GOT : The Kingdom beyond the Wall

Alexander, a name that once conquered the known world of its time. When I was born, my parents named me the same. And as my namesake, I will also leave my mark on the world, I will leave a legacy behind me, I will immortalize my name and I did. Who am I?

I am Alexander White. I was born on 30th April 1980, in New York, USA as a firstborn to an upper-class family. My father, Jonathan White, is a software developer and one who is very good at his job. He also delves a lot into the share market but his real interest lies in the tinkering of different gadgets. My mother, Sarah White, is a professor of Chemistry and she also loves cooking. Our house is a modest villa on the outskirts of the city. It has two floors with 5 bedrooms, hall, kitchen, swimming pool, garage, and a front lawn. My grandmother from my father's side also lives with us. She is a retired history teacher. Did I say that we have a huge library in our house? Books ranging from Computer Science to history, Programming languages to Science. Books on Languages, Cooking, Mythologies, Mathematics, fiction, Sci-Fi, Self Help and Share Trading were easily available. There were a lot of other books too. My favorite among them was always the to-do books. Books taught me how to do make new things or how to create something. Most of my time passed by reading different books. I loved reading, I could read almost anything but I was always fascinated with Fiction and Novels. My favorite among them was the Harry Potter series.

I was very weak since I was born. I could never run or play any sports. Any strenuous activity was out of the question, though I took long walks every evening. Truth to be said, I loved my evening walks. I usually took my pup ( Whom I have named Bruno ) to the park and jogged lightly. Bruno is highly intelligent and behaves rudely or agitatedly, which was the reason I was allowed to keep his company. Though my lack of physical strength was compromised by my highly active and powerful mental capability. I have an almost eidetic memory and an IQ of 190. I could process almost anything from Mathematical equations to Computer codes in a matter of seconds. I never had any problems in any subject. Knowledge came easily to me. I had a gift in linguistic and I learned several languages. I could appreciate a good novel at any time of the day.

Due to my conditions, my parents decided to home-school me. I readily accepted the decision as I was already ahead in all the subjects. I jumped several grades and graduated from high school at the tender age of 7. My name was all over the paper. I also learned how to play the piano and completed my certification in it too. I joined my mother's college for a double major in Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering. I took part in a lot of coding clubs, hacking clubs, etc. I finished my BS by the age of 11 and my MS in Computer Science by age 13. My parents had a daughter during this time. Her name is Hailey White. She is one of the most beautiful things in the world for me.

It was on my 13th birthday that the internet was released. It was the biggest breakthrough of the century. It was the first step to true freedom. I was in awe and entranced by it. The things that could be done. The opportunities it presented. The things that can be done and the wrongdoings that can be undone. I started devoting all my time to understanding and exploring it. For the next few months, I cut off myself from any communication with the outside world and worked upon several ideas I had.

My first plan was to create an internet mailing. A place from where instant messages and emails can be sent to someone. A fully protected and encrypted system.

The second was a search engine to find stuff on the internet. A place where people can find anything that has been uploaded on the net.

With the help of my parents, I started my own company – D.I.R.T ( Development, Innovation, and Research in Technology ) under White Enterprises. My ideas hit off and both the mailing system and search engine became a worldwide sensation within 2 years. We had huge investments and loans to establish our own headquarters. We also hired a lot of people. Many of them were my batchmates from college. We were making a killing. With the success of our products, we started making developments in them like video and audio platforms. We even started a platform especially for movies and TV shows. Another platform solely focused on Music and one for finding pictures.

All my ideas were booming and we were on the path to top10 companies in the world. We invested in cyber security and cloud storage. We worked on basically anything related to the internet.

When all of this became steady, I handed over the company to my parents and the board of directors.

My next plans led me all over the world. I started traveling at the age of 17. It was probably one of the best decisions of my life. First I visited the different states in the US. Grand Canyon of Arizona, the casinos of Los Angeles, and the beaches of Miami became just a name on my checklist. It was in Miami that I finally lost my virginity. From there I moved to Canada. I traveled on a private jet to Europe. In England, I saw Buckingham Palace and Big Ben. I started traveling to different countries in Europe. I tried different kinds of cuisines and explored varied cultures. I made it almost a habit to sleep with a girl at least from every country. I moved to Asia from there. Central Asian countries were unique. Then China and its wall, Russia and its vodka, Japan and its tea ceremonies, India and its Yoga and all the other South Asia Countries. I traveled to Gulf Countries from there and then to Cape of Good Hope. Then my journey took me all across Africa and its vast savannah. I went to Australia next and visited the aboriginals there. From there, I went to South America and traveled the whole Amazon. Finally, I came back to my family. I read a lot of books during my journey. I also watched a lot of movies and TV shows streamed by my company. The best which found was Game of Thrones, whose books were half a century old. We had to provide our own alternate ending for it.

During my journey, I had the idea of mapping the planet. After years of hard work, with the help of the space agency, we deployed several satellites and started mapping the different parts of the world. We also heavily invested in Mobile manufacturing and telecom networks. Satellite Internet became our next sensation.

Finally, at the age of 21, my body seemed too heavy and tired, even though I was lean and thin. I had the best doctors to take care of me but nothing seemed to work. The worst feeling was seeing the sad faces of my family. Especially, my little sister, she was also intelligent and she understood my situation. Simple activities like eating and shifting my body became a chore. Finally, after months of struggle, I was brought on life support. My sister cried for the first time and it broke my heart. At last on my birthday, I had my last breath. At least I had already bid farewell to everyone, even Bruno, who was also at the end of his life.

And, Here I am sitting in front of an old man who wants to give me another opportunity. A F**king second opportunity.
