Hide And Seek
As the man left the shadows, Tweek quickly rushed to Craig and shook him. "C-Craig!! C-CRAIG!! PLEASE PLEASE WAKE UP!!"
Ash quickly got up and ran to his aid and placed his ear against his chest hearing his heart beating still. "He didn't breath in the water so he isn't dead. He's still breathing but we don't have much time for him to not respond. Eric. Are you able to carry him?!" Ash asked while looking back at Eric as he quickly got out of his chair but instead of running to Craig, he bear hugged Ash.
Ash barely able to breath as he spoke up, "E-Eric... I'm okay.. we really need to get to Craig now."
Cartman taking in that Ash was alive and well, he grabbed Craig by the wrist and wrapped Craig's arms around his shoulders and carried Craig on his back.
"Are you going to be okay to run Eric?" Ash asked while placing his hand on his chest.
"I'll be fine. You two lead the way and I'll follow. We just need to find some shelter to hide." Eric stated.
"I know.. they said that they are going to look for us.. we need to search for a place and weapons to defend ourselves with." Ash said.
"GAH, a-aren't we surrounded by weapons right now?" Tweek stuttered.
This caused Ash and Catan to glance around in the shadows.
Leading their way out of the hell hole, they picked up a few weapons while they were on their way out the door. They would never forget the losses but right now, they had to survive for their friends they lost.
Cartman with a tight grasp on Craig's arms while Ash was keeping a look out ahead and Tweek was looking behind to make sure no one was following. Ash spotted a heavily boarded up building. It was clearly abandoned and ready to get broken down but it never happened. Ash waved Tweek toward him as the ripped off the board seeing a shattered window.
"What if theirs more inside?"
"I don't have a problem killing those fuckers." Cartman stated while walking up to the window and pulled out his cell phone and turned on his flashlight mode. Seeing the coast was clear he let the two boys ahead while he managed to get inside with Craig weighing him down a bit.
"Alright.. we need to pull this board back in place. ash can you help Tweek do that? I'll set Craig down and clear out this place." Cartman said while setting Craig against the wall.
"Yeah.. be careful Eric." Ash said while quickly going to the window with Tweek. As the two were placing the wood back on the window, Eric scouted out the area and made sure no crooks were hiding. Lucky for them there were none. Cartman breathed out in relief as he went back to the three.
"The building is clear. How's the window?"
"I think it'll hold. I'm just worried they will find us." Ash said while hiding his face in his hands. The building was pretty dark so the only light course was Eric's cell phone on flashlight mode.
Ash slide his back against the wall and fell on his bottom while crying in his hands. Cartman sat next to him as Tweek walked over to Craig to check on him.
"Eric.. I don't want to die.. I want that lie that me and you agreed on back in high school. I wanted to move in with you, get married, adopt a baby with you.. I.. I don't want to lose you Eric. Or any part of you of that matter." Ash said while looking up at Eric and grabbed his hand. "I love you so much it hurts know we can easily die any minute now. I..."
Eric squeezed Ash's hand and pulled him in toward him and smashed both their lips together as Eric's other hand went behind the smaller boy's head and deepened the kiss as if it might be there last. Ash was scared of dying and the thought of not having that future they desired, Eric however couldn't stop thinking about what he just witnessed. Attempted Rape, Ash being pulled by the hair, a boot to the face, nearly had his face in a bear trap, forced to eat Token's heart and seeing everything they just witnessed. Cartman knew that Ash wasn't okay. He was forever scarred as he wouldn't ever be the same and Eric knew it.
Pulling away from the kiss, Eric placed his forehead on Ash's, "I love you Ash, no matter what happens. I will always love you."
