>>>>*Tuesday, Gotham 12:15 P.M.*<<<<<

All of the sexual tension disappeared in an instant once Ethan heard Pamela calling for him. She was like a child who just woke up from a terrible nightmare and wanted to sleep in their parent's bed at the worst possible times.

"Ethan? Can we talk? It's important." Pamela asked as she knocked on the door again. The woman sounded serious and yet if one saw her face, they would have seen her signature smirk front and center.

She was fully aware of what she was doing.

Seconds after, a vicious light started to shine from Mera's blue eyes as she glared at the door like it was her own worst enemy. She looked like she was about to murder someone responsible for killing her entire family, but it just so happened to be Pamela.

Of course, if it was a random person interrupting them then Ethan would have felt the same, but it happened to be his first wife and the eventual mother of his firstborn if nothing goes wrong.

["Calm yourself, princess."] Ethan gently said while grabbing her arm, pulling her down to his level to have her closer to him.

"Oh.." Mera's violent thoughts were quickly tuned out as she was forced to focus on him. The scary expression previously on her face instantly turned into one belonging to a bashful girl experiencing her first love in school, she was truly hit hard in that regard.

"H-how..did you do that?" She inquired while gazing into his eyes, admiring the stunning color as her hand caressed his broad chest.

Ethan chuckled lightly, feeling a bit ticklish from the action, "All of my wives can sense where I am and vice versa. And you can talk to me with your mind as long as you think about talking to me. So, even when we are separated, we aren't that far apart."

"A-ah...?"

"It's a bit confusing at first, but it shouldn't take long for you to use it." He reassured her with a smile.

Honestly, Mera didn't quite listen to his explanation as she was too busy focusing on the part that she was officially his wife by his standards. Eventually, she wants to have a wedding, but for now...this was okay.

Mera couldn't help but be excited about her future by Ethan's side and she imagined everything they would as a couple.

'My husband...my husband..' A smile bloomed on Mera's face, repeating those words in her mind like it was a mantra. She then immediately cupped his face and kissed his lips passionately to express her happiness.

"Mm...What was that for?" Ethan was a bit surprised by the sudden kiss, but he wasn't complaining about it.

"It's just me saying thank you..." Mera answered softly. There was no turning back for her now. The beautiful princess was now bound to Ethan for eternity and only death will separate them from each other.

A thought crossed her head at that moment, one that questioned what she just let happened, however, the thought was promptly erased by the overwhelming happiness.

Instead of a chain or a leash, it instead felt like she was being held by an incredibly strong and warm hand. Its warmth circulated throughout her body, making her feel extremely comfortable.

'I'll protect this feeling...no matter what...'

>>>>>*Tuesday, Gotham 10:35 A.M.*<<<<

It's been several days since the incident and currently, Ethan was enjoying an outing at the Gotham City Mall with everyone. Strangely though, the past several days have been a bit strange when dealing with his wives. Every time he tried to get intimate with one of them, he was either interrupted or they stopped abruptly before they could do anything remotely serious.

Was it all just a coincidence?

Or something else was at play?

Ethan gave it a thought but quickly dismissed it as nonsense to direct his brainpower on a different subject.

Recently, a news story about Bruce Wayne became quite popular across the globe. The man was gearing up to have a grand party in a couple of days where he will speak about his plan to reshape the city for the better.

The majority of the citizens were ecstatic about the news, it was all they ever talked about in the last several days. However, not everyone was happy about this news of change.

Who were they?

They were the thieves, the crime bosses, and anyone who took advantage of Gotham's unfortunate environment to widen their pockets. These people would be affected if Bruce Wayne is able to clean up the city, and of course, the ones in power weren't going to take this lying down.

Many have already come out to show their dissatisfaction with the millionaire's view and faced backlash for their opinions, but they weren't going to let that stop them...not one bit.

Normally, this sort of news wouldn't be important to Ethan, but he just so happened to spot billboard signs of someone running for mayor.

Lincoln March.

The name didn't mean anything to him at first, but he thought about it a bit more over the days as the name sounded so familiar.

And then it hit him!

Lincoln March is Owlman!

Who is Owlman?

A terribly named villain who is essentially the opposite of Batman, killing and striking fear into the hearts of people for the wrong reasons, something Batman would never stand for unless it was another bad counterpart.

If one kept up with a lot of the comics then they would know that there are countless variations of DC heroes out there. Owlman happens to be one of them with a not-so-clear origin, but it doesn't change the fact that he was dangerous.

But that's not even what made the realization important to Ethan. He remembered the villain started as a ruthless assassin...for The Court Of Owls.

'It's about time for me to squash a nuisance, but I need to get to Lincoln and pry out all of his information.' Ethan contemplated on the subject.

"What are you thinking about?" A familiar voice snapped Ethan out of his thoughts and he looked up to see a beautiful red-haired woman looking at him with a smirk on her face.

"Just something that will help solve at least one of our problems." He replied with a smile while focusing his eyes on the woman's face as she sat down beside him on the bench.

It was Pamela.

She was stunning no matter how many times he looked at her, and somehow she looked even more dazzling now than in the past.

'Is this how dad felt about mom?..' Ethan thought. Seeing the woman in casual clothes was always a treat, especially with her beautiful legs that she purposely showed off after she figured he liked them.

The two stared into each other's eyes, conveying words without speaking to the other before Ethan eventually asked a question.

"Are you sure it's ok with using that money? You know you don't-"

"What? You don't like a woman being the breadwinner? Is that it?" Pamela grinned, leaning a bit close. "That's quite old-fashioned you think?"

Ethan waved his hands, "No, of course, I don't mind it-"

"Then shut up and let me do what I want," Pamela said before leaving a gentle kiss on Ethan's cheek. "I'll let you be the big strong man when you get some money, ok?" She chuckled while pinching his cheek.

With Ethan being broke, Pamela quickly stepped up to the plate with the savings account she had made in the past. She was saving it for one of her projects, but she never felt the need to continue it now.

The amount wasn't a lot compared to what he previously had, but it was enough for almost an entire year if they didn't spend too much.

Ethan shook his head and sighed before flashing a brief smile. He wouldn't say it out loud, but he was happy to relinquish a bit of responsibility for a while, however, that fact was as clear as day to Pamela.

More importantly, the reason they were at the mall today was because Ethan decided it was time to get Cassandra and Mera some clothes to wear to not stand out.

Mera wasn't exactly happy about it, but a little coaxing from him quickly changed her mind.

Cassandra on the other hand was excited which one could tell by the small smile present on her face. The teenager quickly dragged her mother away as soon as they entered the mall and Harley went after them for some odd reason.

Myra and Raven we're currently helping Mera look for clothes, but he wondered if either of them could actually help.

'I should probably go check on them...'

*Beep*

A notification sound came from his cellphone and Ethan immediately his mood skyrocketed.

"What is it?" Pamela asked curiously.

"Wizard has already started building on the island we purchased and showed a few pictures of the progress," Ethan answered, handing over the phone to her.

"Really?!" Pamela's face instantly lit up as pictures of an uninhabited tropical island came into view. It was an island with about 40 acres of land located several miles away from Greece.

If one can't imagine the size then imagine approximately 30 football fields side by side until they form a single entity. The shape looked similar to a crescent moon and the mansion will be located right in the middle of it.

Wizard only showed pictures of the foundation being built, but still, it was exciting to see actual proof.

'Hmm...I'll have to pay him back more someday.' Ethan promised himself after feeling a bit regretful about frightening the man in the past.

If eyes could be stars then Pamela's eyes would be blinding bright while she scrolled through the pictures. Never in her life could she imagine that she will be settling down in such of paradise with the one she loved. She almost started to regret her plan to get back at him...almost.

"This is real right?..."

"Yes."

Hearing that simple answer gave Pamela all the reason to passionately kiss Ethan's lips like a crazed woman in love. The action drew quite a few eyes and many were jealous, wanting nothing more than to wish them bad luck.

"Do you think...I could give him some suggestions on how the mansion should be built?" She giddily asked.

Obviously, Ethan couldn't deny her and simply nodded his head as he stood up from the bench.

"You do that and I'll check on the others."

"Yes~" Pamela answered with a slightly flushed face as she watched him walk away. Once he was out of sight, she laid her hand on her stomach and imagined what life would be like on that remote island.

"Do you think you'll like it here?... I think you will.'

>>>>>*Tuesday, Gotham 10:42 A.M.*<<<<

It didn't take long for Ethan to spot Sandra who was currently arguing with Harley in a women's clothing store within the mall.

"For the last time! My daughter is not wearing something like that!" Sandra yanked the skimpy black underwear from Harley's hand to put it back on the rack. The crazy blond was constantly choosing suggestive clothing for her daughter and of course, it didn't sit well with her.

"What was wrong with that? What if a boy takes a liking to her and things get a little spicy~ She is pretty cute ya know?" Harley frowned, placing her hands on her hips.

"If they don't mind losing what makes them a male...then they can surely try to woo my daughter. It will be the last thing they ever do in their wretched life," Sandra scowled, releasing a bit of killing intent. Oddly enough, several men in the mall suddenly felt a chill go down their spine at the same time, however, they were clueless as to why it happened and continued with their day.

"You know, you look quite charming when you're angry." Ethan smiled and slowly approached Sandra, wrapping an arm around her huggable waist.

"H-Husband!..." Sandra exclaimed as her entire face started to heat up, causing her face to turn bright red. "...Please don't make fun of me like this."

"Oh, so I can make fun of you a different way?" He quipped. "Because I can definitely do that."

"You...really.." Sandra wryly smiled, she couldn't even get mad at Ethan even though she wanted to. In terms of resisting Ethan's charm, Sandra happened to be the weakest despite her upbringing. Although she would deny it, Sandra loves showing her vulnerable side to Ethan.

A bizarre thing for the former top assassin, but something was comforting about letting her guard down around him. For once she didn't have to watch her back everywhere she went.

Eventually, she snuggled against his warm chest, enjoying the brief moment as he ran his fingers through her silky hair.

"Haha, I came to check up on you guys and make sure a certain gremlin isn't acting right," Ethan said while glancing at Harley.

"Hey!!" Harley glared at him, shocked that he would call his own wife such a thing. "That's uncalled for, mister!" She frowned.

Ethan widened his eyes, "Who said I was talking about you?"

"You!!-oh..." Harley quickly became confused but then she noticed Ethan's smug grin that crept upon his face. "FUCK YOU!!" She suddenly exclaimed while smacking his shoulder before flipping him off.

Ethan and Sandra simply chuckled at Harley's brief moment of confusion while Cassandra stared on, clueless about what was going on. However, it didn't stop her from having a small smile present on her face.

The loud noise drew people's attention and they even expected some sort of drama with how furious Harley sounded.

'It looks like a secret girlfriend just found out about her boyfriend's family.' A random person thought.

But then the unexpected happened.

Harley then kissed Ethan.

It wasn't a kiss on the cheek or a light peck, but a full-on passionate kiss reserved only for lovers.

People who were watching couldn't believe the two were having a make-out session while he held another woman in his arms.

The women witnessing this thought it was sickening, however, the men who saw them cursed Ethan to death while mentally saluting him at the same time.

Emotions are truly a complicated beast.

Once Harley had her fill, she grabbed his hand and held onto tightly. "You're lucky I find you cute, Honeybun. Otherwise, I'd have to beat you up!" She said in a sarcastic tone.

"I'm really lucky then." He said as he beamed with happiness.

Harley wanted to do so much more to him, but she controlled herself as she promised Pamela to stick to the plan although she was finding it quite difficult.

Unlike the other's, Harley is physically the most compatible with Ethan, bringing out each other's primal urges if they aren't focused on controlling themselves.

'Stupid favor! Why did old me have to promise that to her! Ugh...I want him so bad..'

>>>>*Tuesday, Gotham 11:02 A.M.*<<<<

The three chatted for a little while they helped Cassandra pick out a few more clothes to purchase. Although she could not speak, it wasn't hard to show her displeasure with some of the choices they made as she either frowned or outright ignore them.

Her sense of style generally ranged from long-sleeved shirts and jeans with the occasional shorts. She stayed away from the typically girly clothes, making herself seem like a bit of a tomboy which she pulled off quite well.

Currently, she was wearing a black long-sleeved shirt and slightly ripped blue jeans. Sandra didn't understand why someone would wear ripped jeans intentionally, but she let it go when Cassandra refused to take them off, something Harley found extremely hilarious.

"I think that's about all we need for now." Sandra sighed, feeling a bit tired from dealing with her daughter and Harley. Although she was tired, she felt excited and satisfied for some odd reason.

"Phew~ All that hard work, I'm exhausted." Harley wiped her imaginary sweat from her brow.

Sandra then glared at her, "You did nothing except bother me the entire time."

"And that is hard work! Trust me! I'm a doctor~" Harley said, puffing her chest out a little.

Sandra simply deadpanned as she couldn't believe what was being uttered out of Harley's mouth.

"Being able to use a search engine doesn't make you a doctor," Sandra scoffed.

"You're right, but having a doctorate in criminal psychology does," Harley replied while stroking her chin. "Hmm...speaking of that, I can tell that there is something wrong with you...wait that's just your face. I can't help you with that."

"Why you!!" Sandra growled, her killing intent soared just by looking at Harley's pleased face. Normally, she wouldn't get this angry, but she's been somewhat irritable because she couldn't get too intimate with Ethan.

Perhaps they were punishing themselves besides their intended target.

"Alright, stop provoking each other. We don't want to make a bigger scene than we already have." Ethan said, calming them down before things could escalate any further.

"But she started it!" Harley pouted almost like a little girl as she tightly hugged his arm.

Sandra gritted her teeth, "I wouldn't have if you weren't such a-"

"Enough." A single word sounded out from Ethan's mouth and immediately it seemed like the entire world stopped from fear of offending him any further.

"Sorry..." Sandra and Hatley quickly apologized and sighed as they realized they were out of line.

"We'll take a break and go eat. It's already past noon." He softly said while giving the both of them a kiss on their cheek, making them blush and grumble at the same time.

As Ethan was focused on them, he felt a tug on his shoulder and looked to see Casandra staring at him. He had to admit, Cassandra was quite beautiful as she of course took a lot after her mother, but possessed unique attributes that made them different.

Her general stoic face slowly started to change bit by bit and honestly, it made him happy.

Without thinking, Ethan slowly patted Cassandra's head, almost like he was an older brother that adored his siblings.

Cassandra thought about moving away, but she didn't sense any malice from his actions, and somehow being patted on the head felt quite comfortable.

Ethan warmly smiled, "Don't worry, they were just a little agitated. They are fine now."

Cassandra looked at him for few moments and then nodded her head as she seemed to understand the general meaning of those words.

Seeing this short interaction brought a smile to Sandra's face, happy at the fact that he got along with her mostly mute daughter.

'I wonder what you'll say when you learn how to talk..' She thought.

>>>>*Tuesday, Gotham 12:47 P.M.<<<<

The food court in the mall had a variety of different choices of food to eat and all of it looked and smelled delicious. Ethan told them to get what they want and sit at a table while he goes to check on Mera, Raven, and Myra.

'Hopefully, they were getting along better.' He wryly smiled as he went to find them.

Several minutes of walking and he found the three not in a clothing store, but a store that sold all the latest video games. Currently, Raven was playing a fighting game demo with Mera who was obviously losing while Myra watched.

The beauty of the three women brought a small crowd of people to watch the event.

"How-What?! How did you do that?!!" The usual dignity of a princess was nowhere to be found on Mera's face as Raven connected combos after combos with her character.

Despite the aggressive way she played, Raven's face remained unchanged as if she took no joy in beating her.

"Hahaha! She's such a noob. She's getting her ass handed to her." A random guy said.

"Right?!" Another guy agreed. "She's probably just a filthy casual. Too bad too...she talked a lot of smack in the beginning."

"It's just karma!"

The audience started to laugh at Mera's misfortune, causing the woman to blush from shame. "How...how dare you laugh at me.." Mera gritted her teeth and unconsciously started to break the controller.

Mera was seconds from unleashing her anger out on the humans, but someone else was faster.

"Hey...are you guys laughing at my woman?" Ethan growled, ignoring even the new beautiful clothes that Mera wore.

Immediately after he spoke, the air in the store seemed to turn cold, causing the people to shiver uncontrollably.

Although he was behind them, the audience did not dare turn around as they feared looking into the eyes of someone that triggers their warning signs.

One of the males that insulted Mera gained the courage to turn around and they instantly regretted it. Unfortunately, they were blessed with a small height and they could only look up into the crimson eyes of someone who was an apex hunter, one that would rip them to shreds if they as much as looked at him wrong.

"I...." The man couldn't get the words he wanted to say and simply stood there frozen from fear.

"Master!" Myra ignored everything and tackled him, squeezing him tightly against her soft and ample bosom. Her arms were filled with bags of clothes which made the experience even more uncomfortable.

Ethan's anger started to wan as his face is buried into Myra's chest, warranting a disgruntled groan. He probably won't admit it, but being hugged like this made him remember how his mother comforted him as a toddler when he was upset.

"Alright, that's enough Myra. Please let go of me." Ethan groaned.

With his anger now subsided, the air returned to normal and the audience could act normally. However, none of them wanted to stay behind and quickly left, leaving only them and the employee's behind.

"But...Just a little longer!~" She squeezed him even tighter before eventually letting him go regretfully.

"Ethan..." Mera was a bit ashamed of how she acted in front of him. She wanted to hide in the deepest of holes where no one could find her. Fortunately, Ethan was sensible and kissed her forehead to calm Mera's racing thoughts.

"Mm..." A soft groan escaped her lips as she leaned in closer to him.

Ethan turned to Raven while stroking Mera's hair, "Did you have fun bullying her?" He asked with a smile.

"Absolutely," Raven answered while putting down the controller. "I have to make people know their place underneath me." She said in the most monotoned voice she could muster as if she was mocking someone.

And as if on cue, Mera buried her face against Ethan's chest which pretty much told him everything.

"Umm..."

The employees of the store started to stare at them as if they were silently asking them to leave. Of course, they weren't going to say it out loud after what happened.

Ethan sighed once again and shook his head. "Let's get out of here before we cause even more problems."

Raven raised an eyebrow, "We? You're the only one that caused a problem. Must we suffer because someone couldn't control their emotions?"

"Eh...Haha..." Ethan awkwardly laughed. "Let's go before...we cause more problems." He repeated, quickly dragging Mera away with Myra close behind.

"Idiot," Raven mumbled under her breath with a slight smile.

Soon after, everyone was reunited and sat down to eat while talking amongst themselves.

If someone was watching them from afar then they would believe that they were all normal people enjoying a day at the mall.

Unfortunately, they were not.

*Ring Ring*

Ethan picks up his phone to answer it.

"I found them." A familiar voice said almost excitedly.

Ethan wickedly smiled, "Give me the details." he demanded as his body was aching for action.

>>>>*Tuesday, New York City 9:37 P.M.*<<<<

In the city that never sleeps, a new company has been hard at work trying to get their business off the ground. A company by name of Starrware Industries, owned by Karen Starr otherwise known as Power Girl.

The move from Metropolis wasn't easy, but it was in their best interest to increase the worth of the company. Unfortunately, the major brains behind the company had to split up her time to complete her job as a Justice League member.

"Other than slightly higher crime rates, I'm not finding anything serious despite what Batman said." Kara sighed while flying above the city. For the past week or so, she's been on patrol to catch a glimpse of an organization that has been making a bit of noise in New York.

MAZE is what they call themselves.

The organization was thought to be finished after being thwarted by Robin and Batgirl, but the name has been associated with several murders that were almost too brutal to let the general public know.

The New York City police force insisted on help from the Justice League and Kara happened to be the best person to send at the time.

'If that was all that I was doing then I wouldn't complain...but he has me being a super nanny to these kids.' Kara frowned as she landed on top of a relatively tall building.

"You find anything yet?"

"For the mission?...no. But for my stomach? Yes!! Can we pleaaseee go for pizza before they close! It's right in front of us!" Someone was quite vocal about their needs, but the only thing around was a strange green falcon flying next to Kara and she wasn't using her communicator.

Kara pinched the bridge of her nose, "Tell me again...why am I here with you guys?"

"Because your boss told you to be our boss and-" The green falcon froze once its eyes were met with glowing red ones. "Shutting up now." It said before the green falcon morphed into a teenaged boy with green skin, hair, and even green eyes in a matter of seconds.

He was quite short, standing at only 5ft tall which didn't bother him at all...unless someone points it out. The strange boy goes by several different names, but the one he liked the most was...Beast Boy.

"You're not the only one suffering. I would love to be without a babysitter." A familiar voice said as a shadowy figure jumped onto the building without an ounce of noise. Once they stepped into the light, a masked young boy came into view wearing an outfit that was a mix of yellow, red, and black with a giant 'R' above his left pectoral.

His suit looked a bit different, but there was no mistaking it, this boy with the spiked up hair was Dick Grayson.

"Where's the other brat, Robin?"

Robin pointed behind him with a confident smirk, "He's right behind me!-Oh...he's not. And I'm not a brat. I'm 16!"

"Well, when you learn not to leave your team member behind, I'll remember that." Kara then used the advantages of being an alien from Krypton and quickly finds the person she was looking for.

It was a young man probably no older than 18 with short black hair and blue eyes. He was tall and built quite sturdy, making girls swoon over him with just a glance at his handsome face.

The young man wore quite generic clothes, but on his t-shirt was the symbol of an 'S' that marked he was either a Superman fan or the third Kryptonian alive on Earth.

Despite his heritage, he, unfortunately, couldn't fly yet like the other two. He felt like a failure and a freak of nature that shouldn't exist as Superman didn't want anything to do with him...

The young man looked at his hands, 'But who could blame him...but at least..'

"There you are brat." Kara smiled as she flew down to the young man who was leaning against a wall of a dimly lit alleyway.

He scowled, "My name is K-no...it's Conner. Just Conner..."

"Well, aren't you just a ray of sunshine?" Kara smiled, wrapping an arm around his neck. She didn't know what he was thinking about but she could somewhat understand what the boy was going through. However, unlike Clark, she was glad to interact with her first cousin once removed since technically he was Superman's son and family was still family...

"I tried to get him to play video games, but he gets angry too easily...he broke my favorite controller!" Beast Boy exclaimed after flying down as a bird.

"Are you still going on about that?" Robin asked after overhearing the comment when he arrived.

"Yes! That controller meant everything to me! Did you know that-"

"Alright enough talking." Kara interrupted. "Another person is joining the team soon so I need you guys to shape up a bit more."

Beast Boy became excited, " Another person? Is it a girl? Around our age? Because no offense you're oooll-quite young." He changed his words just seconds before Kara activated her heat vision.

"You're training time has been increased by two hours." Kara frowned.

"W-What?!! But my gaming time!! I'll never survive the week!!" Beast Boy screamed as he groveled on the ground in front of Kara. Seeing his misfortune brought a smile to Conner's face until he noticed Dick was grinning at him.

"What?!" Connor exclaimed.

Dick simply shrugged his shoulders, " And once again patrol hasn't been fruitful. Things have been relatively quiet since-"

*BOOM* A building just several blocks away suddenly exploded into an inferno of flames and immediately the four sprang into action.

>>>>*Tuesday, Gotham 11:39 P.M*<<<<

In an undisclosed room, a group of men and women wearing white owl masks sat around a table in complete silence. All of their eyes and attention was on the hooded man with a red owl mask as he tapped away on a phone. The hooded man was known as the Judge, the head honcho of the Court of Owls.

"The first set of tasks has been going quite smooth, but not smooth enough..." The judge said, standing up from his seat.

"To keep our hold on Gotham we must have everything under control...EVERYTHING!!" He shouted, slamming his hands on the table. "...So tell me why... why haven't we captured those defectors yet?"

One of the white masks started to speak up, "Sir...they-"

"Stop. It sounds like you were trying to make an excuse." The judge started to laugh, but no one was laughing along with him, making it a bit eerie. "You weren't going to do that were you?"

"No sir..." The white mask quickly looked down, afraid to speak any further.

"Listen close. We are but one gear among thousands of others, but still, our function is of great importance. We do this not for money or fame...We do this because it is our duty." The judge said whilst walking around the room.

"....Soon our God will walk amongst us and we will hand over each and every corner of the world to him so that he may rule over all mankind! And for all of that...We must stay united. We must stay strong. And we must not fail...is that clear?"

All of the white masks instantly nodded their heads.

"Good...now...I think they were last spotted in New York City correct? Let's see who we can send to make things right...the first time."
