The taxi stopped at Ouro Commercial Street, and Mi Shen paid the fare before holding hands with Mao Beibei as they walked into the pedestrian area.
The commercial street was divided into three sections, simply put: food, clothing, and entertainment.
The place where the taxi halted was right in the food-centric zone. As soon as the two of them entered, they saw the first restaurant was filled to capacity. Moving forward, many other restaurants had queues spilling outside, some even sat outside eating on plates.
The area bustled everywhere. The deeper they went, the more crowded and hectic it became, thick with mingled scents and clamor.
Mao Beibei kept wrinkling her nose, "Isn't it not even mealtime yet? Have these people never eaten in their lives? Free food, and basic manners are thrown out the window too?"
Mi Shen pulled her along, "Let's go buy clothes first and make the most of our time."
