Chapter 28

Desperate to save his mother, Bode returns to the Well House and asks for Echo's help, questioning why she lied to him. Echo reveals that the key is actually the Mirror Key and can trap enemies within a perfect prison, but offers her assistance in return for the Anywhere Key.

Echo was none other than the demon who had possessed Lucas and was called back by Ellie.But like all other demons she couldn't exactly forcefully take away the key from the Locke family,so only method was to give the key themselves.

Bode sees no issue with this and trades her the Anywhere Key, however she simply uses the key to escape the Well House, leaving him alone. 

Bode seeing Echo disappear once again panicked,but as he was going to find something to help get his mother out that's when he saw Hadrian's car arriving,just behind him was Tyler.

Bode rushed inside into the house to see Hadrian,Kinsey and Tyler looking at him confusion,Bode worried said"Guys, help, it's Mom!

Kinsey didn't understand asked"What's the matter?"

Bode was really shook said"She went through my mirror!"

Hadrian understood what's going on asked"You found the mirror key?"

Bode saw Hadrian knew about rhe key nodded and replied"Yes,I used it by accident and now Mom is trapped in it."

Kinsey and Tyler hearing all this was confused as Tyler questioned"What do you mean?"

Hadrian ignored it and asked Bode"Where is she?"

Bode quickly showed Hadrian the Mirror,where Nina was tapped in as I'll show you! Come on!

Tyler saw his reflection moving on his own,it creeped him out as he muttered"What the hell?...That can't be real."

Tyler then heard her mom from inside it as he muttered"Mom?"

Nina was stuck in some sorry mirror prison could hear Tyler and replied"Tyler?"her voice was more like an echo.

Tyler now knew the sitaution is serious said"I have to go in."

Hadrian saying"No!" quickly stopped him and added"I will get her out going inside is suicide."

Hadrian looking at thr Mirror with his reflection beckoning him,as he held his hand out it glowed green as green glowing bands with various glowing runes appear and launches itself into the mirror,this bands were able to locate and capture Nina,as Hadrian was pulling her back.

Kinsey,Tyler and Bode who were shocked and stunned seeing this break away from their daze and tries to help Hadrian by pulling.It didn't take long as Nina was spit out from mirror dimension with shattering sound of mirror and everyone was on the floor.

All of them were panting and gasping

Hadrian asked everyone"Are you all right?"

Bode quickly goes and takes the key,which rattles out of lock

Tyler questioned"What the hell just happened?"

Bode answered"I told you,these keys are for real business.This house is full of magical keys."

Tyler exhales deeply and looking at his mom asked"Mom?Are you okay?"

Nina was dazed with smile simply replied"Fine. Fine!" and then added"Did you have fun at your party?"

Kinsey,Bode and Tyler were confused,while Hadrian knew the Riffel rule was taking effect as Tyler asked"The mirror?"

Nina simply walked to mirror and said"It's nice, right?Uh... It could use some polishing."

Bode not understanding yelled"Mom!You went through the mirror in there!And then you got lost inside!"

Tyler seriously said"He's not lying."

Bode added"You were just in there."

Nina who was in the Riffle effect completely ignoring anything related to magic questioned "What are we talking about?"

Kinsey answered"The mirror."

Hadrian quickly held Kinsey's hand and whispered"It won't work."which was heard by Tyler and Bode.They decided to ask Hadrian about everything after they mom was gone.

Nina then just laughs and says"Oh, right.We can get you one for your room, too.I'll add it to the list."
