Oakheart was always a beautiful and peaceful town, even 25 years ago, it was already bustling with activity, just like it is today.
Back then, I was just a little boy. I had a small and scrawny body, and without parents, which meant I didn't have any kids to be friends with, except for one girl who was kind and cheerful, she always greeting me and striking up a conversation with me.
As a kid, I would often sit behind the adventurer guild building in the mornings, watching the adventurers train on the training grounds from a distance, hoping that one day when I grew up, I could become one of them.
Suddenly, a girl popped her head out from the side of the building. She had curly brown hair and wore rounded glasses that made her face look even cuter.
"Reychard, there you are. I knew you'd be here," she said with a cheerful giggle as she sat down next to me.
