Locke Family 21

Rendell was killed by a student named Sam Lesser,it something no one foresaw and even Nina was shot during the altercation.Just two months after the incident,Nina decided to return to Locke family family home which was in Matheson as per Rendell's instructions.

Nina was driving the family to Matheson Chicago,as she someone waving at them with board saying Locke family as Tyler questioned"Do we know him?"

Nina recognized the person and said"That is Hadrian he is distant relative of the Locke family,it seems Duncan must have send him so we don't have to miss directions."

Kinsey was blonde hair with brown eyes,while Tyler was athletic boy with blonde hair and Bode was little kid with brown hair.

Kinsey was the one to notice Hadrian's eyes,which were enchanting green eyes.She was sure she felt some sort of tug in her heart,but shook it off as Nina gestured Hadrian to get inside as Hadrian did just that and sat next to Bode in backseat.

Nina smiled at Hadrian and said"It's so nice of you wait for us here,Hadrian."

Hadrian waved it off and said"It's a small thing,I am after all living at the Locke household,so I should do something."

Nina had heard from Duncan,how Hadrian was living at the Locke household as his parents passed away and had nowhere to stay,she was okay with it and Duncan did say Hadrian was great helper and solid cook.

Bode was smiling at Hadrian and asked"Your eyes looked like they were almost glowing."

Hadrian chuckled ans replied"Is that so."

While both of them were making small talk,Kinsey was curious about Hadrian decided to ask"So are you going to Lovecraft Academy."

Hadrian nodded and replied"I enrolled their too."

Kinsey smiled as Tyler rolled his eyes as he noticed the looks her sister was giving the boy,but he didn't say anything and let it be.

Hadrian originally enrolled in the school for two reasons 1) because of the death of Rendell and Mark Cho,he had feeling something was up since most of keys were hidden by Rendell out of which Matchstick key was missing.

2) Because of Kinsey he had felt bond taking hold and knew then their this was the Locke girl mentioned by death.

Nina while driving questioned"Should we check out the town."

Bode was excited yelled"Cool then we should buy some ice cream."

Nina smile and agreed as Hadrian spoke"There is shop nearby."as he gestures to where it was Nina

sees the ice cream shop and decide to treat themselves.

The family goes into the shop where Kinsey approaches the counter to order. The clerk was classmate of Hadrian,it wasn't for him to recognize the look Scott have Kinsey as she looked around and said"Must've just missed the rush."

Scot Canvendish with smile replied"

Only pregnant women and masochists

crave ice cream in this weather."

Scot chuckles

as Kinsey ignored it,Scot seeing this added"I like your bracelet."

Hadrian didn't say anything as he was practically a stranger even if this girl was his soul mate.

Nina just hummed with smile replied

"Newcomers discount.That's very kind of you."

Kinsey with slight frown replied"We don't need charity."

Scot quickly tried to clear it up saying"It's hospitality."

Kinsey simply placed the money into the charity box nearby and went back to car a she asked"So everyone knows about us?

Hadrian nodded and replied"Yeah,the Locke family was pretty well known and even your father was also pretty famous.Also the news about his death was pretty known everyone."

Kinsey was a slightly sad,Hadrian seeing this apologized"Sorry,if I brought any bad memories."

Kinsey shook her head and schooled herself,while replying"It's okay,you were just answering the question."
