55: The Arc Ends, the Storm Silences, but the Wounds Remain Fresh

"Wait, what the hell are you talking about, huh? At least ask your daughter first." Maria yells from her hologram. 

"First thing first, can't you stop Charles? You're his mother; how can you act like that?" Betty yells from the hologram,

"I know I can, but it's his choice to leave the throne; that's his right to freedom, and I can't bend the law myself!" Micelle says, "As for Maria, I have talked to my daughter. Your son was the only one who helped her with her emotional turmoil, and she got some hope. I'm not sure how long she wants to stay, but till she comes out of the stress, let her be with Void." Michelle says, muting everyone in the hologram.

"As for Shuri! Take care of my child. There's nothing big I can say anymore! As for you being a knight, you're fired from the post; you may have a chance to apply for being in another field, but I can't keep you in the knights' order; you're not made for that." Michelle's tone was serious; she was angry over Shuri, but as a mother, she can't force her child, even if she has to do so.

"Vivienne, you've not disappointed me or Allainette! You've disappointed your own people, and I know that you've been constantly proving your academics; you've been an ideal knight and you still are, but your selfish desires have blurred and made you betray your own blood, and goddess Earth will punish you right!" Michelle locks her gaze on Vivienne. 

"Samuel and Leonard, you both are the worst. Samuel, for you, I don't know what made you attracted to that girl, but know these: even if you've told my daughter you're not interested, she might've broken engagement without any fight."

Michelle turns her gaze from Vivienne to Samuel and locks. There was a silence, which was bringing shame to Samuel, making him aware of how he could've settled the mess and stopped the fight between the families.

"As for Leonard, at least have some shame. You tried seducing Vivienne like some slut! You're from an honored noble family, and this is what you're doing.? You both are fired from being knights! Moreover, all your achievements will be removed. Allainette has no need for such bastards." Michelle finally locks her gaze at Leonard, and as she finishes, she takes a little back on her throne. 

"Remember you four! Void is an exceptional talent that can only be seen once in centuries; he's the last blood of the Frost family. You're all left and kept alive because he's still walking the path of being righteous, and if he changes that path, remember that he'll become a threat to the world," she said, giving a murderous intent as she revealed the reason she favors Void and why it is important.

Saying that Michelle turns off her hologram after Maria, Fiola, and Betty leave; 

"Shuri… I think I made a big mistake by adopting you while rejecting the other girl, who was desperate. Maybe I was too blind to find a potential heir." Saying that Emelia turns off her Hologram.

As Betty turns off her hologram, and as she turns it off, Melesa, mother of Cassey, who was at her back, asks, "Why are you smiling, Betty?" after noticing a strange smile on Betty's face. 

"You knew this, huh? I guess, to get my hands on gold, I overlooked the mithril I had. Betty puts a hand on her face as she bursts into sinister laughter. That's when she gets a call from Rubianna. 

"Ruby, how are you, dear? Are your wounds alright, dear?" Betty switches her tone as she picks up the call of Rubianna, at which Melesa narrows her eyes, tweaking her one brow, while in her mind, "Just how weird this woman is...?" 

"Mother!!" Rubianna bursts into tears, holding her Magihone, the device that was like a phone but is now named as. "I..i..what should I do...now?" 

"I'm sorry, my Ruby; I myself wasn't able to bring your love back. Charles has descended from the throne; he's no longer part of the Allainette family, and her majesty herself is helpless in this matter!" Betty says, tears forming in her eyes too, as she looks at the state in which her only daughter is.

"I heard that from his highness!" Rubianna says she's still using the honorifics, which are no longer important. While they were at it, Rubianna realized her time for contacting Rubianna was ending.

"Listen, dear, I don't know. This will work, but please stay close to Void! Okay, my contact time is ending, okay! And Mother is there for you. You can rely on her." Betty gets out of the camera.

After ending the call, Rubianna turns around to talk with the fiancees of Void, Aoi, Arcane, Alfrin, Cassey, Luna, and a new member, Vannessa. Sitting on the couch while Void, who's visible through the microphone of Vannessa,.

"Yo, how's it going?" Void says, at which everyone gets on holomera except Vannessa and Rubianna.

"Void, how are you?" Aoi asks, who hardly got the chance to enjoy staying beside him, is again away from him.

"Master, how's your health?! Arcane is working hard; Arcane will get back," Arcane says, while tears come from her eyes. She was currently in her archane form because her body can no longer hide as she's growing stronger; her human body can't hold anymore.

"Ahh..! You're finally staying in your form. Hehe, it's good to see you like this." Void replies, and suddenly Alfrin comes in between.

"Sir. Void, I've recently reached Grand Elite; I'll be back soon, and I'm waiting for my reward!" Alfrin says, maintaining her demeanor.

"Good to hear that. You have come in your real form, hehe. I guess I'll have to talk with the heirs to send you the blood bags.!" Void says as her vampire fangs were out, while letting out a delighted chuckle.

"Void… Are you still angry over Vivienne?" Cassey asks, and at her question, everyone present in the room tweaks their brows in interest to hear void's reaction.

"Cassey… This is just a sibling thing, and I think it's better if you tell me the new necklace I gave you, whether you like it or not." Void asks at which cassey blushes hard enough to get bright red, while in Void's mind, "Honestly, in this world, a guy giving a necklace to a girl is considered a girl cooking for a guy—a dream, hehe." 

"I loved it. It was shocking that you knew my birthday, as I've never told anyone!" Cassey says, thinking Void got a divine message from Mother Nature, while in reality Void has made a memo where he has kept every single one of their birthdates.

"I see..! It's good to see you like it so much that you wore it while getting into duels or mock battles.!" At Void's revelation, Cassey starts getting flustered in her mind. 

"How is it happening? I thought he had no interest in us, but he's keeping a watch on us, trying his best to encourage all of us even though it's prohibited. He uses different ways and makes Meisheng and Anette come and talk with us! Ahh…! My love! Void, Void, Void!' 

Suddenly Luna snatches the Magiphone from all of them and says, "Void, I'm not getting a battle; can you arrange one? I want to come back and sit on your lap." Luna says, taking the magihone weird enough, that she was having a replicating hair clip like the one he gave to Cicely in the duel, but the only thing that's off is that Cicely's hair clip has the feature to shine when they get in contact with Void's presence, even if he's on call.

"Luna, do you want a hair clip too? I'm not allowed to make it right now, but as soon as I'm able to do that, I'll make one for you. Please don't wear a replica. It is consuming your mana to shine, and it's also making you not be able to fight properly." Void says this was serious, but there was concern for her as she was forcing her body to make that hair clip shine.

"But.." Luna says, but she stops midway as she looks into Void's eyes. "Okay, but it's a promise, okay?" Luna says, while tears form in her eyes, that even if she's too ahead compared to someone her age, she's still just 14 years old, and getting jealous over something is common.

"Don't cry, dear. I wouldn't have told you not to wear it, but it's consuming your mana..to shine..of course it doesn't have the same formula as me..i promise i'll make a unique special one for you only for you..now remove it." Void consoles her, at which Luna nods as a sign to agree. Vannessa pulls a microphone from her as she sees something weird.

"Void, who's in your room?" Vannessa asks that everyone present in Rubianna's room, even Rubianna, come on screen to see what is happening in Void's room.

"Yo brats!" Astrid comes beside Void, and with her, Cicely comes and sits on Void's lap. "What are you doing over there?" Everyone asks all together.

"Of course, taking care of my husband!" Astrid says, wrapping her arms around Void's neck, pressing her tender, masculine yet equally tender body, which made Void fluster.

"Void, what are you doing? Get away!" Vannessa yells at Void, "I can't move my hands according to the doctor, and nor am I allowed to move; she's just taking advantage of that." Void says, but his explanation remains incomplete as Astrid blows gently in Void's air, making him shiver wildly. His ears turned red. 

"Mhm… Have your time, ladies..till you reach here, I'll be having fun with my husband.." saying that Astrid wrapped Void in an intense kiss, pressing his head as if to explore every corner of his mouth; while they were at it, Vannessa broke her Magihone.

"I'm leaving that perverted woman!!!" Vannesssa leaves the room, rage filling her head as she leaves her mind. "I have to prove myself too! Void, don't worry, we have plenty of time as students have started to train more than engage in duels because of you! And I have time till your other fiancees come back.

"I'll make sure I hold a special place in your heart! Aside from that, I have to take care of you while you'll take care of me with each other's emotional turmoil."
