Aunt Yu has been keeping eye on the situation for a long time, she knew that now that the rain has stopped for so long it won't take long for the flood to descend as well. She has been having a lot of trouble with the villagers eyeing her like she was a woman with the heart of a devil, she was human, of course, she would be worried about her life and she was the one who was in charge of taking care of the family as well, what was wrong with her thinking for herself?
Her mother was now a bag of old bones, if she got swept away or died out of sickness, she was there to stand up and take care of the house but if she was swept away by the flood then who would have taken care of their family?
