nic tried to catch his breath as he was kneeling on the ground holding his chest.

Charlotte was on the ground besides him, she had a worried look on her face and held out one hand to Nics back as she looked at nic becoming paler as sweat run down the side of his face.

"argg" nic cried as the pain was excruciating, he started to tremble as he gradually felt as though he was becoming cold.

Charlotte looked at nic and wanted to help, but she was unable to, she could not call for help and even if she could have, their was no one around to even hear her.

"Arggh!" nic cried out as his body seemed to be shrinking in size and he gradually looks younger, he shrinks until he was a baby.

"wahh..." he cried, Charlotte was confused, seeing that nic was now a baby she was in shock, she sat their waiting for nic to turn back but nothing.

she lifted the crying baby in her arms, as she picked him up, he suddenly calmed down and looked up towards Charlotte, his face started to regain its color and he was no longer in pain.

nic looked up at Charlotte as he layed in the comfort of her arms.

no longer feeling no more pain he known that the only thing that could have cause this was his gift, as their was no other explanation as to why he became a baby.

he closed his eyes and seen that the clock that represented his gift have changed, where their were numbers their were now none, there was a infinity sign in the center of the clock and the hands were moving extremely fast.

nic looked at the clock and did not know what it was but he felt stronger, he then came to the realization that the spark of the beast core was nowhere to be found.

"it seems that it made you stronger" he said as he looked at the clock.

nic then open his eyes which then surprised Charlotte who was slowly rocking him in her arms.

"you can put me down now" nic said in a soft gentle voice as he looked at Charlotte, being treated as a baby was uncomfortable for him.

she smiled and placed him on the floor, he gradually began to grow back to size, he went straight into fairies peak.

Charlotte face turn red as she turn her face the other direction.

nic looked at her confused until he felt the cold air passing below realizing that while he turned into a child his pants had falling off.

he hurriedly put them on and sat down an began to inspect the eggs, he had experience alot of embarrassing things recently and did not want to remember those moments.

Charlotte looked at nic who was sitting by the pool as though he was meditating, she smiled and by using her hands she made her way to nic side.

"we got to buy you something so you can move on your own" nic said as he turned to see Charlotte crawling towards him by only using her hands, her legs were dragged behind.

"until then am your mount" he said as he got up and extended a hand to Charlotte, she looked up and smiled as she grabbed his arm.

he placed her back on his shoulder and began to walk to the exit of the cave, he just came up with an idea as to what may have happened but he was also not sure at the same time.

as he walked to the exit he began to tell Charlotte about his thoughts,"i feel as though my gift have become stronger but I dont know in what way but I feel as though I can do more, the only way to find out is by fighting with the monsters around us"

*Huff,Huf.* mion was standing in a crater, blood covered his body as he tried to force himself to stand.

he looked around to see a beastman with a large sword looking at him, without a word his legs bulged and he ran off into the dense forest.

"well he did survive" violet said as she was looking down from where mion had jumped.

"if he didn't then he wont survive a minute in the monster den" graygrash said as he walked over to the opening.

"I would go to make sure that the Hellhounds complete thier duty sir" graygrash jumped out of the opening in the direction to where mion was running.

the woman then turned around and walked to the throne.

"why go through all of this my love, it's just a halfling" violet said as she sat on Arthur's lap, he was sitting on the throne with a hand to the side of his face as though he was deep in thoughts.

he then came out of his thoughts and looked at the woman sitting on him.

"being so close to the queen and yet being so far, that is exactly what you are violet" he responded coldly.

"why do I have to know what that mad woman is thinking" violet responded as she folded her arms.

"if its mad to know such secrets of this world then I want to be mad myself" his sharp eyes penetrated the mask and send shivers down violets spine.

"do you even know how special halflings are?"

he asked rhetorically.

"I know that they are hard to be made and that they are sins to many races, but I see it that they are cursed and not blessed" she answered as she gently moved a finger down Arthur's mask.

"halflings are special, first they are rare and hard to be made and most of them are known to born with disabilities, some say this is for their sins, but I say it is god being fair, the queen have found out that halflings have a rare phenomenon where they are blessed with two gifts.." violet placed her hand to her mouth in shock after hearing these words from Arthur.

"but how?" she asked as she was in shock.

"as I said it is rare, thier is only a one in a hundred chance of this happening, but even if they do not have this rare occurrence they would definitely have a gift capable of world devastation, the queen wish to capture all halflings to strengthen her kingdom" arthur then got up forcing violet off of him and headed to the opening of the room.

violet had a face of confusion "but if they are so blessed why are their no halfling knights" she mumbled as she was confused, halflings were around for centuries as many fall in love with other races.

"because this world most hold its secrets" arthur mumbled as he looked out into the distance
