Familiar box

The Happy puppet picked up the jewel box and observed it with its eyes. From what it could see, there was nothing too special about it. There was only a very pungent and bloody smell coming out of the box.

The White Canzer, on the other hand, looked at the jewel box and felt as if it were familiar. She felt like she had seen that particular box before, but she couldn't remember it.

This was a testament to her selfishness.

Even though the Huntsman did her a favor and released her from being hunted, she didn't even remember him at all. He was simply just a blimp in her memory, nothing more than a little pebble on the road.

It was a fact that she didn't appreciate the Huntsman's kindness enough. If she did, then she would have remembered that he used that jewel box as a decoy for her heart.

The Huntsman was haunted by her for the rest of his life, yet she didn't even register in her memory.
