Guardian in Orario (up for adoption)

This has a similar setting as my first book. Izuku died and reincarnated as a baby. The world the baby was born in a very cruel and twisted. After adapting to the world and gaining strength beyond what others could even dream of, he died. Now, on his third life, his cheat, the golden finger, came in late. In a world of monster, magic, and gods, he decided he will be at the top. I do not own Danmachi, I do not own anything but the plot and OCs. Do not expect anything grand or the like, I am just doing this for fun, everything I type is just things that come to my mind, so it will probably not be consistent or very good, if you hate systems, reincarnation, OP characters, or just a jackass of a main character who doesn’t really care about the lives and deaths of others, this isn’t the book for you, I hope you find a book or fanfic you like.

Chapter 5

After the people ate the food they started do work, mostly farm work and other smaller minor tasks. Some people gathered food from the forest, others started to craft things with what they had. Some started to clear the land.

Right now, no one really tried to make money, that was because, all the wealth would go to the lord and he would in turned protect them and try to make their life better. Unlike other nobles, who would want them to make money that they would race the hell out of. Author would rather everyone do other productive things.

Other peasants made money because they needed to pay taxes, pay for food, clothing and other stuff, while here, they were provided to the people. So they spent the entire day working for Author.

They worked well. His village was growing quite well, but the problem is that the rate at which this was going was going to starve everyone. Luckily Author used his food card and had produced a hundred loaves of bread.

[ Quest: Invasion

Introduction: A group lies in wait, they wish for the death of you and your group.

Reward: Market ]

"What the hell." He said to himself. He was being invaded, again. Never in his past world did he have to deal with two invasions hand in hand.

He used his magic and casted Third Eye. He looked around the forest. Checking every nook and cranny. He then saw a group of bandits. At least they look like bandits.

With brown clothe covering leather and iron scale armor. On their waist were swords and on their backs were shields. They were slightly muscular, having a few scars on their bodies. To most people in this world their looks would bring fear.

But they looked like children to Author who has been through dozens wars. And to the people of Domana they would look like normal people.

The bandits just stayed a few kilometers away from the village. They moved around but always made sure to stay a certain distance away from the village. He knew full well these bandits were going to be the invaders.

He just allowed them to move around for the next few hours as the others tended the fields. The guards, they patrolled the area.

Once the sun had set and the night and moon has risen. The bandits started to move. Their movements were sloppy, slow, and inefficient. Trying to move towards the village sneakily. Well, to Author, they were not sneaky. They were just clowns trying to play assassin.

The twenty bandits moved towards the village. But Author was well prepared, he had already warned the conscripts of the enemies that would come.

Not only the conscripts but the peasants as well. After that, he also casted a spell on them. Stone Skin, a spell that covered the body of the effected person in an aura that protected them from five strikes. It is said that the aura is as hard as stone, thus the name.

This would guarantee that no one would get injured. Under normal circumstances, they wouldn't even need the blessing, in fact, they could kill all of them even if all of them only used their right arm. But he also ordered for them to capture them alive.

Although the bandits looked like normal bandits that wander the land, they in fact were not. They moved with a style or technique. This they were trained by someone. And from their movements, the technique was just barely third class in his past world, but is quite good in this world.

Maybe equal to the knights of a viscount or count. Less than a marquees or duke, but still a formidable force to a small baron.

The conscripts lied in wait, hiding in the alleyways of the village. The peasants hid in the houses of the village, looking out the windows.

The twenty bandits climbed over the walls. They landed on the ground and made a small thump. Normal people wouldn't be able to hear the noise, but if Domana Peasants and Conscripts couldn't hear this, they would be six feet under.

The bandits waited for the others to get in. They all got in. Once they did, they started to whisper to each other.

"Half of us will go after the kid, the other half will raid the storage and burn the rest."

"Who will be part of the half?"

"Is half even necessary, a sleeping kid, even two of us would be too much."

"Don't forget he is quite talented in swordsmanship, if he were to wake up and have a sword nearby, then you might fail, this would anger the lord."

"Very well, half it will be."

The group divided into two. One of them started to dash towards the village chief's house. The other went towards the storage.

The conscripts also dashed, right behind them. They were much more silent and quiet than they were. Five after each group.

For the people after the storage, they charged forward. But suddenly darkness slammed into their face as pain filled their minds. They collapsed to the ground unconscious, their bodies twitched. They were tied up, then their bodies were dragged away.

The other group, they were dashing when suddenly half of them disappeared. Unable to even scream for help. The other five did not notice the other half disappearing, they just continued to run.

They made it to the chief's house when they too disappeared suddenly, their mouths were covered and their throats were being blocked. They couldn't breath. They slowly became unconscious as oxygen stopped flowing into their brains.

They were also tied up and dragged away. Author who was awake collected his rewards.

[ Quest: Invasion is complete

Reward: Market ]

He tried to place the market down, but he found no, transparent buildings or stalls. If anything, 'system, I will place the market down.' He said, he had a feeling as to why there were no transparent structures.

There were no building cards or any 'building' in anyway. It was likely because the market, is more of a designated area. Not a building. At least in ancient times.

After that, Author just started to go to sleep. He lied down on the bed and let his consciousness drift away.
