Hands From the Grave.

A long and slow week had gone by since the time I had told Khedes to pierce my stomach and took an extreme approach to a situation that I didn't think all the way through.

Shura stayed by my side for the entire week I was in recovery as she said that she would rather make sure I made a full recovery while also making sure that I didn't do anything stupid.

During the entire time Shura was by my side I told her everything about who I was while also telling her everything about Vlada, everything. She cried when I started to tell everything Vlada told me while saying that if I ever broke Vladas heart she would rip my own heart out and feed it to me. I agreed with her saying that I would even bring my own seasonings.

Shura also told me everything that happened when she was out and about when she was dealing with the Vampires of the Kingdom.

Turns out that every single Vampire Clan, House, or Sect seemed to be extremely interested in the Susceptors Nox liquor that Shura had offered them as many of them tried to forcibly take them from her while promising that she would be back to make their bloodline extinct. But for every single one that was amicable she sold a few of the bottles at an extravagant price which they paid.

I also told Shura that when I had the strength that I would bury every single fanged prick that tried to harm her which made her smile as she said she would be right by my side as she enjoyed the bloodbath.

I had told Khedes to train himself and his skills as I recovered so that he would be able to try and increase his strength and familiarity with them. Yet every time the sun went down he would always return and stand guard by my side for the entire week to make sure nothing would get close to me.

Ulrich on the other hand laughed when I told him what happened as he thought it was the funniest and stupidest thing that he had ever heard. But when Shura was about to rip his throat out he started singing another tune, saying it was the smartest thing anyone has done and went on and on about how he would tell the entire world of the decision that I made.

Yet during the entire time I was recovering Ulrich also kept his promise as he started to teach me his special technique. But when I brought up that I still needed to recover to even learn the technique he started to laugh as he said he was trying to look like a serious and caring master which only earned him a very well timed liver punch from Shura as she didn't think it was

But when Ulrich started to explain and go into detail about his telekinesis technique Hands from the Grave the more I started to understand why even the King decided to turn it down, but also saw why he desperately wanted it at the same time.

In order to properly learn Hands from the Grave you needed to give up all but one of all the forms of magic you are able to have in exchange for a form of magic that was exclusive to this technique that was called Soul Grave.

Soul Grave was a form of magic that took the power and strength from the grave and soul of the buried and the more it was mastered the more terrifying it became.

It was the biggest reason why Ulrich was able to mess with those who were so much stronger than him as he was a Keeper of the Grave. Every grave in his Domain helped to increase the strength of Hands from the Grave, but at an extreme cost.

For every corpse that was under the Rank: General would slowly turn to nothingness until you lost the increase of strength from them while also losing some of your own. Yet for every corpse that was above Rank: Warlord would remain and never go away while also giving you benefits from them.

"Just be smart when you use the technique Bastion. Don't be like me and lose yourself in the power it can give you as it's a sword that has been sharpened to an extreme degree yet fragile. Plus it'll take a long time in order to properly master Hands from the Grave as even I have only reached about seventy percent mastery of this technique." Ulrich said as he gave me an ancient looking book saying that it was the only one in existence.

He also said that I should give it time and truly think about learning the technique as if I learn this technique I would no longer be able to learn any other technique.

I made sure to read the ancient looking book every day as I recovered even though I had the skill Photographic Memory, I couldn't seem to remember everything that I read. There were only parts that I was able to remember as it seemed like my own mind didn't want to remember it.

Shura even tried reading it, but the moment she tried she handed it back in thirty minutes saying that she couldn't even remember what she read ten minutes ago.

"Are you sure you want to learn this technique, Bastion? Even though from what Ulrich explained it is a terrifyingly powerful technique it cripples you from learning all the forms of magic possible to you." Shura asked as she watched me perform some squats.

"Yes, if anything I feel that this technique was tailor made just for me. Plus remember I still have the passive Thanks of the Buried that'll allow me to learn powerful skills. Don't get me wrong learning all those forms of magic sounds great but it is quite the distraction as your focus will be split." I said as I finished the set I was doing I gave Shura a lite kiss. "I'd rather face an opponent that decided to learn many forms rather than the one who mastered one."

Shura smiled as she nodded her head as she looked to be in deep thought as she started to gently run her finger up and down my chest.

"You know Bastion, it's been awhile since we shared our love for one another and the more I watch you the more tempted I am to just take you here and now." Shura spoke in a tempting manner as she pressed herself against me.

I smiled as I grabbed Shura's cheeks and lifted her as she wrapped her legs around my waist.

"You're one to talk. Do you have any idea how truly beautiful you are? If anything I still find it hard to believe that I can be so lucky to be with someone like you."

Shura's face turned red as a large smile formed on her face as she took my lips as I slowly brought her to a spot in the forest to lay her down at.

But, just as I laid Shura down a familiar voice yelled out in my head in excitement .
