2 days has passed since Tang san and master has found yuehan surrounded by corpses. they have just made it back to the city outside of the spirit forest and are waiting for yuehan to heal and wake up with the help of spirit halls healers

spirit hall healers did a wonderful job healing yuehan. the only thing they couldn't heal is his scars. which he has two of one on his back and one on his nick to his collarbone. they healers told master and tang san that yuehan is very malnourished and wood need food quickly, but make sure it's something soft and chewy since his condition will not allow him to eat anything hard for a couple days. "Let's go back to the academy now. You have exams soon" master says to tang san. "Will yuehan be able to take the exam?" Tang san asks curiously. "No, he will be excused because of injuries. He might be a little behind later on, but what I've heard about him is that he should be fine."master replies. tang san face brightens with a smile.

2 days later, yuehan could be seen in one of spirit temples. this specific spirit temple is to test and register or update students' level. "Young man, can you please place your hand on the stone and send some spirit essence into the gem?" a gentle looking priest of spirit hall says to yuehan. yuehan slowly does as expected when yuehan palms reach the crystal, it lights up, and the priest turns to look at a therimateral looking device. instead of temperature, it shows spirit power. the priest adapts a Suprised face when looking at the level 15 mark lighting up. "This is the 3rd level 15 six year old in the last 5 months. It seems the nouding Academy attracted some great students this time. Anyway, go to the front desk, and they will give you your allowance of one gold per month. you can collect it at any spirit hall temple."

yuehan, after getting getting his monthly allowance, sets off to the local blacksmiths. once there, he decides to order one long sword and use the rest of the money to buy some food.

later that day, yuehan is meditating dorm 7 when Xiao barges in and tries to hug to tackle yuehan in excitement from not seeing each other for a little over a month. sadly, she was not able to hug yuehan. just barely missing him by a couple of inches. "Hey, don't move," she says while going for another hug."No, I feel like my bones will be crushed if I don't," yuehan says quickly, hoping to sooth Xiao wu. Xiao, yu adapta a betrayed face. "I would never do such a thing,"xiao wu says while going preparing for round two. "it's lunchtime," Tang san says while walking in the dorm. Xiao wu runs off to the cafeteria, forgetting about trying to hug yuehan.

Tang san pov

i open the door to dorm 7 to see yuehan taking a couple of steps back from Xiao Wu. "it's lunchtime," I say aloud before I can say anything else. Xiao wu bolts out the door. 'How can she run that fast? She doesn't even go that fast when we train,' I think to myself. "Train me," yuehan says while bowing to me, I am taken aback from yuehan words since he's normally the type to do the average and some above average like when he works on his little crafts. 'That month in the forest has changed him. What happened to him? he did have to survive in a forest of thousands of spirit beasts by himself for over a month.' I think to myself. "Are you sure about this? There is no going back."i say aloud while focusing on yuehan face to notice the old innocence to begone. "Yes, I don't care what it takes, I'll do it," yuehan says to me. "I won't teach you, but I'll spar against you every day after school for an hour before my blacksmith job," I say aloud with no humor in my voice. "That's all I can ask for," yuehan says with complete determination on his face.
