The book of familiars 1 chapter 12

When night fail they decided to make camp i had them watching from north,east , south and west so they could see in every direction in a few hours they'll do a rotation so everyone will get some sleep, she'll stay up just to make sure everytings fine after half of second rotation Cai will take her spot.

Silvy comes over while holding a blanket as she sits down beside Sia throwing the blanket over both of their legs as she lays herhad on Sias shoulder going back to sleep.

Sia smiles at Silvy then she kisses the crown of her head.

" goodnight love " Sia said assh turns back to her book.

Sia opens the book Carra gave her to look over some dragons to see which ones she would want or maybe would want her, she was also told to study up on all the races and the history of the war.

Carra gave her a book that everyone reads In school, which she said only a third of it is true and hell shes read that in the school she went to so se dosen't want to rehash any of that. Shes known alot of demons to know that they are just like everyone else and could be good or evil depending on how they are.

she also knows about the terrifying beasts that would feed on all the races, attacking cities and killing anything tha moves were darker beings created from hate usually from a powerful demon.

who released them she'll never probably know who. not right now at least, but she also doesn't know why and to what the person went through that created such vile creatures.

The other scroll that she gave her was a scroll that had the truth of what really happened and who started the war, but her nerves told her that she wasn't ready for it just yet. She decided that the familiars and races will be what she'll look into right now until they were settled in better.

The first book is on the dragon types you are more likely to encounter.

European Dragons. These are the dragons we grew up with. The ones from the Bible, the ones who fought Sleeping Beauty's prince, the ones with a thing for gold. With four legs and wings. Greedy, aggressive, and majestic beings. Fire is their element.

Eastern Dragons. Called Lung or Long in Chinese, Ryo in Japanese, Yong in Korea, and Druk in Nepal. No wings but still able to fly. A creature associated with water, rain, and crops. More benevolent and lucky than its Western counterpart.

Drake dragons. Two legs, no wings. Sea serpent type of dragon. The Bible's Leviathan was a drake. Drakes prove dragons do not need to fly to be terrifying.

Wyverns. The British islands dragon with only two legs and wings. They can be of smaller size. These dragons are poisonous. Beware their tails.

Zmey dragons. The Russian or Slavic dragons are snakelike and have multiple heads. Like the Asian dragons, they are water elementals and are known to guard forests and lakes. They have horns like rams or deer. These dragons are shapeshifters and known to take human form.

Lindworms. These serpentine, creatures have scales and only two limbs at the front. The Vikings worshipped them. Fafnir, the dragon from the Ring of the Nibelungs was one.

Wyrms. The wyrms are sea serpents that resemble the lindworms and drakes. However, they have no limbs or scales. They can regenerate if hurt. Water is their element. They are ancient compared to other dragon races.

Amphitheres. Amphitere dragons are winged serpents, sometimes with feathery wings instead of the bat wings normal to most dragon types. They can control fire, ice, or both. No legs, long necks, and toothy mouths. The Mesoamerican Kukulcan (AKA Quetzalcoatl) and Yiuhcoatl are its most famous examples.

Frost dragons. These dragons are European dragons or a subclass of them who live in the Arctic or Antarctic areas. Similar to Europeans except they are adapted to the cold and control snow and ice instead of fire. Reputably hard to kill.

(' A frost dragon is one that we will all need and I would like to be able to give a dragon to silvy, I guess I'll have to speak on the matter with uncle Wei')

Dragonnets. These dragons are exactly like the European dragon except their size is smaller. They are human size or even smaller. Nevertheless, beware, a tiny dragon is still a dangerous dragon.

Well those are all I need to know right now I'll go back and read more about them, I'll mark this page and ten mark the ones I'd like to have. Well I hope he has the ones I'd want.

Sia closes the book as she picks up another one about all the races, as she presses flower in between some pages to preserve the flower. ill finish the others when go to the next campsite.

I close my eyes leaning my head on top of Silvys as I close my eyes after I start to fall asleep I can here faint talking where I'm a fairy my hearing is better than humans at least. I notice the slight slur in the voice.

(' dammit its Ron and hes been drinking ')

I wake up as I take part of the blanket putting it under Silvys heads I lean her head against the log. I walk over seeing Ron outside the barrier talking into the forest.

" Hey Ron get back in here" I say loudly as the other three guards look at me as I notice my birth quickly come out his tent.
