Chapter 19

[A/N:I updated two chapters.I am rushing it since everyone wants to start the canon.]

Hadrian raised his hand, and before Marius could do anything to defend himself, before he could even move, he had been hit again by the Cruciatus curse. The pain was so intense, so all-consuming, that he no longer knew where he was... white-hot knives were piercing every inch of his skin, his head was surely going to burst with pain; he was screaming more loudly than he'd ever screamed in his life.

Hadrian with stoic face questioned"Are you going to tell me where the Book of Destiny and Blade of Chaos is?"

Marius after suffering such torture decided to give up"It is behind the wall to left."

While Marius was regretting at the fact he didn't keep the Blade of Chaos close,if he did he may have been able to escape.But the blade clouded his mind and made him go berserk,which was not something he wanted especially since that would lead to Dream attention.

Hadrian simply waves his hand as sand appears and covers him,no matter how much Marius screamed no one heard him.

Hadrian with blast ming curse destroyed the wall,on the other side was the Book of Destiny and Blade of Chaos.

Hadrian carefully took both of them and disapparated away from their.Just days later he would get the news about Mark and Jane Locke were killed in an accident,leaving behind two of their kids and it was said that no one stepped up to take care of the kids and those that did technically didn't have good intentions.So he was chosen to be their guardian in their will.

Hadrian sighed reading there letter,he quickly made his way to the Key house only to see some friends of Locke family talking to the boys,it looked like they were trying to convince them boys to come with them.

Hadrian had made himself look slightly older and yelled"Hey leave them alone."

Rendell and Duncan knew Hadrian slightly better compared to these strangers.Also their parents always told them to call Hadrian when they have any issues,so like any children they trusted their parents.

As they quickly ran into him,while Hadrian hugged them back slightly.He narrowed his eyes at the strangers and asked"Who are you?"

One of them decided retort"We should ask you the same question."

Hadrian frowned and replied"I am their guardian Hadrian Black cousin to Rendell and Duncan,I was told by the police to take care of my cousins, since some unsavory people tried to take advantage of them."

Among the strangers one of them knew this was not going to work as the person with fake smile said"Ohhh we were just looking after the boys."

Hadrian nodded and said"It's best if you leave,after all this is a private property."

These individuals are more or less friends of Mark and Lily, some of them had interest the wealth Locke family held.But their was some who were really kind and wanted to take care of the boys.

So the good ones stayed behind and talked to Hadrian for while and told him call them whenever he needed help.But the ones with some ill intentions quickly walked away from their,Hadrian now looked at the two Orphan's next to him and thought"I can't leave them alone after this."

Hadrian muttered"It seems drinking and moping is not an option."
