“What the hell?” Kiersten sat up in bed, no longer the least bit sleepy. She clicked the OK button, then hit Reload, her heart hammering as she waited.
The message popped up a second time. This wasn’t happening.
Throwing back her covers, she slipped off the bed and padded barefoot into the living room, where her MacBook still sat on the coffee table in front of the sofa. She opened the lid and quickly typed in her password, then opened Safari there. The website was still loaded on the screen because it had been the last page she’d visited the night before. But now when she clicked on the My Account link, the screen filled with ads for GoDaddy and a message across the top read, This domain has expired.
