Sometimes. Not often." I answer with honesty.

"I see. Do you think we could be friends?" Riyori asks while shifting her gaze towards me.

That's quite an interesting turn of events but I'm not going to turn away a beautiful girl like her.

"Sure, I don't see why not." I respond with a smile.

She seemed quite pleased by this answer and then stood up.

Wish she wasn't wearing a dress, maybe I'd get a better look. Maybe I am a bit messed up in the head..

"For now that's enough. I'll see you around Kenji." Riyori says with a smile on her face.

Before I could say anything she had already begun walking with her guard back to the town.

What a strange turn of events today, but at least I got my outfit. Back to the manor I go.
