Quickly

Manuel stood in the dim candle light in Lily's room, watching her as she slept. In his right hand, he held an injection which contained a knock-out drug. It was given to him by Father Francis.

In as much as he hesitated, he knew it had to be done quickly. As tears threatened to fall off his eyes, he quickly injected her. " Ouch" she yelled, opened her eyes and though the room was dim and her sight was blur, she could recognized her father's body structure. At that moment, Lily was able to hear her father's thought. She gasped in astonishment, then remember what her guidian demon said "... you'll know how painful prayers can be", that was the last conversation they had.

She tried to call within for her demon before she would pass out but there was no response. On the other end, Zaiah listened and watched Lily. He said to himself " Sorry Lily, but this is necessary to make you bolster. I'll help you when the time is right".

Soon after, Lily fell unconscious. Manuel picked her up in his arms and quietly took her out of the house. There was a bus-like vehicle waiting outside. Manuel rush towards it and placed Lily in the car. Father Francis stayed with Lily at the back passenger seat, while father Morgan and father Luis were at the front. They drove to Vatican, leaving Manuel behind. " Take care of my daughter, please " were Manuel's parting words.

Underneath Vatican, a group of pastors prepared the most secure room for the exorcism at the last ground floor. There was a small bed at the center of the room surrounded by chains on every side, they placed the crucifix on the four corners of the room. On the stool beside the bed, they placed a priest's rosary, a jar of holy water, the crucifix and a Bible. When they had finished preparing the room, they went up to the church.

They priest arrived with the girl and took her gently into the church and then down to the room, they secured her with the chains around the bed.

Before facing any battle, they would go for confession and since they didn't completely know what they were up against, the had to ensure the safety of everyone.

All priests and pastors gathered in they church. " Before the exorcism begins" the Bishop declared," Every person apart from those performing the exorcism are to evacuate the church premises. No one is allowed to come into the church once they've begin. They'll start by 12am midnight, the time now is 11:45pm so that means we have fifteen minutes to pray and secure the premises. Note this, even as we leave behind the exorcists, we are to pray continuously with them till the work is done. Let us pray".

Bishop: O Lord, hear my prayer.

Response: And let my cry come unto Thee.

Bishop: O Lord, have mercy upon us.

Response: Christ have mercy upon us.

Bishop: May the Lord be with thee.

R. And with thy spirit.

we humbly prostrate ourselves before Thy glorious Majesty

and we beseech Thee to deliver us by Thy power

from all the tyranny of the infernal spirits,

from their snares,

their lies and their furious wickedness.

Deign, O Lord,

to grant us Thy powerful protection

and to keep us safe and sound.

We beseech Thee through Jesus Christ Our Lord.
