Group Of Eight

Chojusen stopped his reckless massacre when he noticed some powerful contenders appear from the enemy forces.

The Hidden Mist had the Fourth Mizukage who was also the Three-Tails Jinchuriki and the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist. The Hidden Stone had the Third Tsuchikage, Onoki of the famous Dust Release. And the Hidden Cloud had the most impressive line up, consisting of the Fourth Raikage A, his brother, the Eight-Tails Jinchuriki, Killer B, and the Two-Tails Jinchuriki, Yugito Nii. The Hidden Stone and Hidden Cloud ninjas were also supported by some bloodline limit clans.

The Hidden Leaf's powerhouses consisted of first Four Hokages, the pervert Sage, two perfect Jinchurikis, Ino, Karin, and Chojusen. They were supported heavily by the Uchiha and Hyuga Clans. And the icing on top was Rasa the Fourth Kazekage. Also, from the Hidden Mist's side a group of "traitors" defected to join the Hidden Leaf's side.

The divergent group was led by Mei Terumi of the Lava and Boil Release. Now, like any reasonable person, Minato didn't immediately count the divergent group as allies; if saying you were an ally was all it took for him to believe in them, the Hidden Leaf would not have survived all this time. But, he was more or less convinced after they started fighting against the Hidden Mists army and helped a bit on the two other fronts.

[Chain Mission Alert~

All the cannon fodder from both sides of this war knew how to take a hint and left the main battlefield open for the powerhouses to duke it out. A small bit of time passed before Chojusen elected to start talking to his enemies. He said "You've already started an invasion, but it's not too late to go back..."

Onoki was annoyed that a brat who didn't look a day over eighteen dared to disrespect him with a warning, he said "Huh? And who are you to tell us what to do?"

"Who am I? I'm Chojusen Akimichi… If I were you I'd take a good look at the current situation. You see how none of the powerhouses on my side have said anything? Would you believe me if I told you it's because I'm stronger than all of them put together and I can destroy all three of your armies before you could react?"

Chojusen's words were a direct taunt to not only Onoki, but the allied army made of the Hidden Cloud, Hidden Mist, and Hidden Stone ninjas. Onoki deeply wanted to retort and curse Chojusen to hell, but his sagely old mind calmed him down. He looked behind Chojusen and found all the important people slowly nod their heads at Chojusen's words.

The other enemy Kages did the same and began to take Chojusen's words seriously. But then, Onoki spotted a man with long hair and traditional red armor and he couldn't help but say "Senju? Harashima!" he then say a white-haired man with blue and white armor and said "T-Tobirama Senju!!!"

"Impossible! They have been dead for decades now!" Onoki shouted. He was on the verge of a mental breakdown. Unfortunately, he thought that this was a bluff on Chojusen's side, and he said "Trying to bluff me with a transformation technique?! Try Me!"

He then flew over to Chojusen's side and tried to disintegrate him with his Dust Release. Chojusen was covered in a cube of light and marvelled at all the cool techniques he had the pleasure of seeing today. Chojusen might have decided to teleport out of the disintegration field or used his void cloak, but Onoki was not using law principles, so the attack would barely even scratch him.

As Onoki watched Chojusen smile even while, being inside his disintegration field, his spine shivered and his instincts screamed at him to get away. The attack was completed and the ground below Chojusen was vaporized into dust. But Chojusen stayed standing on the air, where the ground should have been.

He looked at Onoki with a grin and said "You didn't acknowledge my warning… So have a taste of your own technique."

Chojusen manipulated his energy to vibrate the law principles of fire, wind, and earth, but then he added a twist and incorporated destruction laws. The result was an attack similar to Onoki's but it didn't telegraph its effective range with light. Onoki didn't just crumble into dust, in the same manner his technique worked… No, Chojusen turned him into dust and the dust was casted out into space, out of the void, out of… reality.

Chojusen turned back to the other enemy powerhouses and said "So? Do you guys want to try me now?"

Even while being separated by hundreds of meters, all the powerhouse on the enemy side were visibly shaking after Chojusen's move. It wasn't exactly flashy, but its power was felt by all those who watched.

Chain Mission

To Chojusen's surprise a response came, but not from Allied Army he was facing. Rather, a group of eight individuals wearing black cloaks with red clouds on them — like Orochimaru — appeared before Chojusen. They came out of thin air, or more specifically, a rotating space technique allowed them to come out of thin air.

Chojusen immediately recalled this swirling space and said "Obito? You're finally back for revenge huh?"

"You! You are the one who ruined my plans!" Obito said, he no longer had his faced hidden by a tiger striped mask.

Because of Chojusen intervening in his attack on the Hidden Leaf more than a decade ago, he was forced to tell Nagato that the truth about his identity. After Nagato found out that he had almost been led on like a dog, he naturally grew untrustworthy of Obito. It took Obito a while to convince Nagato to continue following his plans, but the result was that the plan had to start earlier than expected.

Now, the Akatsuki were only missing the Nine-Tails, Eight-Tails, Three-Tails, Two-Tails, and One-Tails Chakra to summon the Jubi and bring about "world peace." By moving some metaphorical strings, Obito arranged for this war to take place after Orochimaru failed to convince the Hidden Sand to invade the Hidden Leaf.

With Obito's permission, Orochimaru first convinced Onoki to be a part of the allied army he was creating; having the Fourth Mizukage completely under Obito's control help immensely in convincing Onoki. With Onoki and the Fourth Mizukage, the remaining Raikage, didn't have to think much to be a part of this allied army; he didn't have much to lose, as his village was already on bad terms with the Hidden Leaf.

Now all the remaining Jinchurikis were in one place and the Plan to revive the Jubi would not have to wait much longer.

Chojusen retorted "Yeah?! What about your dumb plans? I still don't know why you turn out like this… You were a good ninja from what I've heard. Kakashi, Minato, Kushina, pretty much everyone that has told me about you were proud of you for being a valiant ninja that died while protecting his two teammates. Where did it all go wrong?"

Obito was almost crying as he said "Where did It all go wrong? Why don't you ask that friend-killer Kakashi! I saw with my own eyes how he killed… He killed Rin with no mercy!"

Kakashi butted in "She killed herself to protect the village!"

"Bullshit! I saw you pierce her heart with your lightning blade!"

Chojusen said "Oh? So if I bring her back to explain herself you'll stop trying to fight us?"

"What? Bring her back? You want to desecrate her body by using a broken technique like Reanimation?" Obito's eyes were almost shooting fire at this point.

"No. Even I agree that the Reanimation summoning is trash. I'll give her a real body, she will truly be reborn. All I need is something to that has her chakra signature or DNA."

Kakashi took a forehead protector out of his ninja pouch and tossed it over to Chojusen. Chojusen had already shown some rather absurd tricks, Kakashi just hoped that Chojusen could pull of a real reincarnation like he said; the fact the the first two Hokages were standing next him, gave him a bit of confidence in Chojusen.

Chojusen used his Origin Detection to synchronize his chaos law principles with the energy signature in the forehead protector. He then tore open a hole in the void and pulled out a small soul; it was his first time taking a soul from the pure world, so even he was shocked by the sight of the void splitting.

With Rin's soul in his hand, he recreated her body with Yin-Yang Recreation, and simultaneously created some clothes for her with his Armament Creation Skill. Chojusen did both Kakashi and Obito a favor and "matured" Rin's body; he thought they would appreciate it if they met with a Rin that looked to be about their age.

Reincarnation wasn't exactly an instant process, but it didn't take too long either. In about two or three minutes, Rin was reincarnated. She looked around, and the first thing she did was tackle Obito. She said "Obito is that really you? I thought you died!"

Apparently, she had forgotten that she herself had died, and the context of being surrounded by all these powerful ninjas didn't faze her. Obito pulled her away from him and said "It really is you." he openly weep in front of everyone as he keep stretching and pulling Rin's skin to make sure she was truly alive.

As Chojusen pulled what could only be described as a divine act, "Pain," or Yahiko's corpse, which was controlled by Nagato said "Oh, another god?"
