Doris's confrontation

Linda ignored her still crying. Doris went to her wrapped her hands round her shoulder saying "my dear you know you can always talk to me,tell me what is it". Linda looked at her crying" Doris I heard the biggest shock of my life ". Doris surprised said" biggest shock of your life?, what is it". Linda replied "I was on my own today and my departmental girl named Precious told me that there are rumors going on that I have a hand in Rita's and Betty's death, can you imagine" . Doris was a surprised and wondered why a student will say such evil "what,who did you say,said this to you"Doris ask again looking very angry . "one girl named Precious in my department" replied Linda. Doris stood up and said "no no no I don't mean the name I mean the surname". Linda looked at wondering what she wants to do with the name" Precious Roberts, why do you ask,what are you using it to do?". "you ask too many questions at the same time, leave it for me,you see that I will teach her a lesson today, yes I know am cool and also a church girl but when it comes to my loved ones,I am not cool there,how can a fellow student utter such evil in her mouth,I think I have heard enough of this rubbish, wait here am coming" Doris said and left. Linda was shocked at what she saw,so Doris can be mean nor act like this,she thought to herself "where are you going to". Doris ignored her and continued to were she was going to.

She went to the hall were Linda wrote her exam,it isn't the same hall,because she is not studying the same course with Linda, she is studying political science while Linda studied Law. when she reached there,she saw so many students rejoicing,she went and asked somebody's about Precious Roberts,the person directed her to were she was singing and jubilating with her friends. Doris went there and single handedly called her out. They went outside to talk.

" Precious why is it that, people like you can't mind there business, looking for trouble " . Precious looked at her surprised saying "what are you talking about,are you sure is my own precious or you are mistaken". Doris looked at her angrily" will you shut up that your gutter you call a mouth,are you not the person that opened that your useless mouth to tell my Friend Linda today that rumors has it that she killed her friends". " oh wait this is what this is all about, that is why you had to call me out from were I was having fun with my friends not only that,you insulted me as well,look at you, you came to support your friend, and you didn't even ask what happened and yet you see yourself as one who have sense " precious retorted back rudely. "what happened" Linda asked ignoring the insult, she wanted to know who was at fault first. Precious replied"we were preparing for our last paper when I saw her Moody and crying all by herself,I went to her and asked what the problem is,as a concerned course mate,she rudely told me to leave her only, after much persuasions to lure her back to the hall proved abortive I told her about the rumour I heard that is all ". Doris looked at her angrily" you are the one that doesn't have sense at all,you asked someone what the problem is and she refused telling you and you think telling her that rubbish rumor will help,look I only came here to warn you, I know what you said isn't a rumor, you said it and am sure most people have heard it because we all know you as a gossip, better desist from this act or else it will land you into trouble ". Doris said and was about leaving when precious said" oh please shut up,so our Almighty sister Doris is a fighter, you came to fight me". Doris smiled and said "me here to fight you,you must be joking, because you are too small for me,I won't fight you rather I will beat you up,that am a church girl that doesn't mean you should ride at my back nor my friend's back, do you understand". Precious laughed" look at you, you are not even ashamed of yourself, you are here to beat me up,can your friend deny it,friend of a murderer ". Precious was shocked" look you can say anything you want to say,but that won't make me to stop saying that your friend Linda has a hand in her friends death " she said and went back inside to join her friends as Doris ignored her. She entered and met Linda still lying down "Linda my dear how are you feeling". Linda replied her saying" am fine Doris were did you go to ".." where else if not to go and warn that useless precious". Linda stood up looking surprised "you did what, our Almighty sister Doris,you went to confront her" she said laughing
