Chapter 16 (Plot twist 4)

"You refer me to him Jeorella? Are you serious?". My babe ask since he is talking to Jeorella who is very quiet here standing beside me. She look at Gab then she simply nods her head to say yes. "If that's the case then thank you. Thank you for doing that". Gab added that makes Jeorella smile a little.

"That is nothing. I just refer it to him so that he will have a nice place for his future business and I just thought of you that's why I refer you to him. Welcome for that". She said then she point out something. "I will go ahead. I'll just go ahead and smell fresh air outside. I'll leave you now. Sorry". She said. She look at me for a second before she turn around and move away.

"You know what Jeorella changed a lot". That guy said. He suddenly speak and we are startled and he caught our attention.

"What do you mean change?". I ask. He look at me and smile a little then he sigh.

"When she get there abroad ten years ago, she looks like she is carrying the problem of the world. She also kept saying the name Gab every time before. While she is eating and staring of something for an hour or sometimes when she is working. She look like a crazy woman before but good thing it changes when time pass by. I always ask her what happen or what is the problem but she just kept saying there is nothing to worry about so I just keep my mouth shut". He explain and when he is speaking I suddenly understand everything. I mean, I get his point. Jeorella got depression before. It really broke my heart because its hard to deal with depression.

"Babe. It's my fault". Gab suddenly speak then he get closer to me and he hug me so tight and i can feel how bad he is on himself. The guy look at me curious so I just smile at him and shake my head. I walk a little closer to sit on the couch while Gab is still hugging me. I look at him on his eyes before I speak.

"Babe, its not your fault. It's her choice to fall for you at the first place. It's not your obligation to give back the love she can give to you. Do you understand my point, huh? Do you know that you don't have a fault? Maybe it is just because her dad is sick back then and she is hurt because you don't love her and you choose me over her. But still, its not enough for you to blame yourself because of the hardships that she get when you said you don't love her. Please be mindful about that babe". I said then I touch his face slowly and hug him. I give him a soft kiss on his lips and smile at him sweetly. I also brush his hair using my fingers and he smell so good. I love this freaking man and I can't wait to marry him. He is everything to me.

"You need to enjoy tonight. That is what you've said earlier right? Then listen to yourself and go and drink with your friends. You organize this party so go ahead and had fun". I said then he look at me and he stand up. He wave his hand to me and he move away and I saw how happy he is when he saw his group of friends holding a hard liquor and I know someone will be wasted later and that is Gab. He loves drinking even though he is weak.

"Hey Noelle. Come here and lets talk about something". I heard Gianna call me so I get closer to them. Some of them are my classmates before in the university and they are here. All of them are successful too and I am so glad to see them like that.

"Hi. How's life". I ask them. They look at each other and laugh so I laugh too. I don't their topic but still, I do.

"There is nothing new. I am still single as fudge! I don't know why men don't like me". The other girl rant to me and to her friends. Gianna nudge her and she speak.

"How could people love you and talk to you when they are about to talk you will tell them like this, "sorry you are not my type. Look for a better girl that will love you, sorry". That is what you always telling, don't me". Gianna said then she roll her eyes. The one she is talking too look so stressed for looking a guy.

"you don't have to think about it. It is just nothing, okay? You will be married soon and love will find you don't worry!". I said then tap her shoulder twice just to bring her energy because she act like she is losing hope where in fact she is so beautiful that a lot of men will love her and chase her. Maybe she is the only one who don't like men.

"Okay okay, I won't chase them instead I will wait for the right time to get me and ask me if I can be his wife and I will answer absolutely yes! Can't wait to give my sweetest yes". She said then she look upstairs as if she is imaging the things when that time came.

I laugh at that because she is thinking too advanced. "First you will give your yes when you answer him if you will be his girlfriend. It will not be married as quick as you know". I said then laugh a little because I might sound sarcastic even though its not my attention to do so.

"I will excuse myself for now. Sorry. I will just get out and smell fresh air". I said then I went out and look for Jeorella. I saw her sitting on the floor as if she is not a model because she look so careless on her body. She is holding a beer and staring at something.

"Hey". I said that makes her startled. "Sorry I shocked you". I added.

"it's okay, why are you here? You supposed to be inside since you will be the bride". She said then she smirk at me. I know it's totally fake.

"I heard what you've done before. You got depression, don't you?". I ask her. She look so startled when I open that topic. Maybe she is confused why I know it.

"Why? Why did you know?". He ask me.

I laugh at that then I speak, "I don't have to say why I know it. Look Jeorella, I am sorry for what happened ten years ago. Sorry, I am really sorry". I said because i felt bad for myself because at some point I am the reason why she gets depression. I just want to say sorry.

"You don't have to say sorry. I just want to tell you by the way that congratulations. I will be there on your special day. Wishing you all the best. I already moved on about him. It's just all the heart aches I felt before came back when I saw him smiling and I know I am not the reason". She said then she did not stop herself from crying. She burst in tears.

I really felt bad for myself and for the things she experienced. I hope she will get well and she will find her true love as soon as possible so someone can cope up to her wounds on her heart.
