Chapter 43

A large beast that runs on all four legs halted in the the forest sniffing the air, its milky translucent skin showed all the blue veins that ran through its body. The beast was sickly looking with it's long length but it wasnt that wide, it had a tail that was half the length of its 26ft body that at its end was flat with a sharp point. The large mouth had tusks coming from its bottom jaw with long sharp crooked teeth and sickly looking pink eyes, the creature would run at large speeds weaving its body through them without knocking a single one down.

Flynn watched the abomination reconstruct it's own bones after running for a while, it sits down resting curling around it's own self.

(' priestess he has sent an abomination heading in the direction of Lillians daughter') Flynn said through a mind link to Priestess Fina while he watched the beast from his shadow pockets to not alert the thing.

Tai has been running through the dark forest for a couple of hours, she takes a break looking at the map her uncle Wei gave her an her eyes kept going to the marshes.

" I've never been to an area like that before I hear some fantastic beasts come from there" Tai said while leaping up onto a branch running along the tree tops through the dark forest. After running for six more hours she takes a seat up on a branch laying her back against the trunk of the tree dangling her legs over.

(' should be about another hour or two until I enter the marshes') Tai thought while eating an apple while looking at the map, dozens of colorful birds squawk above her while flying from the East side of the forest. When she stared toward the East a sickening feeling enveloped her, she slowly stood on her feet shaking her head no and continued her way to the marshes.

(' nope do not have a good feeling and I have a job to do and have to be back at noon tomorrow') Tai thought while she watched the land slowly change, while sunlight was streaming to the forest ground lighting up more areas here than the area she came from and more vegetation covered the area. Water holes were all around with thousands of different birds littered the area, she looked at one bird who was as tall as he standing on two stick like legs with light grey feathers and a long thin pointed beak.

The bird was striking the water with its beak eating fish from the water, a large splash came up beside the bird showing a beast that looked similar to a crocodile jump out at the bird catching it between its jaw dragging it back in the water. The thing had dozens of horns that came to a point covering its head all the way down it's back to its tail that was rounded at the end covered in sharp spikes.

" eh I better be careful here" Tai whispered out loud to herself, staring over at the beast chewing the bird up in its mouth.

" indeed you do need to be careful here and everywhere" a sultry female voice said

" tell me about it" Tai replyed but then froze where she was standing and slowly turned to see who answered. When she turned around she seen a beautiful dark elf with midnight colored hair with a streak of silver in her hair, adorned in a black dress with gold jewelry around her neck and forearms with piercing yellow eyes. The dark elf also had a crown of black wood with inch long thorns digging into her skin that caused her to bleed.

Tai reached her hand up to the crown wanting to remove it, her stomach was flipping making her feel sick seeing this woman being hurt and she also noticed the same feeling she has had with the other women but this was much stronger than the others.

The woman grabs her hand gently to stop her from touching the crown and holds Tais hand to her cheek with a sad smile.

" your not strong enough yet to do this" the woman said while kissing Tais knuckles and then stares toward the East.

" my name is Fina I am the dark elf Priestess and I already know who you are my love" Fina said while pulling Tai closer to her and jumping down to the ground.

" follow me there is over two dozen boar this way and after that I'll show you where some golden deer are grazing at" Fina said while pulling Tai along with her.

Thirty minutes later she brought Tai to where the boar were indeed lounging, Tai pulled her bow and arrows out to fire when 24 arrows had black smoke whisping around them all shot out at once and one arrow hit each boar instantly killing them.

" there is twice as many now and they are fire boars they have special properties to help with fire affinity" Fina said while Tai looked from the boars then to Fina going back and forth.

Fina pulled out a red jade storage ring storing all the boar, then hands Tai her arrows back and they continue walking further though the Marsh.

" will you be coming back with me" Tai asked while taking Finas hand into her own and smiles sweetly at her.

" I can't be with you yet, when you become stronger is the only way i can finally be with you" Fina said with a frown, the crown started wiggling and the thorns grew a little And Tai quickly tries to grab it from her head again.

" please do not touch it, it's made from the demon tree it'll effect your mind and soul, breaking you" Fina said while blood trickled down her cheeks and she gave Tai a reassuring smile.
