Friends

Junya managed to leave the classroom after telling Mr Bink he would think about it. Originally he was just entertaining him, yet he started to appeal to a side of Junya.

"Can I really use my blessing for evil in the name of good?"

Morally it was somewhat hard for Junya to swallow. The contradicting terms being used interchangeably was hard to grasp which made his mind fall into turmoil with reasoning.

Sigh…

He started having a headache to which he released a sigh, vowing to give up on reasoning this topic for now.

He rubbed his chin like a genie lamp, while walking, he sensed someone standing in front of his path. He changed his trajectory to avoid this person, yet the person continued interrupting his path.

Junya finally opened his eyes and saw Horun, who he met before the fitness trial began.

"What."

"Is that how you greet someone? Is that what your mother taught you." Horun smirked.

A rock solid vein bulged in Junya's head.

'Don't do anything Junya, he's trying to get a reaction. That's all'

"Maybe she forgot, if you ever see her you could ask"

"Hmph" Horun's face turned to one of disgust. "Try and refrain from using your last name or we will have to publicly separate you from the name again, Just like your mother, so think twice before doing that again."

"I don't know what your talking about."

"Continue not knowing, my family is looking into your where you crawled from. So If you don't wanna be humiliated crawl back and change your last name."Horun said his piece before walking away.

'I'm not sure what he could find out if he dug up where I'm from. He might find I have a blessing I can't control, but if I do well to mask it, then they will never know. The B.M.A shouldn't give my info up that freely, but sooner or later it could be released.

My guess is that Amus might not have told them in detail about my blessing. I could bet the process of getting citizenship would have been much more serious if they had more details of what my losing control looked like, so I should be worried, right?'

His worries were dispelled after using his own rationale. 'If Amus really was indebted to my mother, I think obscuring the truth would be the least. I also doubt they might let me go that easily, so I can't give them a reason to investigate me.'

This leads him to look back at Horun.

"I have my mother's last name. Therefore, I have no relationship based on what your family stated. If you want to make it known publicly again, just for little ole me then I'd be honoured…"

"Hmph, keep that same attitude."

Along the corridor, some people cast side-eyes at them, while continuing on their way.

He turned away and continued walking. To the side, he could see a classmate, Shyla Medina looking at him with a curious eye, yet she never approached and watch him walk away.

Junya arrived at his room, not long after his encounter, he managed to arrive to his dorm room.

"Dammit! That cycle pack is soo annoying!"

The yell made Junya look twice over the room, over on the corner he saw Wenji and Wrenlow shouting while playing games. Not only that, there was a lot of equipment in the middle of the room.

Junya's bed was one of the few places where they could sit. Everywhere else was filled with gym equipment, clothes, gadgets and other useless ornaments.

He left something like a fuse going off in his head.

"What the hell are you doing! What will we do with all this equipment! This closet is not that big, are you shitting me?"

Junya yelled making his presence known.

"Haha, Junya! Welcome back, looks like I beat you again. If I'm honest. You're not really giving me much of a challenge."

Junya's eyes twitched looking at Wrenlow in disbelief.

"Now, now, calm down. It's just some renovation. My people bought out the room beside up will redesign the whole thing." Wrenlow carried him to show him the complete removal of the other side of the room and the workers digging the wall down, while the maids packed away his clothes.

"Why, how… I" Junya was at a loss for words. "Just get off my bead, It's been a long day. I wanna get some shut-eye."

"No problem"

"Why don't you focus on healing. You can't even move." Wenji's maid was now doing everything for him. Including picking cards from his pack and playing them. In every sense of the word, Wenji sat like a puppet without a master.

"It's only a small price to pay for my super-secret ability. This is just a drawback, I might be like this for weeks" He explained. "Besides, I'm always healing, It's unavoidable"

"So wait… how will you shower"

His face turned bright red, his eyes started darting everywhere else, except his maid.

"If young master need, I would be happ-"

"Ahhhh! Never mind that, let's just get back to the game. You need to start timing the Pecca Knight right behind the wizard, you need the master the timing" Wenji switched the topic trying to leave the awkward conversation alone.

"Junya, wanna go one round? I promise I'll go easy this time"

"I just need to rest, I'm exhausted" Junya headed straight for his bed taking off his shirt for more comfort. Despite all the drilling and shouting, he somehow managed to get some rest.

"I can't believe he really passed out. Such a buzzkill."

"He did fall asleep fast, but if it was a challenge I could fall asleep faster!" Wrenlow boasted nonsensically.

"Yeah, he is pretty weird and mysterious."

"What do you mean, aren't you two friends?" Wrenlow asked confused.

"To be honest we only talked before the trial started. We never started off friendly but he help me from some guys that wanted to break all my limbs and put it all on social media."

'Hm? Why didn't you fight them, besides aren't they afraid of what might happen?"

"I ran away from home and separated myself from my family. The school might have done something as punishment, but it doesn't matter if someone disrespects me. I have nothing to do with my family."

The maid held her head down at Wenji's words.

"He told me his mom was involved in an arranged marriage, she abandoned it and then the Wotanbe family disowned her and in kind, he isn't associated with them?"

"Hm? The things on pizza?"

"Not Wasabi. The Apex family!"

"Didn't they all die? Huh the more you know" Wrenlow raised his eyebrow. "So he isn't a part of the Apex family, then who is his mom?"

"Not sure. There are many people that are disowned from Apex families for less. Also, this happened before the Eve of Chaos, so it would be hard to tell."

"We can just ask him when he wakes up"

"No idiot! He doesn't trust us. You can tell by the way he thinks about everything and hardly tells us anything. I doubt he has any plans to explain anything. Besides, he's pretty scary"

"I don't think so, I see a fiery challenge brewing!"

"That's because you wouldn't know scary if it slapped you in the mouth." Wenji chided.

"Haha! Trick question, no one can do that without losing their arm. Look who's the idiot now!"

Wenji rubbed his forehead. "Let's just play the game"

Knock Knock Knock

Seconds after they heard knocks coming from the door.
