The Fall of a Myth

Fire spread around the building burning in its orange and red colors filling the dark sky with its warm embrace. I sat on my knees as tears rode down my face, not a smile on my face but a frustrated and angered frown. Ash sat in my hands that were as dark as my hair, the white walls now painted with the scorch of the fire that made my red eye seem like nothing. my other eye bleeding as if like tears dripping down from it as there was nothing more in the empty socket of an eye hole.

The flames seemed to rise so did my sadness as tears covered the floor. I couldn't move let alone think I knew this was the end of me, the end of my heart. Lab chambers fell in the flames as well as the roof. I was to broken to move, to broken to even know what was going on. I lost something, Some people, no I lost everything. The lab, my family, my love, my life. a shadow figure came into the flame that was now unstoppable for water to dispell.

The figure picked me up gently to carry me out, seeing as I was to much in shock to even think of that. Once out of the wreckage I could partly see the head of the figure, Long Brownish hair and a bandana over the eyes. Judging by where the figure held me I knew it was a woman. I took one last look at the fire as tears and blood still poured out of me. "Wake up" a voice said. I looked at the woman to see if it was her.

"WAKE UP GRIM" I awoken from another memory dream as I fall face first onto the floor. standing above me was a Young girl with red hair and wearing casual clothes as she had soft Brown eyes and was kinda tall for her age. I opened both of my eyes again as I checked my face a bit, Two eyes, Curly hair, Yeah still a teenager. I looked up at the Girl who was standing over me as if to try and help me up, I tried not to look under her skirt and grabbed her hand. I looked back into her eyes after I got up "Kitty you need to start wearing pants or at least try to hide your underwear" I said looking to the side a bit.

She smiled and looked at me getting closer "but why would I do that? I have entrusted you with everything, if you wish to do something you need only say so" she said with a serious but flirty tone. I sighed putting my hand behind my neck "yeah I know I just don't like to do that without knowing you want to or at least are OK with it" I sighed out looking down slightly. She smiled a bit and walked out of my room "thats why I love you do much Master. your clothes are on your desk and your food is ready." she went out to the living room as I went ahead and got dressed. She's always been like that, ever since I saved her and she gave me her life, even the teasing part. Kitty, thats the name she gave to herself since she hated the one her parents gave her. That followed with a tradition I guess since I did that with mine tho it wasn't the name I hated it was the fact that it wasn't mine.

My name itself is Grim, but people call me another name so I decided to make everyone call me Grim instead, Kitty and the other household did the same. Kitty is my head maid, and the first girl ive ever saved. Sapphire is the second with short black hair, is shorter in height and always roughs up others, She's my Gardener. Yuno is next with long black hair and taller then Kitty by just a few inches, she's the cook. Lastly the Butler is Xion, I can't say much about her since she's gone out to train some more, but last I saw her she had beautiful blue eyes. Thats my household of girls with me in the center of it.

I looked in the mirror as my eyes were brown and my hair was jet black, only to wash off my sheepish face. The girls are all in love with me, and they also hate everyone else, except each other. I think it works out since its never been a problem for as long as we have all been together. "Grim your foods getting cold" I hear Yuno shouting down the hall as she grew impatient. I walked over to the kitchen and gave her a kiss on the head, "Sorry still waking up" I said sitting down to a bacon and egg breakfast.

Sapphire came up and leaned on the counter with a piece of toast in her mouth, "Same dream then?" she said muffled by her toast. I began to eat as Kitty leaned on the door listening, "Isn't it always, you can't escape your past once you are reborn. Its the cost of immortality" I said finishing up my bacon first. They all came over and gave me a group hug which was slightly unsettling since I was sitting and they were standing, "Were here to suffer with you, forever" Kitty said with a smile. I finished my eggs barely and smiled a bit " I'll never understand you girls" I said trying to get up. we laughed a bit and grabbed our book bags and headed out to the High School.

This was my life, but it was only The beginning as our life had a lot more then just a normal start.
