He could tell that this was the first trial they would have to go through. Though not many were aware why it was that Overseers had picked out representatives like this, what they did know was that it was important and there were many prizes to be gained for their efforts.
This was all to say that this wasn't just any trial, but it was one they most definitely needed to pass. As a result, he thought that since he had so clearly challenged Ryu earlier that it would be clear that their competition would start here.
