Chapter 22

A Few Days Back

Emerson angrily walked out of his office to call somebody after throwing a hateful gaze at Jing who was standing there.

"That fatherless bastard! I'm so going to kill him once my son is born" Emerson murmured as he headed to his room, he walked in and saw his pregnant wife finishing up her makeup, there were a few attendants there, she looked up at him and smiled, Xiachan was a very beautiful lady and he had to admit it, he stared at her with a lovely smile, even with her baby bump she was still very beautiful and sexy at that, he had come into her life as a mere driver and now he was her husband, he at first only wanted to use her, to get things that her husband had.

Flashback

Emerson walked out of the convenience store with a pack of cigar, he was young and youthful, handsome and tall at that, he whistled as he headed to wherever his legs took him, he had a smile on his face, making him look extremely charming, he was about to cross the road when he saw a car that looked very expensive stop, at a corner of the street, he wanted to know who would bring such an expensive car into the poor environment.

He watched as Xiachan stepped out of the car, he had never seen such Chinese beauty, her face was so smooth bare and attractive, red and puffy she had just cried, she wore a jumpsuit with heels, as she locked the door, he watched her walk slowly to the convenience store he had just come out of, curiosity made him follow behind her.

"No cigar!" she yelled, as she slammed a pile of cash on the counter, he gasped when he saw the money, "do you have any now?" she asked. This was how big shots get their way around, she looked like one, she acted like one, his eyes immediately widened with greed, looking at the pack of cigarettes in his hand he smiled.

"ma'am really I wish we had" the lady was shaking at the tone and eyes of Xiachan, mostly what scared her was the snake tattoo on her neck, she looked innocent but was she really? she didn't know, but what she knew for a fact was that few days ago, some thugs who had the same tattoo had robbed the store and raped an old lady making her die.

"Gimme beer then" she said, the lady scurried off and got the beer handing it to her, she took it and turned walking away with the pile of cash on the counter, "ma'am your money" the girl said, "keep the change" she said with a hiss as she walked out, Emerson was beyond shocked, never had he seen so much money in his life, he immediately rushed after her, luckily she was on a bench drinking the beer, her face was more puffy and red, she looked tired.

Xiachan felt someone beside her, she raised her head to see a pack of cigarettes in the hand of an handsome American, she was confused, "um..here... I saw you really needed it at the convenience store, I had bought the last pack" he said with a smile, "oh" she said and collected it, opening her purse she brought out a bundle of money, "here" she said, "oh no" Emerson said as he sat beside her, "I don't want your money" he said with a smile, she looked at him and shrugged her shoulders as she lit one cigar and dragged the smoke exhaling with a look of satisfaction.

"You look tired and stressed" he commented, "don't I?" she asked with a smile, "what's wrong?" he asked, "nothing really just family issues" she said, "we get alot, I've been roaming the streets,. at least you've got a nice car and money" he said, "how so?" she asked, "I don't have anything" he said, "what's your name?" she asked, "Emerson" he said, "your full name" she said, "I don't know, I'm kinda like a product of rape" he said with a smile, "how sad... I could give you some money" she said, "no thanks I don't go around taking money from people, I'd rather work for it" he said, "what can you do?" she asked, "drive" he said, she was quiet as she thought for a while, she looked over at her car, and he used the opportunity to peek at the money in her hand, oh how he would love to suck this damsel dry.

"Maybe you could be my driver I'll pay you every week" she said, he was quiet as he thought for a while, "I.... thank you very much" he said, she nodded with a smile, "you'll stay over at an apartment I'll rent for you, I'll come over with the car every morning" she said, "thank you ever so much" he said with joy, she had a nice smile on her face, proud of herself for helping him.

An Affair it all led to an affair.

After 6 months

Emerson had been a good driver, they had become very close, he knew of the problems she faced with her cheating husband, he had mistresses, firstly she didn't even love him and he would send her out of the house, he became her confider, she trusted him alot and when he was a hundred percent sure she trusted him, he knew it was ready to take this so called friendship to a next level, he knew what he wanted, of course imagine her husband dies, everything goes to her, and they get married everything gets splitted then he can convince her to give everything to him.

Xiachan knocked on Emerson's door, tears falling out of her eyes, her husband almost hit her today before she ran away, he opened it and she fell on him, "what'd wrong Xia Xia?" he asked calling her name intimately, "he almost hit me" she sobbed, he made her sit down and gave her a glass of water, tears falling out of her eyes, "it's okay Xia Xia" he cooed as he rubbed her hair calming her down, she soon stopped crying, "thank you Emerson" she said with a smile, "it's okay" he said.

They sat in silence, she stared at him and him at her, he couldn't hold it any longer, as he pulled her in for a kiss, she didn't fight back and it all led to a long night of love making, a lot of rounds.

The next morning

Emerson woke up happy, he saw Xiachan laying in his arm, her body entwined with his, "I'm sorry... I shouldn't have... I.... I just couldn't see you like that" he said in a painful voice, she didn't know he had woken up and she looked up at him with a smile, "good morning" she greeted ignoring everything he had said, "I slept with you, I'm sorry" he said, "what are you apologizing for? I wanted it, I've always wanted it, you made me feel loved, he doesn't love me nor touch me, I've been craving for it" she said and he was indeed surprised.

"I love you Xiachan" he suddenly said, "me too Emerson, me too, but there's something" she said, "what?" he asked, "I have a son" she said, he was truly shocked, he didn't expect it, she never mentioned it, he was upset but he couldn't react, "there's no problem" he said with a smile, "I knew you wouldn't complain, if he can have several affairs, I'll have one too" she said as she leaned in for a kiss, he kissed her back, "I love you Emerson" she said, "me too Xia Xia" he said as they readied themselves for another round of love making.
