The Twins

(I will avoid going into detail about MC ability or his wishes until chapter 10. Just know that for now he doesn't really have the limitless, until chapter 10. Mc would go a time of using the Limitless is in a wrong way, but that wouldn't last long

The Mc for a time would be Itachi until chapter 10, since not many people know of the light novel, I thought I will just spend the first 10 chapters on Itachi. Yes, MC is not as talented as Itachi, this would be explained on chapter 10.)

The Land of Fire was one of the 5 countries in this world. This land was home to the village hidden in the leaves, surrounded by life. A village that was the strongest, and a village that was famous for birthing genius... how couldn't it?

l

This village was home to powerful clans, such as the Hyuga, Aburame, and Uchiha clan. These were some of the strongest clans in this world, but the most powerful and outstanding clan had to be the Uchiha clan.

The Uchiha clan used to have just one rival, that being the Senju clan, but as the Senju clan began to slowly die out, it left the Uchiha clan without any rivals, and without rivals, the village grew uneasy of the Uchiha clan, suppressing the amount of power they had in the village.

The current clan head of the Uchiha clan, Fugaku Uchiha was one of the strongest shinobi within the hidden leaf village. This was one of the prime candidates to become Fourth Hokage, who even had the title Wicked Eye Fugaku.

Even under the suppression of the hidden leaf, the Uchiha clan still were on a steady climb. With every day that passes, geniuses are born in this clan. They were not like the Hyuga clan which cripple themselves by putting seals on their members, if the Hyuga clan didn't do that, then the Hyuga clan would be considered the Uchiha clan rivals... but they were not.

At this moment, one of Fugaku's children was lying down on his side, reading a book. The odd thing about this boy was that he had white hair. White hair within the Uchiha clan was rare, most of their most talented members had Black Hair instead of white... you watched Naruto and you don't remember such a person with White hair? Well, thats because this is a parallel universe, a universe where Itachi had a twin brother. I was that Twin Brother, Gojo Uchiha.

I was not proud of the name. I think It was lazy. The only reason I got the name was because the god who reincarnated me got the idea from me... oh, there seems to be a lot to explain here.

I was from Earth, there I pushed a little girl who was about to get hit by a truck out of the way, leading to my death. It turns out that the little girl was God's child, out to experience what it was like to be mortal, and as thanks for saving her, I was given 3 wishes. Anything I could probably want. As for what those 3 wishes were... well, it would be too easy to just tell you.

"I expected, I found you just where I left you." The door opened, and Fugaku entered just to find me where he left me a few hours ago. I looked over towards him with a prideful look, although it was hard to tell since I had sunglasses on.

"Impressive right? With this level of patience and self-control, I will surely make you proud." I said with a bright smile while giving him a thumbs up. Fugaku's face turned dark, black lines covering his forehead.

He wanted to walk over and just send me flying with a kick, but he paused when his youngest son, Itachi Uchiha entered with a downcast look.

"You alright?" I asked with a confused look. Itachi Uchiha was taken to the battlefield by Fugaku, it was clear his experience on the battlefield wasn't pretty.

"Give him some space... you would be going tomorrow." Fugaku said calmly. Today, Itachi took a life for the first time and saw the cruelty of war. Itachi was 4 years old, for anyone else, Fugaku would have thought taking them to the battlefield was a bad idea, but he gave birth to two outstanding twins.

They were not genius, but prodigies amongst prodigies. The two had shown outstanding talent from a young age. At the age of 4, both I and Itachi already were rivaling the powers of Genin, which put us above the likes of Sannin, who were Genin level at the age of 6 years of age. Plus, we had yet to even enter the Ninja Academy, if things go well, we should join the Academy sometime next year.

I didn't say anything to Fugaku, yes I and Itachi were outstanding and extremely talented, but this had a huge drawback. Itachi mind was far above those of the same age group, at the age of 4 years old, he already had the reasoning capability of a grown adult. Itachi wouldn't process the event he just saw like a child.

From what I remembered in the anime, this would leave Itachi traumatized, leading to Itachi almost taking his own life, seeing no reason to live. Itachi was a kind kid, someone I came to look up to, as I didn't see myself ever becoming as kind as Itachi was.

We were two opposites. I was the type who would have the world burn so long as I was happy. Itachi was the type who could give up everything for the sake of peace.

I sighed while going up to our shared room. There I saw Itachi lying down in his bed, he wasn't asleep but was lost in deep thought.

"It was that bad?" I asked while standing over Itachi, who just simply nodded at my words. I frowned lightly, I had never been to war or even killed anyone. The only reason I saved that little girl in my past life was because my body moved on its own. I had never seen a lifeless body, at most I saw some disgusting stuff on the internet,

"Why is there war?" Itachi asked, not understanding the whole reason for the war.

"I think it's a battle for resources... let's say a village is running low on water, and the nearest source of water is taken by another village. If you were the village head, you would have to make the hard choice of going to war for your people." I said lightly, making Itachi nod lightly, he had of course thought of something similar.

"At the end of the day, those in power don't care for those below them. They are cannon fodder, so what if a few thousand of genin die? So what if Chunin dies? So long as there is more to fill up the gap made by them, they would ignore it all. They would justify their acts with some BS that they died for some greater good, brainwashing that starts with the young, creating an ever-ending cycle." I said lightly, making Itachi sigh softly, that was a part he didn't think of.

"This cycle... it can't be broken," Itachi said calmly if one village suddenly stops trying to go to war or something like that. It would be foolish, to stop fighting for resources, you're giving others the chance to get resources and grow stronger. then again, would the other village just ignore you the one village sitting back, and not losing a man at war?

"It was once broken, but a new cycle was created," I said lightly, to which Itachi froze for a moment before nodding, remembering the era of Hashirama.

a few dozen years ago, there was no such thing as a shinobi. instead, it was the warring period. During the Warring States Period, the countries of the world were uniformly small, constantly battling each other for land, power, and opportunity. To fight these battles, countries hired one or more clans of mercenary shinobi to represent their interests, the shinobi's loyalties ultimately going to the highest bidder.

The constant warfare in turn led to constant death, creating an average lifespan of only thirty years. Children were the greatest victims of the era, forced to fight for their clan no differently than an adult would and, more often than not, being killed by older and more skilled opponents.

Amidst all the vying for supremacy, two clans emerged as the strongest: the Senju clan, famed for their balanced skill in all the shinobi arts, and the Uchiha clan, famed for their Sharingan. Whenever one side in a conflict hired one of the clans, the opposing side would hire the other clan. This constant competition created a deep-seated animosity between its members, with all Senju having lost a loved one to a Uchiha and vice versa. Despite the clans' enmity, it would be the Senju and Uchiha that brought an end to the Warring States Period.

Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha came together, as the clan head of their clans, they built the hidden leaf village, and many clans joined them.

"I believe to change the world, one needs power. Like how an audit could have children behave, being strong enough that the world behaves is the only way. This could be out of fear, or out of respect, either way... one could bring an end to war, so long as someone is so powerful to bring an end to it all." I said with a smile, making Itachi nod lightly at my words.

"We are such geniuses, we will be the strongest. Who is more suited for the role of peace other than us?" I asked with a smile while holding out my fist towards Itachi, who smiled lightly while giving me a fist bump.

"How do you plan to bring peace?" Itachi asked, he was sure I had a completely different way to go about world peace.

"I will slaughter all of the world leaders, before taking over the world. Ruling the world with an iron fist would be the way. To prevent everyone from rebelling, I would make sure my rule is fair and just," I said lightly, making Itachi's eye twitch.

"Brother that's too over the top," Itachi said with a frown, to which I frowned.

"Oh? how would you go about bringing world peace?" I asked with a frown, to which Itachi thought for a moment.

"... I don't think peace can be bought upon through fear. that fear would build up, and soon it would explode. I think this is a matter to sit on, and closely study, and in the end... maybe peace can only gained through war." Itachi said lightly, the nearest thing he had to gaining peace right now was through war.

By having the hidden leaf slowly swallow up the rest of the world, showing unmatched power that even when the rest of the villages united, they would be defeated... well, this level of power, rivaling that of Hashirama, was surely going to bring peace.

Sure many villages would be unhappy, but over time, that unhappiness would disappear as the world unites.

"Sure, maybe I will change my idea growing up. Maybe It would change seeing the impact of war..." I said lightly, to which Itachi nodded lightly. He had seen piles of lifeless bodies, and amongst those lifeless bodies, he found someone who was alive. So, Itachi went over to help them, giving him some water and looking after his injuries. At first, the man was okay, grateful for Itachi's help, but as soon as the man realized Itachi was from the Hidden Leaf village, he tried to kill him.

Itachi was a kind person, but he wasn't a fool. He instantly killed the person, but he was left confused as to why that person would try and kill someone who was trying to help them and at that a kid...

I left Itachi alone and went to go get ready for my turn to head to the battlefield... I would be lying if I said I wasn't scared. If someone as calm and collected as Itachi was left scarred, I couldn't help but grow uneasy about what it would do to me.
